I’m 73 years old. I figure I have 5,601 days till I turn 90. So I really need to rock the learning curve. I’ve made 2 journals and I gifted them to my daughter. I’m becoming a regular of Amazon every Monday. I’ve been been binge watching since June. Thank you for sharing.
Sure would like a video tour of your whole work space. I sold my crafts, paintings/sewing, upholstery, gallery shows, calligraphy, pottery while a PTA-Scout Mom. When 9 th child started first grade started first grade I started back to college. 4 years for BAFA in Art Studio
You are awesome love your sense of humor you’re so funny 😂.. but you’re so loving with your husband.. I’m 86 and don’t have my husband..and when I hear someone being so sweet and loveing makes my heart glow!!
You are so fun to have coffee with. What a cute envelope. My 9 year old grandson came out for the weekend and showed me some oragami he had learned. I’m going to make him an envelope. He loves crafting with me. This will be perfect for him. Thank you for your great directions ❤❤
I agree, her personality is great..this tutorial was a joy to watch and listen to,she explained what she was doing without that "talking down to" tone that some people tend to have when making tutorial videos..this looked very easy and I think I might try it..I'm not into junk journals but I could make some of these cute little envelopes and gift them to people that are into junk journaling..also,this would be something easy I could do to keep my hands flexible as I have rheumatoid arthritis and I'm looking for simple things I can do to keep my hands and fingers from getting too stiff..a very well done video 😊
I know you did this 2 years ago, but I loved this craft. I needed small envelopes so what sold me on this design was the cute bird beak. You did a great job showing how to do this project. I have made 6 of them. Thanks.
This is my Favourite envelope by far.....Thanks from Australia. To those starting on making journals....it took me two years of practice and mistakes :)
Still i hurricane Laura, have electricity, a little water, no bathroom privileges and no internet( mobile something. But 💘 watching you. These envelopes are just adorable. I made 3 with you, hope I remember howto do them.
Oh goodness I enjoyed this so much ! Had fun making these cute little envelopes. I stuffed them with goodies and gave them to nurses at my cardiologist office.
I love your videos and the way you chat to yourself. Always come out with a great item. Many thanks for them all but I do spend more time watching than doing !!!
I love this idea! For Christmas, making 7x7 fits a piece of flat wrapped Ghiradelli chocolate perfectly in the envelopes. Going to make some Advent calendars.
Well, I clearly am not in the fast lane! Where have I been? This cute little envelope just snuck right past me!! This is soooo cute, Pam! Thank you for always being here to learn new tricks from! Erica❤
I love this! The beak made me giggle! I'm a total bird myself and have raised birds my whole life. I saw that open hungry baby bird mouth even before you called it a beak. Those are hungry little envelopes!
I love this and so easy. I loved my first completed little cutie. I used a brown paper bag. I figured the paper bag can be decorated any way I want. Most likely I will use my stamps. I tried a litter bigger one, a 9x9. Nine by nine seemed to be a better size for me. I found your video 2 yrs after you created it. I am just now after a few years of other fun projects will be making my first wedding journal and of course began searching for embellishment ideas. Since finding your you I have watched several if not many of your video's and love them all. I enjoy your upbeat nature and you get right to it. This video was great, easy, and quick to make. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi Pam. Happy Labor Day. It was a very nice weekend. I love love love these little envelopes. They can be decorated in so many ways. Glad the you found this so that you could pass it on to us. Stay happy and be safe. ❣️❣️❣️
Pam that is the coolest envelope folding I have ever seen! I love this project, and will definitely give this a try. I like the closure for the envelope! Thanks for the tutorial! ~Janet in Canada
Just love watching your tutorials. I never know what you're going to say. Always so entertaining. But most of all I love the ease of the making what you have demonstrated. Can't wait to get started. Have a great and blessed day ❤️.
Pam, I have a playlist called “stuff to keep” and I’ve got a lot of your stuff in it. I am just getting started with junk journaling. I’ve been gathering supplies for a while, but due to “reasons” I haven’t been able to start any big projects. So I’ve been working on making things that I can put into a journal when I finally have one going. I’m finding a lot of those kinds of ideas by watching your videos. So I’m getting to have a pretty good stash for when I really get going here. So thanks for all the cool ideas you come up with!
Thank you. I love these! As you say totally reckless abandonment…well that’s me. I am not about measuring at all, so these envelopes work quite well for me. Very cute!!
Pam, i am absolutely nuts about your videos. You are the number 1 of my youtube video choices to watch. Thank you for talking with all of us like you are right in our houses. Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE all your crafts you show us. Love barb.
Great idea...I had to pause the video and pop out 6 of them. Great idea for this huge 8 1/2 x 11 inch thin paper pad...Another had to have...lol. Thank You
I love the way you talk to yourself I do the same. 😄 I like how you explain the demonstration. I’m glad I came across your project. I look forward to your others. Thankyou
I agree with you about the journey of making journals. One thing that I believe I’ve heard you say is “if it comes out wrong, remember it’s just paper”. Not to negate he art side, or sound shallow, but it does help to know I’m not investing tons of $$ on a hobby it may takes years to “get good at”, and I love being able ro use what others may have thrown away or recycled as junk. Ps I love your videos and I’ve learned so much! Thanks for the effort you put in sharing your talent gift with others this way.
These are So sweet. I love them. They look easy to make My thanks to Melody Wilson on Pintrest I love what you said about how we all progress with time and experience. In the beginning its always trial and error. I remember trying to put in a zipper into a dress that had a pleated cumberbund at the waist. My mom was out of state with her mom and I was at a friend's. I put that zipper in three times and it just wouldn't lat right. Finally I had to put it aside and wait for mom do it when she returned home. I got the next one right
Oh this was fun... did them along with you... just like you were here in my craft room. Thin paper for sure. Lovely to add to my plain journals to jazz them up. Thanks!!!!
Hi. I love everything about your presentation and little envelopes. I watched 3 times because it is just fabulous. Couldn't sleep tonight, so excited about trying it. Finally I got up and made 8 of them. Wow--such fun!
