Miguel is a bitter representation of an audience with specific expectations of what it means to be Spider-Man, not liking Tom Hollands Spider-Man makes total sense for him considering the departure from typical form in his trilogy
@@fckcoleslaw8533 "Audiences with specific expectations"? That really says something. My specific expectation for MCU Spider Man is arresting Jameson after No Way Home. Besides, out of all the Spider Men we see in the Spider Society, isn't there anyone who doesn't let Jameson enact whatever the next phase of his slander super plan is?
That little nerd almost messed up multiple different realities due to his own screw up. Yeah, it worked out in the end and he made a huge sacrifice. But let's not act like what he did wasn't extremely reckless.

Now it seems he has her everywhere since the since she's also in his office at Alchemax as of Symbiote Spider-Man 2099. The theory I and a lot of people hold to is the movie version is modeled after his ex girlfriend Xina Kwan as she's a snarky Asian woman that likes to tease him in a coat resembling one Marilyn Monroe wore, as she's modeled after Marilyn in the original comic (Xina has a tattoo of her.)
7:33 I think the trust Gwen puts in Miguel and Jessica is insane here. Even though she has already seen the two of them angling for the same goal as her. She also had to trust that they followed through with her plan in that scene despite not saying a word of it to them
It does show her and Miguel being on the same wavelength without any verbal communication with the pilots. They could have been a cool team if the movie decided to let us follow them.
So many exceptional things: The music beginning to swell before Gwen left her apt The water color paint of her world. Her balletic swinging The smooth way in which she lands The cuteness of her spider-webs when she webbed the cops The way she poses in ballet form when she landed Miguel running with hands Miguel running as fast as a bike A pregnant Spider A pregnant spider-woman being agile and awesome The way Gwen calculates what to do with the helicopter The funny way the pilots looked when thrown out the chopper in split screen The way the Vulture repopulates his wings with math. The way characters live in their own unique animation
6:47 he says "What a beautiful sight" and you really have to think, for an inventor like him to see how humanity is now of course he'd be in awe of it all; the lights the height to which man has grown beyond their castles. Her spidey-acrobatics are done with a finesse that seems to be lacking in the other Spideys, likely a nod to her being a woman and thus innately more graceful. She almost seems to dance her way through this movie. It's gorgeous. The visuals of this scene combined with the excellent score was a goosebumps moment in the cinema.
I don't think it has anything to do with her being a woman, she's just a good dancer so it makes sense that her web slinging is well choreographed. Pavitr also has a gorgeous web slinging in this movie
I'm a woman and not a day goes by when I don't hit my head against a cabin, or almost slip in the bath, or almost trip while walking on the road, or drop my phone. Trust me, there's nothing 'inherently graceful' about me.

The Manhattan skyline is quite literally the most beautiful thing he's ever seen in his entire life, and his expression "Che meravigliosa bellezza" is confirmation of that.
I have to say I really like this vulture because he’s so creative with his suit and the equipment has makes him really a formidable foe
Yesss! This version of Vulture is more formidable than the MCU counterpart lol
Bro was holding his own against three spidermen with the most advanced thing in his arsenal being greek fire. I wanna know how busted his SpiderMan is
@@Derpzilla-tw2ox he’s pretty much the main villain of his Spider-Man’s story
@Derpzilla-tw2ox His Spider man can probably do similar stuff as this vulture. Lime using hammer space to pull out things like more wens and maybe mechanical stuff because Renaissance. Maybe just have mechanical spider legs or heck sprout cannons from his back idk
@@mariustan9275holy shit you just made me realize how wicked sick his spiderman would be. steampunk-y spiderman WITH hammerspace!
I get that Miguel’s entrance is definitely memorable, but can we talk for a sec about Jess’ e n t r a n c e, like holy spider-fangs.. She left me astonished as well. 5:13
So no one’s gonna talk about how it took 3 advanced Spider-people just to take on a renaissance Vulture?
Edit: and yes, i know this is done for the sake of writing but still
Wonder if the spider person from that dimension uses hammer space too
@@makisbizarreadventure4669 interesting theory but what can he/she do with the hammer-space though, store more webs (assuming the webs are like Tom and Andrew’s)?

i thought that Jess said Mlies want to be a surprise and i was like wait...WHAT??!! then i rewatched then but subtiles then i was like ohhhh
@@eliottdeletraz97no.
Wait wha-😅
Gwen's theme is so awesome
Her theme's motif is just the sped up Spider-man theme and that makes me so happy
Gotta congratulate Renaissance Vulture for giving trouble to three Spider-People with no powers and only 15th century technology.
I'd argue Hammerspace counts as a power, even if it's more something intrinsic to his world rather than something he personally has.
4:39 Now that's just a show-off
Bro really hit the “rrrRRAGH!” combo 😭
Is Miguel aware that the “little nerd on Earth-19999” gave up his own identity, so a bunch of people who know that he’s Spider-Man wouldn’t come into his universe? If that doesn’t make him Spider-Man, I don’t know what does.
Because he was the reason Peter got into that mess in the first place. The other Jamesons can have fun brainwashing people all they want.
Maybe he doesn't? The whole point of that finale was wiping the minds of anyone in a universe adjacent to their own, and we see Aaron in his Prowler outfit later. Maybe he knows the spell, Strange, and Spider-Man, but nothing else.
@@PanAndScanBuddy But he called Peter "the little nerd". Not Spider Man. If the spell worked on him, he would remember Spider Man, not the "nerd" part, right?
every new character they introduce have such cool unique themes
So much about 6:42 in such a short time
-The dazzled look on Vulture’s face when he sees the beauty of color as the music swells
-The fact that it very much would have been the last thing he ever saw had the helicopter not shown up
-THE FACT THAT MIGUEL WAS ABOUT TO STRAIGHT UP KILL HIM HAD THE HELICOPTER NOT SHOWN UP (would vulture not have any canon events?)
Miguel didn't try to kill him. Just to paralyse him and put in special jail for variants
@@piratsn
While Miguel's bite does paralyze and that's what he primarily uses it for, people forget that he has killed with it too. And honestly the shadowed coloring to his face kinda makes it look like that was what he was about to do.
@@completelypointlesstv That makes no sense. He wants to send him back to avoid breaking canon, not kill him. If he wanted to, he could have sliced Vulture in half at pretty much any point.
@@AllUpOns
That's is why he might want to kill him, to stop the cannon from breaking. He wouldn't have done it earlier because Vulture was contained in the museum.
@@completelypointlesstv I don't recall him ever killing anyone with his venom.
5:02 Is she one of those sentient AI like the TVA's Miss Minutes? She sounds like Miguel's wife the way she annoys him.
She started as a holographic program that is a standard feature to the swanky condo he lives in, was customized by his then girlfriend, and was pretty much just a thing in his house. In the second run, he had her programmed into a watch that allowed him to always have access to her, which was a boon when he got tossed back into the present.
Beware the Spider-Man 2099 theme.🕷💀
7:33 I think the trust Gwen puts in Miguel and Jessica is insane here. Even though she has already seen the two of them angling for the same goal as her. She also had to trust that they followed through with her plan in that scene despite not saying a word of it to them
It does show her and Miguel being on the same wavelength without any verbal communication with the pilots. They could have been a cool team if the movie decided to let us follow them.
So many exceptional things:
The music beginning to swell before Gwen left her apt
The water color paint of her world.
Her balletic swinging
The smooth way in which she lands
The cuteness of her spider-webs when she webbed the cops
The way she poses in ballet form when she landed
Miguel running with hands
Miguel running as fast as a bike
A pregnant Spider
A pregnant spider-woman being agile and awesome
The way Gwen calculates what to do with the helicopter
The funny way the pilots looked when thrown out the chopper in split screen
The way the Vulture repopulates his wings with math.
The way characters live in their own unique animation
I love how fluid, flexible and free Gwen moves
3:14 Miguel didn't disclose his name then immediately revealed his REAL NAME. He could've gotten with just Spider Man 2099 like Spider Woman
I wanna live in Gwen's Aesthetic Emo/Vapourwave universe.
There’s nothing emo about it lmao
Yea I really like the colors of it
Me too
It’s watercolouresque
Good. Go there We don't want you here.
I think my favorite line from the whole movie is how he calls peter the little NERD like he disses him with so much emphasis on the word NERD😭
He sounds like a stereotypical high school jock. "Hey NERRRRD."
"Miguel, you're the smartest guy in the district."
"But I'm cool, so I'm not a nerd!"
6:47 he says "What a beautiful sight" and you really have to think, for an inventor like him to see how humanity is now of course he'd be in awe of it all; the lights the height to which man has grown beyond their castles. It's a small scene for a side villain, but it adds so much depth. In that moment gone is the villain and in his place is a man simply filled with wonder.
I love the way the spideys in this movie save civilians. Its so cool how they swing a save them lol. Even in the part where theyre in mumbattan its so cool! Love this movie so much. Gwen is such a good character
The score when 2099 is fighting Vulture in the sky is one of the best things I have ever heard. Starts at 6:22
4:05 "CALLATE!" XD I love it
I wish they kept the "You're not funny" line in O'Hara's intro
Look out for the Blu-ray version. Miguel did speak this line in this version.
I have the digital copy for apple tv and movies and dvd. And it keeps that line on all those versions.
0:08 That fast 6-note flute-like tune is just a much faster version of the first 6 notes of the classic Spider-man theme. “Spider-maaan, spider-man…”
Yeah, you're absolutely right! It sounds pretty epic if u ask me, but also easy to miss.
Still can’t get over that entrance 2:44
2:47
@@aidencano5410 yeah but the way Miguel grabbed his hands with his glowing webs was cool
6:16 For the first time Miguel has a cute facial expression
Unmasked, I think the part where Miles called the web the Spider-Verse and he gets that befuddled expression is adorable.
6:09 😂😂😂😂😂😂I like when he said no.
The opening might be the best opening of any super hero movie ever.
4:15 Spiderman 2099 swinging backwards, explaining something and saving two people is everything I want to be.
I kinda like how Gwen sees vulture as paper character looking in her world since her world isn’t really like a “paper dimension”
Which i basically call it *dimensional colors*
I can watch Gwen’s elegant move forever
i swear to god everytime i see this movie its like watching a childhood dream come true
This vultures actually a beast lowkey!
I like how in 0:24 to 0:36 the time changes from afternoon to night time with some really fancy transitions and swinging action
Never thought about that, she must’ve being swinging for a while
I love that Gwen "disguises" her voice by doing a low, New York accent when she's talking to people she knows, exactly like Miles does 😂
8:11 I don't know why but I love that little synth at the end. It just sticks with me, giving me a sense of aethereal sci fi wonder.
I love bass effect when Miguel is about to teleport
I love that Gwen just straight up said "Mommy?" without hesitation
Maybe it's because she doesn't have a mom :(
Best action sequence in the movie. Everything is firing on all cylinders and driving at a hundred miles an hour.
Legit an ad came up during this scene 3:50 🤣🤣 perfect cutoff
1:58
I think in his universe he isn’t really a bad guy which is why he can sit in public and drink coffee without those people in the background panicking when they see him.
The thought did cross my mind. And that would be hilarious that he's a normal guy with a bunch of high-tech gear on him. That just happens to REALLY hate modern art.
It's also just comics logic where villains casually stroll around with their villain suit barely concealed until they start doing villain stuff
@@ilyte1 I love the idea of Renaissance Vulture being just a affable engineer in his world that gets so repulsed by modern art that just becomes a supervillain on the spot.
@@apenasmaisumdiogo.7115 Nah, he's still a Vulture. Maybe he's the kind that's hyperfocused on revenge, though, as opposed to dedicated to general chaos and villainy. So he's an okay enough guy so long as you're not on His List.
Yeah he said he is an artist
"Will you adopt me?"
"What?"
"What?"
"GUYS! Can we focus on the big fire breathing threat to time and space please!?"
Yes yes yes yes

I hope they give Miguel redemption in the next movie, he's a genuinely good person trying to help and can funny at times
I wish they kept him as the clapback king he was in the comics. Nobody would have called him Dark Garfield without getting an even nastier put down in return.
6:30
this was just pure art,
the opera, the vultures reaction to the beauty of the city that he would have never been able to see in his lifetime and the tragedy that this was but a short moment
Renaissance Spider-Man can probably do this alone, and it took the three best Spider-People, just to get him to hit his head
Yeah, although they needed to save a bunch of people in the process and there is this whole alternate dimensions thing going on which might have complicated their mission
i love how gwen's swinging style is so elegant and graceful - like she draws inspiration from ballet, gymnastics and figure skating
it really seems like poetry in motion - truly masterful art and animation

I really like this version of the vulture! He’s just got that aesthetic.
7:11 I love how after a moment to consider the danger and the likeliest way of mitigating a disaster, Gwen gets busy eliminating the threat of the falling helicopter.
It’s because she does ballet that’s she is gracefully when she fights… not the fact she’s a girl.
I think that's just Gwen's personal style. Jessica Drew certainly isn't as graceful at the moment, and seems quite happy muscling through things with her bike. It's an interesting display of contrasts.
I think the scene where the vulture looks at the city is extremely powerful
This is so masterpiece... Especially in 7:10 I always cry at this moment,, it is so emocionaly strong
"Will you adopt me?" That got me laughing 🤣
The fact she said it right after Jess mentioned her husband was hot is what got me!
This vulture was pretty op, it took spider-man 2099, spider-gwen and spider-woman with her bike to take em down
