Other family members have passed on as well: Sharon (Walt's younger daughter) in 1993, Lillian (Walt's wife) in 1997, & Diane (Walt's older daughter) in 2013. Now the most senior surviving descendants of Walt & Roy O. Disney are their grandkids.
Roy Disney was instrumental in Disneyland's growth after Walt passed. Every land, except Frontierland, became better in time. I still miss the burro ride and the stagecoach. I also miss the Indians attacking the fort. After Walt passed Disneyland went into a funk. Roy and Eisner found the mojo and made it into what it is today.

I'll never forget the day i met him....i was working in an animation studio and almost bumped into him in the hallway. I looked up and for moment i thought it was Walt Disney LOL ...then i recall ...oh yar' Roy was coming to visit our animation studio
What is sad is this crap they call Disney Channel today. I say make a Disney classic channel that shows old shows like Wonderful world of color, Shows that had Walt in them himself. And bring back the old classic cartoons.
