    I have planners fasciitis and a hill spur. I told the doctor I'm tired of coming in and you telling me to buy one thing at a time just give me a list of everything to buy. This was one of those items. Along with Hokas shoes and oofos Sandles for around the house. I really appreciate the video I needed to know how to use it

    I'm giving mine another try tonight, but the last 2 or 3 times I've tried, my foot has gone numb. I can't seem to wear it longer than 40 minutes. Also, my foot doesn't lay in the splint flat like hers. I'm not sure why.

    Super helpful! I’ve been trying to go beyond neutral AND I’ve been taking it off in the middle of the night. You also helped me figure out how to keep my heel pressed back with the washcloth idea. I’ll make these adjustments tonight, thank you!!

    I agree w/ the comment below, It's hard for side sleepers. I do like to stretch mine back at least for an hour or 2 before falling asleep b/c the extra stretch is good for the tight faciia. I do not use these tho, I use the ones that are soft more like "socks and velcro". They do the same thing.

    Amazon has some 2 for $25 options that work really well too. I can’t afford the braces you’re showing unfortunately 😢 at least Amazon has cheaper options that changed my life. Went from 10/10 morning pain. Knee buckling from extreme feet pain. 2 nights of wearing cheap Amazon braces and ZERO pain!!! No pain in morning at all!! I did have to wear it fairly loose but kept on all night no problems no discomfort at all as long as my feet are it that perfect position all night I’m telling you it’s 100% a miracle. to go from so much pain to none at all in two nights absolutely amazing too cheap braces for $25 Canadian. Thank you for your video. Such important information.

      @@OrthoEvalPal I was amazed at the result in 2 days. I wish I could afford the fancy one you have here. It would work so much better. But at least I have the cheaper model lol and can make do :) I also want to point out that I’m in no way cured. It just 100% took all morning pain away from those first steps out of bed. I no longer get gasp out in sheer pain. I no longer sometimes fall to the ground to go into the wall beside I’m not ready for that level of pain. Life changing. I also wanted to mention I got some Dr Scholls orthotics for planter fasciitis and it made wild of difference as well. I just wasn’t really getting any better day after day until I brought in the night braces. And infrared treatments on my feet to stimulate repair and also massage on bottoms of feet hurts a lot but helping the healing. But hands down the night braces are the key to actually healing and not just stopping any further damage. Hope that made sense. Looks hilarious I’m late 30s with these feet braces every night but I do not care because gone from 10/10 pain in those first steps to 0 pain. 0 PAIN!! Is nothing short of a miracle to me in 2 days. ❤️

      @@OrthoEvalPal thank you so much for your page. I’m now learning so much from your many videos. I just know I’m in a better place moving forward to get myself better as I continue to learn. Thank you 🙏 what your doing on here directly helps so many people and here in Vancouver Canada 🇨🇦 I’ve struggled to find a doctor to help get rid of the ongoing pain. The level of pain has been intense. Thank you. I also can’t afford physical therapy here and that’s what’s recommended by our GPs so I’ve been left with basic orthotics and feet stretching and massage myself. I’m very thankful for your wealth of knowledge your sharing. Thank you so very much 🙏

      Hi, as soon as I stretch out my knee, my heel moves away from the bottom of the strap and my toes want to bent forward. I have too much pressure under the toes (root of toes). How do we fix this? You did not show the trick with washcloth so it is unclear to me. Btw, this is mostly happening with one foot, other one seems to do better.

    I am a side/stomach sleeper. I cannot keep these on through the night. Not only is my natutal resting position reflective of ballet en pointe toes, but my calves are thick and muscular and on the loosest setting, these want to slide below my calves.
    I also struggle with pain along the two lower strap points when I sleep.
    Any tips?

    • @chellecat247
      @chellecat247 5 місяців тому

      Same thing would happen to me. Just loosen the bottom 2 straps. I keep the bottom 2 straps really loose, because the hard bottom of the splint will keep the foot in the right position. Also, I'm a back sleeper so my suggestion may not work for side and front sleepers.

On another note, I received a wedge with the splint that is identical to the one you were using in the video but not sure how to use the wedge. Can you please let me know if this should be used and how I should use it? Thanks.

      I put a very soft tahirt folded and padded nicely under my foot and it works! I had to play around with it to find what worked. I also wear long socks as it helps protect my skin from rubbing on the splint all night as I move

      Make sure that your foot is not pulled back toward your knee too much. Also, if there is a wedge under the toe area, take that out.

    encouraging people tho to wake up an hour early kinda ruins the whole point of this device though. That's such a huge drawback for a nonmajor problem.

    • @OrthoEvalPal

      The idea is to wake up with it especially if they get right up and walk. I've seen thousands of these and they can be very disabling. Of course it is not the only treatment they should have.
