The Aussies are some REAL fabricators... I mean WoW ! What excellent craftsmanship. I have built a couple choppers in my day and everyone has their own idea of what a bike should look like.
Meaning l love Scottys. bike but choppers and huve tires and OCC clown bikes are an era gone by and lm happy . I think stock configuration RoadKing Sportster iron or Streetrods are beautiful needing nothing
For those who don’t live in Australia, the 2 black and white birds at the start of the Australian build are called Magpies. And if you happen to walk under a tree we’re they have built a nest, they will fly down and rip your eyes out
col bikes true, but the aussie bike was unpainted and had to have perfect body work, the martin bros bike could hide some of their imperfect fab work with body filler, which isnt a bad thing if done the right way
maybe its cause i prefer the old school style of bikes more of the bobber or a bit diffrent style of chopper and dont like the super long or sharp pointed bikes of today. but enland did the best bike by far imo.
I hate the English team because they did nothing. "The biggest event of the build was getting the flames on the wrong gas tank." and he constantly blamed the painter and took no responsibility for himself.
That Aussie 🇦🇺 bike though man! Wow! Beautiful lines on that chopper crafted by amazing Artists and some down to earth guys, who seem like you could crack open a cold one with. The UK Team seemed super arrogant for someone who builds some pretty average looking bikes. I wouldn’t even want that bike, even if I was given that bike for free. I’d just sell it and buy one of the other two bikes. Nothing was really eye popping or incredibly special about that bike. But like they say _One Man’s Trash Is Another Man’s Treasure_
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, it does. 24:49 Vise grips? I liked his heart warming words his father spoke to him. My father told me to use the right tool for the job. Vise grips and crescent wrenches are not the tools of choice when building a high end bikes
I came across a bike once,it had a see-threw gaz tank(lit with red led)...It looked magical...I hope they keep that Springer front end for another project....!!!!!
havent seen the end yet, but that digger from australia beats the other two on sheer work load by myself...such skill. a real bike builder..pity the crowd voting dont get to see the video first
I like stock configured bikes. Scotty's build looked massaged like a factory custom Tasteful well engineered stunning. All bikes are ok to cool but Scotty's are the best l be seen and is to my liking. Damn lm impressed
I think if people watched these episodes before they voted. The aussies would have won hands down. Their work is 👏 awesome. They actually built a bike. Didn't assemble it
Paul Yaffe ,and The Martin Bros make the UGLIEST choppers around ! Too damn un-maneuverable low, sleek ,and long SMH ! I wouldn't be caught dead riding one lol !
16:28 to 18:42. He wanted to come over himself to make sure the flames is exactly what he was wanting. I keep hearing the word (Professionals) being used. However the wrong tank got painted! 23:43 to 24:13, This guy is mental. No wires should be a little bit snug on a machine that all it does is vibrate! That's how failures happen. Got to love the quote, his bikes don't have safety features like blinkers which adds to the complexity of the wiring. That's what separates the good builders from the bad. Blinkers are not that hard to wire up, maybe to complex for some people. Well if he can't tell the painter what tank is what, he really shouldn't be wiring up blinkers anyway!
If they win or lose doesn't matter.....watching the fabrication styles.....I gotta go with the Aussies......they bloody nailed it......in my humble opinion......Cheers!
I REMEMBER SEEING THIS A FEW YEARS AGO ON TV THEN I COULDNT BELIVE THE AUSSE BOYS DIDNT WIN AND NOW SEEING IT AGIAN THIER BIKE IS SO MUCH BETTER IN EVERY WAY LOOKS AND WORKMAN SHIP ITS A CRIME THEY DIDNT GET THE RECOGNITION THEY DESERV BIKE IS AWSOME
Exile bikes are 10/10 for the vision that they are trying to achieve but as far as customs go they shouldn't be in the same conversation as the other 2 builders. This owner is kinda annoying with all his talk about tough when he was a Sting body double model before Exile and how it takes a real craftsman to lace a wheel when he outsources his paint and 90% of the fabrication on his own assembled build. I have seen Martin paintjobs in person and they are top notch, although not any from 2015. Never heard of the Aussie guys but they are really impressive. With the small bit of metalforming I have done I really like hammer forming around a wooden buck versus a rough shape with a shot bag and then needing an expensive english wheel. The fender rollers are a really cool idea too.
and we swiss put precision in everything WE do....SWISS MADE, dude...(even if there is not much 'swiss made' left, we are still dominating in certain fields....but we all cant deny that china can produce exactly the quality, the customer wants...all a question of price there;-).
i love the first way they were going you can send me the springer front end that needs to be on my frame and hopefully you guys didnt chop it and you can build me the rest of the bike when you guys are done playn around with your ideas im liking the real nastaljic look you guys were on your way doing the first time. no a fence you guys are good.
Every bike Russell builds look the same...Flat black, white flames, red rims and whitewalls...off the shelf parts. Maybe the Aussies can teach him something. They're bike popped!!!!
Forgive me for not knowing his name but the blonde dude on the American team should open his own shop where every bike looks the same. He's obviously against anything outside of the box and shoots down a couple ideas in this episode that really would have made their bike stand out. The springs. The rear fender he didn't like but didn't shoot it down. Dude has no vision. He even admits it at one point when he says a lot of times he's not on board till he sees the finished product and realizes he was wrong. He should be designing roller skates or skate boards and leave the big boy toys to the guys with vision beyond 2 wheels and a gas tank.
Fair bit of aluminium in their build. Beating metal you want to have a dolly of some sort you can have underneath to hit against. The advantage of using timber is you can work it quickly and easily. It is great if you are only doing one part from it or a small number. If you wanted a tool to last longer you'd use steel or cast iron. That said Aussie hardwoods are much stronger and harder than timber like oak and teak.
So the Russel is that bike assembler that the aussies were talking about obviously, the aussies and the Martin bros should of been the only ones in the competition
I've done my sufferin', I'll take the big goofy cushion seat thanks. The pommy bloke after living there for so long has got this weird hybrid accent. And he calls petrol gas. How's Scotty eh? Fuckin' master craftsman.
I've been saying the reason OCC never participated in a bike build-off was that they will have to ride their bikes over 200 miles. I'm not saying their bikes are cheaply made because they're not... Maybe the motors? Is because they're so uncomfortable to ride. The rigged style they build their bikes is not good for long-distance riding.
As someone not from the US, The UK or Australia I´m sitting here thinking: " World Biker Build Off" ????? ........... Hmmmmm...... Anglosphere biker build off,- nothing more. Not much world about it.
The Aussies are some REAL fabricators... I mean WoW ! What excellent craftsmanship. I have built a couple choppers in my day and everyone has their own idea of what a bike should look like.

Scottys bike would look good today to where this era in bikes is long gone and not missed by many

THATS THE DAMN TRUTH!!!!! @richardbarr6814
For those who don’t live in Australia, the 2 black and white birds at the start of the Australian build are called Magpies. And if you happen to walk under a tree we’re they have built a nest, they will fly down and rip your eyes out
Oh you mean Heckyl and Jeckyl
They’ll tip your eyes out and go after your family mate
Arrogant Englishman
I'm sure I measured it right/ I told him to paint that tank/It wasn't me that was the reason for our failure!
Pommy bastard.
But was he right?
If its about BIke BUILDING, the Aussies win period!!!!! They fabricated every inch of that bike!!!!!
Indeed
They said we are a bunch of criminals considering America has had how many shootings ??
@larry ballard why not smelt the metals while they're at it 😂
They build the frame, gas tank, and exhaust. Not any of the drive train, controls, etc.
They just covered a frame
Aussie dude did some amazing work!
This episode was great - builders are all interesting, and there was no continual faux heavy metal guitar riffs playing over the soundtrack.
aussie bike no filler and the workmanship..no wonder joe had cover his bike in filler his welds are shocking!!

col bikes true, but the aussie bike was unpainted and had to have perfect body work, the martin bros bike could hide some of their imperfect fab work with body filler, which isnt a bad thing if done the right way
I think the Australia 🇦🇺 vision looks the best. I like the hammer method.
maybe its cause i prefer the old school style of bikes more of the bobber or a bit diffrent style of chopper and dont like the super long or sharp pointed bikes of today. but enland did the best bike by far imo.
The springer front end was dope!!
No it definitely was not...
Martin bros. Are crazy ! I love that frontEnd!
I hate the English team because they did nothing. "The biggest event of the build was getting the flames on the wrong gas tank." and he constantly blamed the painter and took no responsibility for himself.
I agree with you on the idea
😂 that's how Russel always was. Maybe he's different nowadays.
Vncnwsmkq!to f?,,h!tyrd🚦
👍👍He is just a bike assembler, not a bike builder,
@@arikiatailow4736 and he's the only. One still in business jaja
I LOVE the curved springer and long look on Joes bike
Too bad they didn't keep it
He's fab and paint work. He does amazing things with paint.
I loved that front end..It was badassery and innovative
That English dudes exhaust pipe fabrication was an abomination
It's nice that Harry Potter has found work advising Scotty.
That replica knuckle head is the shit! I love it! :)
Martin Bros bike is scabby as hell! shabby craftsmanship....
That Aussie 🇦🇺 bike though man!

They didn't build or fabricate it they should have been disqualified they just used premade parts
@@samuelwhite2562 For real? That's messed up then.
Aussies an American’s true Champions! English guy just assembled his bike!!!
i personally think that front end looks sweet, as long as it will perform safely... it goes with the flow of the bike for sure.....
Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, it does. 24:49 Vise grips? I liked his heart warming words his father spoke to him. My father told me to use the right tool for the job. Vise grips and crescent wrenches are not the tools of choice when building a high end bikes
How some of these guys manage to paint such perfect lines by hand is beyond me.. The only word to describe the level of skill is "wow!".
I came across a bike once,it had a see-threw gaz tank(lit with red led)...It looked magical...I hope they keep that Springer front end for another project....!!!!!

I appreciate the craftsmanship of team USA and Australia but in my humble opinion, the UK teams bike looks the best to me
so you like the off the shelf bike with no craft involved, lol. As far as a bobber goes they are perfect though.
All the builders are awesome. And so is the Comraderie
Where are they now? Russell is selling used KIA in Deleuth.
They're all still in business.
I like stock configured bikes. Scotty's build looked massaged like a factory custom

Australia builder Scott was hands down best custom builder imo
If they win or lose doesn't matter.....watching the fabrication styles.....I gotta go with the Aussies......they bloody nailed it......in my humble opinion......Cheers!
Dudes, you should've stayed with a springer - just shorter.
Well I kinda liked it myself.
They should have at least brought bike down off the lift to see how well it set.
turn signals... add to the complexity... thats a new one on me.
That Aussie tin -basher is in a league of his own .
No Clash there with the springer... Come on man.. Oh NO! I disagree with not using that beautiful springer.

Joe Martin just a great bike builder 💪👍💪

Ilike ,,,,message service motorcycle and back engine classic man,,, , ,,, thanks so much harley davids
Best part of the build was the new flag!
I love Joe Martin's bike
Buenos videos .me dieron grandes ideas gracias!
that arch springer look clean .. unique should of flow with it . it gave it another style of chopper
Please tell me the Americans kept the long curved forks! That front end is so badass!!! I'll keep watching now.
Make's me feel embarrassed to be from the uk. Russell Mitchell is not a real bike builder, He is a bike assembler
+riderzinc and a douche.
You wish in your wildest dreams you had the talent to assemble a bike with the look and quality of this one.
exactly all his bikes all pretty much look the same all of them
Anyone can put together a Ikea flatpack, That's basically what russell's bikes are
and we swiss put precision in everything WE do....SWISS MADE, dude...(even if there is not much 'swiss made' left, we are still dominating in certain fields....but we all cant deny that china can produce exactly the quality, the customer wants...all a question of price there;-).
Russel talks a big game for bolting a bike together.

POOR POOR Russel, he has to use his mind to make part's. Instead of using off the shelf part's 🙈🙈🙈🙈 POOR POOR erigent Russell
"The one thing I don't wanna lose is focus of the bike", continues to bring in a half naked woman.
The 90's and early 2000's sure had class...
I'm sure you would prefer this era where men dress as women and shove a big black cucumber up your ass
Love the content liked and subscribed ! Keep em coming !!
I think they made a mistake taking the long springer front end off. It looked better.
Working with aluminum makes fab a lot easier, is that stuff getting treated to T5-T7. Also, with aluminum I worry about corrosion and fatigue cracks.
Exile may have "just assembled" their bike but their parts are perfection and practical. The others are unridable
exile were complete and utter douchebags that took zero responsibility for misinforming a painter and the length of their clutch cables lol
The specifics instruction of the contest were to build something progressive, unusual and unique. It wasn’t about ride ability, per se.
Pom should customise a Vespa or Lambretta. Right up your alley goovna!

dear Aussie bros .. you are real craftsmen ... !
and that doesn't mean the two others are bad, incredible craftsmen/artists/designers they are.. !!
what kind of metal sheets the australian use? it looks thick bt it can bend and mold easy over a carved wood?

Yeah, Every time she looks in the mirror an sees a 12 year boy...lol

Why only 3 builders, surely there's other quality builders all over the world.

There all talented bike builders 🕷️🕷️💀💀🕶️🕶️

Put That Springer back on that bike and you will win..
How did he hide the twist throttle on the black bike? That was awesome
Aussie you don't need bog. American you need bog who is the real craftsmen!
To represent the US they should've picked Indian Larry, Billy Lane or Jesse James. Proper old school builders.
👍👍👍
Indian Larry would have walked away with the trophy!

Hundreds of these customs sitting in garages unrideable. Scrap iron.
nice bikes love them all
The tanks paint job got messed up cause he took them to a “professional”
I live in Daytona Beach and just realized I am talking to the past! over 3 years late on the advice.
Gary....3 year's or 10 Years later Russell is still a LOSER....
Lol
use the tow ropes & suspend the bike in the middle of the crate, that way, if someone drops it, the bike lives.
Funny if they had this today the Aussies or Russell would win because that’s the new style
I couldn’t Sacrifice comfort for look There is a way to do both both comfort and looks. Only thing I don’t agree with is God never gets it wrong
Your boy Russell has been getting a lot wrong and likes to push blame huh. Sure is an artist tho good looking bike he has made

my eyes are bleeding, he is using vise grips on a hydraulic fitting,,,,,,,,,ahhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
