What a nice and easy to understand tutorial. The best I have seen for making square envelopes. I had no idea there are scoring boards, scorers, etc. Really liked the corner rounder idea for tip of flap. Thank you!
The enveloper from we r memory keepers is a God send for those of us that can't figure it out. If I hadn't found that punch board at the beginning of my card making journey I would give cards without envelopes to save my brain.🤪

I noticed you used the same kind of tape to hold the envelope together as you did with the flap. Is it strong enough to hold the envelope together in the mail yet easy enough for the receiver to open it without ruining the envelope?
Lilac470, a 3 1/2 x 5 is the size of the small sized postcard, As Gina K. the video instructor mentioned, she is making a 4 1/4" square card/envelope, so this envelope would meet the post office criteria for a regular postage stamp... maybe even a postcard stamp :) Now That Would Be Great! (of course I'd check 1st ) I can't Imagine Wanting or Needing to sending anything smaller through the mail.

It's beautiful, but......you can't mail little square envelopes without paying extra postage. I checked and the minimum size is 3 1//2 x 5". :(
Thank you!! XO You can always slip the whole thing in a regular A2 envelope or use this method for hand delivering. :)

Square paper always seems to be needed for envelopes, despite the size of the card. Is that correct, and if so why is that?
I think because you need so much paper, even if the envelope is a rectangle.
