I think we have all gone through this stage , I now UNDERSTAND where he is going with this album and musically and aesthetically BEAUTIFUL! Listen to BABY BOY such a soulful song , he is able to do something that almost NO artist could do. Mind you he is a writer , comedian , producer and everything else. For him to even have the time to work on this proves he is a genius! Not wasting away hating on others music instead making MUSIC that is original in our day and age. Not doing it for the money clearly on both albums but having genuine fun creating not pressure to drop a single to get a couple million cause the lifestyle has you spending tons of money.
The album catches you off guard but after you listen to it a couple times you can really start to see the absolute genius of it. Excellent album by Gambino. Hoping he does some rap in the future, but I'm still satisfied either way!

Mieshia Dyches Speeding Bullet 2 heaven wasn't good. All it had was very basic grunge nirvana-esque instrumentals (which were fantastic) but not a whole lot of vocal substance, and a whole lot of repetitiveness and he didn't take too many risks and was very fucking annoying at times, not too much replay value, and a pain in the ass to dive into.
I haven't listened to this album too much but nothing is appealing and leaves me craving more. I hope it grows on me.

Nirvana-esque things can't really be bad. Cudi sang and played his soul out talking about dealing with some real shit. How can anyone hate on that. It might not be someone's cup of tea, but you gotta respect that. Also, anyone who doesn't like that album probably doesn't like Nirvana which makes their musical taste suspect.
The fact that he poured his soul into a body of music and thats all that he could get out is extremely sad. SB2H was a disaster and it may be my lack of creative openness, but I am extremely disappointed with it nonetheless. It is not good music and I truly do not believe anyone can listen to it happily and feel like they've gained knowledge or at least some higher mindstate afterward.

Not going to lie, I didn't like the song at first, but it grew on me after a couple of listens. Now its one of my favorites.
