My mom worked for Walt beginning before Snow White through WW2 and retired after 44 years with Disney. The immediate staff used to often have lunch with Walt at the Tam 'O Shanter near the studio and it's all still there. Even the menu is the same. He was amazing go her tales.
Not many people can say that they are still loved by so many who never knew him, 50 yrs later. The man was, and always will be, a legend. Rest in peace Walt. ❤💚💜💙💛
I met Uncle Walt when I was very young; that is an experience that I will never forget. At the age of 3 and a little under two years before his passing I am provably one of the youngest people who can say that that have met Mr Disney! God Bless you Uncle Walt
THe older I get, the more I appreciate Walt's philosophy of adults just being children grown up. The sense of wonder that he had and showed so many ways to us makes me want to hold on to my own, and always want to strive for better. Thanks for being awesome, Justin, have a great day!
A very great heartfelt tribute to Walt who touched so many of us thru out the yrs! For me it was every Saturday nite on a small B/W TV watching great adventures & wonderful characters each week & to inspire while entertaining us all as kids! Then Davy Crockett Zorro Swamp Fox & so many more great tales to watch & follow ,but the best part was we got to see Walt himself doing the preview of each episode each week! May he RIP & I am very thankful to Walt as he taught me to use my imagination & it's ok to have dreams!
Something most people don't realize is that Walt knew much hardship, failure, and tragedy in his life. That knowledge made him realize that people needed reminding that even with all the terrible things that life throws at you, that there are equal amounts of beauty, wonder and adventure in this world as well. Sometimes, people need to see that magic to pick them up from a dark place. The ultimate expression of filling that need was the Disney parks. You can't help but get misty-eyed reading the dedication to Disneyland. He knew you needed it, and even said "This land is YOUR land." I don't know anyone else who has brought more happiness and joy into this world than Walt Disney. He is probably the foremost person who you could say this world is a better place for him having been here. Thanks, Walt. Especially for Pirates and Haunted Mansion! :)
I was in gym class in college when the sad news came down about Walt. The girl next to me , through tears, said she thought he couldn't die. As sad as I was, I had to smile at her thinking he was above death. But all these years later I realize she was right. Walt Disney does still live on in every child's smile ( that includes parents and grandparents too cause everyone becomes a child when it comes to anything Disney). The world of wonder.
Thank You for the great tribute of Walt Disney. It is special video for me. Walt Disney was a great visionary and a champion for creativity, imagination and innovation. Great memorial standard for Walt Week. I won't give up like Walt Elias Disney. That is a great lesson. My eyes got sweaty with respect. May have Walt Elias Disney taken a greater rebirth.
Now that was a great way to remember Walt Disney, the way you did going to Disneyland and then to Disney's grave and took a few moments to remember him was really nice.
Justin, that video was truly beautiful. it brought tears, or maybe respectful duck spit, to my eyes. i really want u to know that u have also touched many lives, mine included. Walt and you are two of my personal heroes.
Justin, Justin, Justin. You did it again. One of your best videos yet. This encourages to not only dream but to hold on to dreams and pursue their reality.
Walt Disney is a hero to every one. Mickey Mouse's Dad. Sad sorry i got some thing in my eyes. trying not to cry sorry again. gives a big smile and thinking about all of the Mickey Mouse cartoon. Awesome video Justin Scared.
Thank you so much for taking us on this adventure Justin to remember Walt and his impact on the lives of soooo many. His dream has also helped me through a lot. Thank you for sharing all of your adventures too also has Really really helped me through a lot of hardships this past year.
AWESOME video JUSTIN !!!!!! my best friend was there today and those were the FLOWERS that were on the bench !!!!!!!! remembering a great man !!!!!!!!!
Thanks for this Justin. Just like you, I have never met Walt, but in people like you and me, he is, and always will be, living in our hearts. Thank you for all that you have done for us Walt. You have made many of our darkest days much brighter.
Fantastic dedication! I'm a huge fan of Walt Disney and his work, dreams, and he's inspired me to keep trying when failures arise and know that it does take people to make dreams come true!
Thank you for showing us this. Truly walking in Walt's footsteps - showing us his boyhood home, the site of his first studio in CA and the school named after him, not to mention the original Main Street U.S.A! I had no idea Walt drew his inspiration for Disneyland's Main Street from that. Walt passed 5 years before I was born, but like so many people I was raised on Disney movies and TV such as 'Disney's Wonderful World'. Walt would be proud of you for showing us his life's landmarks. Thanks for posting this!
Justin a tender tribute to the Great Walt Disney. Love the way you incorporated your older videos. The perfect touch ❤ This has got to be one of my favorites so far. 😊
Walt would be so delighted and proud to see the progress that's been made in animation and his company in the last 50 years. His innovative spirit and unwillingness to give up will inspire billions for generations.
Trying to type while my eyes are sweating with respect. Walt's Dreams shaped my life. In a changing world, his creations and spirit has always been with me. The biggest reason I stay alive through my depression, anxiety, and illness is to see another one of his films or parks. Thanks for sharing, Justin. 'Keep Moving Forward.'
Justin, I have only been a subscriber of your channel maybe 3 months, but Ally and you have tugged at my heart and really I just love you two. You are so caring and giving, and so respectful, I'm so glad I found your channel through Jordan the Lion! God bless both you and Ally! 🌼
I sure miss Walt! One of my favorite old TV programs to watch when I was a kid was 'Walt Disney Presents'!! Seems everyone loved Walt and even as a little kid you could sense how proud and happy he was to entertain his viewers and fans!!! Justin....you could be the next Walt Disney!!!
A touching and beautiful tribute to a great man. Your love for this man really shows through your Disney videos. So much so that you likely feel his embrace each time you step inside his parks.
I know this is an older post but my wife & I just saw it. Justin this was some of your best work! Walt Disney has been my hero for as long as I can remember also. I did a term paper in the 8th grade and it opened my eyes to the man, not just the creator of Disneyland. By the end of this video both my wife & I were sobbing! Walt has to be the most underappreciated man in history, as you said, the world would be a very different place today if it weren't for him. Thank you for such a wonderful tribute! RIP Walt
Nice tribute man, Walt's always been a real inspiration to me, he proved thay anything's possible if you're willing to keep on truckin' and roll with the punches that life throws at you. A true American icon. Thanks Justin.
This was beautiful Justin. I started hysterically crying once you drove up to the cemetery and I'm still hysterically crying. Walt's work has given my life purpose and joy. I hope one day I can visit Marceline, the Walt Disney family museum, and Disneyland. He's one of my biggest inspirations and I appreciate all the happiness and inspiration that his legacy left behind. I loved when you said "he's done his duty, he's gone home to sleep well" beautiful
Rarely do I see someone who truly loves Walter Elias Disney as much as I do. He was born just a few years before my grandpa on the same day. He was truly a visionary, a legend and has made himself a part of the family. He was more than just a man who created a park. It all started with a mouse. A pen, a paper and a dream made a man a legacy like very few others could claim. I like to think he is smiling down on us always there to remind us that there’s a great big beautiful tomorrow shining at the end of every day. Thank you for this awesome video.
Thank you Justin. I, too, have always been a huge fan of Walt Disney. I'm from the east coast, and Walt Disney World is my home park and where my curiosity for the man behind the mouse was sparked. I hope to one day go to where it all began. I can't watch any memorial to Walt without getting choked up. This was a beautiful tribute.
I know this is an older video but I watched it for the first time today. It was beautiful. I want you to know that your words inspired me (a random old lady from Michigan) to keep chasing my own seemingly unobtainable dreams. Certainly I’m not alone in that. You are creating something special here. Walt would be proud.
Thank you Justin for the awesome tribute to Walt Disney. It is nice to know that there are other people out there that look up to this man. His work and imagination have helped many people overcome their own adversity, including myself. Thank you for your work, I hope you get to continue it long into the future.
this was beautiful Justin thank you. you even had me crying a bit. like a lot of us were would give anything to meet the man behind the mouse but knowing we can walk in his footsteps at Disneyland makes it that much better. every time I pass under the railroad I get a little misty and the happiness floods me.
Thanks, Justin, that was an amazing, heartfelt vlog. It tugged at the heartstrings and those darn ducks spit in my eye as well. Walt was indeed an amazing man. I am sure he would have been honored to receive such an amazing tribute from you.
Walt was amazing for his imagination and his ability to inspire others to share it and bring it into being. As a wee kidling, he inspired me to take my prized possession, a Big Chief Indian drawing tablet, to sketch and draw constantly. I learned years later that Walt had had the same brand of drawing tablet as a boy from a favorite aunt that began as his first great outlet for his wonderfully developing imagination. Keep being inspired, Justin.
what a wonderful tribute to an amazing man that brought so much magic and joy to the world. I really choked up at his voice over at the end. A great great man.
Thank you for this Justin! I'm been blessed in my life to have visited the US Parks many times, Disney Cruise Line, The Walt Disney Family Museum and Walt's grave! I shed a tear along with you.....
I absolutely love this video. Justin you are an amazing young man. I have major anxiety and your video's have helped me through some really rough times. Disneyland has always been my happy place. Walt was an amazing person and you have shown so many people the history and life of this great man. He never gave up. I lost my youngest son 5 years ago and you remind me so much of him. You are a beautiful person and I send you much love. Maybe when we go to Disneyland in April we will get to see you and beautiful little Alley. Keep positive and just keep doing what your doing.
That was a wonderful tribute video for a great man, who affected so many lives in a positive way, including yours. I enjoy Disney, though I don't have the same connection to him as you do, but I understand where you're coming from. For me, it's Gene Roddenberry who affected my life so profoundly... and saved it, as well.
That was awesome Justin. I feel the exact same way about Walt. Because of you ....we drove by Walts uncles house in L.A. on our Disneyland vacation two weeks ago. I feel Walt truly would feel proud knowing you were doing all this in honor of him. You dedicated a whole UA-cam channel pretty much to inform people about Walt and his theme parks. I remember watching random videos that I would look for on UA-cam about Disneyland years ago and now I realize it was YOU who I was watching ha ha. Thanks for teaching me all about Disney… My favorite thing in the world :-) Walt… Would be proud.
I too took time to think of Walt yesterday; he has always been an inspiration in my life and most people who know me always refer to me as the "Disney expert". His portrait is always looking over my shoulder when I'm on my desktop. To finish off the day, went to see "his" newest franchise movie, Rogue One...
This video just popped up after your latest video. I remember watching it originally, but it hit me just as hard this time. This is a truly touching remembrance. Thanks for the heart and soul you bring to your videos.
Justin, Mr. Disney died just days before we were to return to Disneyland. He had a tradition of riding in the Christmas day parade and I had been looking forward to finally seeing my hero in person. My dad broke the news to me. It felt as if a grandparent had died. Thank you for this tribute.
I don't know how Justin doesn't have a bigger subscriber number because, he's so humble and entertaining with all of his historical knowledge, I binge watch his videos.
I always look forward to you posting this video. I think it's really sweet how much Walt Disney means to you. You made me cry watching this video because of how heartfelt it is. I'm so happy that Walt was such an important part of your life. Thank you Justin!
Beautiful video Justin! I live in Chicago I always like to drive by Walt`s birth home all the time, every time I pass by it makes me smile and think about how huge of an impact Walt has been in my life.

Justin so touching-I met Walt Disney way back in the 1950s at his studio on Burbank-of you ever want to hear the story-let me know

There really isn't a more comforting voice to hear than Walt Disney's.
Thank you for taking us along, Justin. And thank you, Walt, for being a part of the lives of so many.

Thank you so much for making this.
Thank you for being such a sweet man, Justin. I shed a little tear with you.
I too took time to think of Walt yesterday; he has always been an inspiration in my life and most people who know me always refer to me as the "Disney expert". His portrait is always looking over my shoulder when I'm on my desktop. To finish off the day, went to see "his" newest franchise movie, Rogue One...
This was awesome...Even though I have seen all your individual videos, putting it all together was really cool and a great tribute to Walt!
