    Can you please share the expenses you paid for the entire process? Thanks for sharing your experience! I am glad to hear that everything has turned out well!

    • @adventureswith_alexa

      Yes I realized I didn’t mention it too much in the video. Basically we only paid for the meds I had to take. They have a pharmacy at the hospitals where it would also be free but they didn’t have any of the ones I needed. All the doctors appointments and the procedures were free for me as a citizen in the public healthcare system. Overall it was under $100 just for meds. Thanks for coming along! 💕

      @@adventureswith_alexa Thanks for the response! I wonder if it would be any different if you had Mexican permanent resident status instead of Mexican citizenship? I mean in terms of the expenses, do you know ?

    Praise God that all the tests have out good.
    I can imagine how your mom was feeling during those hours of waiting and the relief she felt when it was all over.
    Thank you for sharing your experience. Are you feeling better?

    They're multiple reasons why they don't let family go in the procedure . Its normal even in the USA (based on my experience). Having family in the Hospital is normal even if you're an adult in mexico.

    • @adventureswith_alexa
      @adventureswith_alexa  9 місяців тому

      Right. I wasn't expecting her to go in to the actual procedure with me. I just was surprised she didn't go back with me in the waiting area. I've had surgery before and my parents were with me until they administered the anesthesia. But I know things can vary. Thanks for watching! 😊

      @@adventureswith_alexa when my brother had surgery in Mexico they let us wait in the waiting room. I guess it depends on the Hospital.

    Hello good Alexa, I am a doctor in the Mexican health system, I am just telling you that you need to ask permission from the public hospital staff to take photos or record videos, if they allow it without a problem, but if they do not allow it, you cannot do it. It is clear that the doctor at the office, an anesthesiologist, did not ask for permission, because she did not realize that you were recording video and possibly taking photos. (In the United States I believe there are laws that allow patients to register their consultation). I think so) but in Mexico that is not allowed and you have to ask the staff for permission. If I were the anesthesiologist at the office, I would have asked you to leave the office. I'm telling you this in case you didn't know, that you are well and that you get better. greetings.

      Hello! Thank you for letting me know! I will be careful to do that in the future. I was unaware it was an issue but I also try to not get peoples' faces on camera without permission in general. I am doing much better now, thank you! 😊

    Try taking Magnesium and Fiber, and also try eating healthy, and do not eat meat, especially red meat, a lot health problems come from eating meat.

    The Hospital is free in Mexico? If is public is great in the USA isn't free😢

    • @adventureswith_alexa
      @adventureswith_alexa  9 місяців тому

      Only in the public system for citizens. Private health care is not free here. But yes it is different than the US in that respect

      Alexa, this was an interesting video of Mexico’s public health. Most of all, praising God with you that all tests have come back negative. Praying you find holistic healing. You mentioned that you took medications that seemed to cause these GI problems. Do you mind sharing those medications? Or send me a text. ❤️ Love you!!
