I'm sad that this documentary will most likely never be finished but what has been finished is great. I hope this can be finished one day and even if it never is, it was cool to see what could have been
I still remember back when you recorded all these and it honestly is sad it never got around to completion however what you did get done was fantastic ❣️
I've always wondered what Will's daughter would think of his more intense and mature work. Hopefully she'll like it as much as we all do.
I hope she will one day be following in her father’s footsteps and be like how he did
This is only 10 minutes, and yet this is one of the best documentaries i've ever seen on this platform

Not gonna lie, kind of got chills when Will played HOAA on the acoustic guitar.
We all have our favourite Icons, UA-camrs, artists etc. However it's not every day that we get to get a glimpse into their life and mind like this. I like many of us wish this documentary could be finished, but what we got will be more than good enough. Amazing work Chris.

Would Will ever begin to do videos or songs with his daughter in years to come? And also, if I could, I would donate to this documentary, because this is a very, very underestimated channel and I believe it should have the fame that people like Tommyinnit has. Honestly a very inspiring person, Will is a person who inspired me to just let out the laugh and be yourself around others and friends will form themselves. And that was a recent thing, as 2021 has been my 'devil year'. I have lost so much in the span of the year and at the very end it taught me something, through being with friends, listening to music (including DAGames music) and, I know I am rambling but still.

Damn I didn't know Will was a dad! I kinda wished that this documentary was finished though. It seems it had a lot of potential. But this was good and interesting too! We kinda got to see Will behind the scenes a bit.
Man. Seeing something like this is just so awesome. Having been a fan since 2015, and seeing Will's progress ever since then, going from "Break My Mind" to "Slave To The Factory Line" has been amazing, and seeing all this like, old footage of young Will from around 2016-18, as well as other old videos really arms my heart. I seriously wish this got finished. It would've been amazing to see.
Thank you for this Chris. Ever since I laid ears on the Iris project I’ve been interested in Will’s life. This scrap of the documentary has certainly satisfied a good part of my hunger for knowing him deeper. Merry Christmas everyone and happy new year!
This is so nice! It's cool to take a look into Will's personal life. I didn't even know he had a dog. Fingers crossed that this does eventually get finished, but I'm counting this video as one of my blessings.

This documentary (even though it's not finished) is incredibly inspiring. It's a shame that it might not be completed, but from what there is to display, I absolutely love Will's story and his determination to do what he loves most. I say again, this was extremely inspiring to me because of challenges I am beginning to overcome. Thank you very much everyone who partook in creating this masterpiece and sharing it with everyone 💜
I never knew about some of this stuff. It makes Will's work even more impressive. The guy works so hard to produce some quality stuff while dealing with all of his personal stuff. I hope you continue to create and live a wonderful career.

I was almost brought to tears knowing that at anytime we could have lost Will.
But also the fact that his daughter is beautiful :) (btw don’t take it the wrong way I have two little sisters and I’m a minor)
Congrats for what has been done, it’s nice kind of seeing what’s not finished and then finishing in your head.

Hey will, Merci for all u've done for us. I discovered ur music with break my mind and i didnt make attention on Who you are and what you did else. 2 years later I discovered build ur machine and I saw it's was the same artist than break my mind. At this moment I just did a full listening of all ur song and become a willfan. You gave me so much, when I was depressed "as the light go out" was totally talking to my life. Now I feel better, I became a parent too and I still listen ur music every day. Thx for all of this, I hope this will never end and maybe I will had a chance to see u a day. 🇨🇵

I love Will with all honesty. I know this will sound super cliche but he legit helped me through most of my high school. Small American high school and I was the outcast, but I was always able to take myself out of my world and just enter the songs. I would listen and sing them on my way home from school while it was still summer and I still listen to his songs. I wanted to do a cover of "as the lights go out" for my senior solo because I honestly felt mostly broken. I was just this angry person all the time who just wanted friends and to be given space when needed. I'm in college now and I still dont fully feel like I belong everywhere, but I still lose my self in duets with will during "gospel of dismay" and "build our machine". Will, if you are reading this, thank you so much, and Chris, this would make a fantastic documentary for the channel, but we all do understand if you do not choose to finish and release it. Look after yourselves and keep being the amazing people you are.

Is there any particular reason why it fell through? I have been following it since the iMDb page showed up around 2017-18. I was honestly so excited to see it.
Multiple reasons, many of which I can't go into detail about. Simply put, personal and behind-the-scenes issues on my end.

Wow.. this documentary was really good, good job Chris on making it! And Thank You Will for everything u have done, concerts, music, lets plays, Livestreams, and just being a awesome person in general! (Same to the DACrew including Sofie, Chloe, and of course your daughter Jessica) but i just wanted to do one more thanks to everyone on the DACrew, of course his good friends Dawko, Bazz, Razz, and 8-BitRyan, etc. When Will made As The Lights Go Out, I looked at people differently than what I used to and now watching this documentary made me very inspired to make music plus going to concerts lol i know this is a long paragraph but just know that I will always support this channel! Will has been through a lot. Heart of an artist was by far one of his best, most emotional and personal albums. He puts so much effort into his work and after being through so much bullshit, that deserves to be recognised

This could've been an actual movie, may be my favorite as well if it's out. But you know what, I'm happy I'm able to see it despite it being unfinished. I love this video, and it made me learn Will as a normal human being and not just some figure or an idol even more. Big thanks to Chris for making this, you both are legends ❤

Hi Will and Chris, thanks for posting the unfinished documentary, i know it's not finished but at least it's good, now Chris, if you're reading this, i have a question for you, now i don't know if either you or Will had this and it is the reason why you didn't finish it, but as from what i saw in the youtubers, they had this feeling sometimes in their life and videos, so yeah, was there any lack of motivation through both of the interview recording, and the editing proccess of both of you guys or just one of you, if there is, why, i'm not dissappointed tho, i just kinda had the question in my brain, and it is very common to youtubers to this day and back then, so yeah.
This kind of reminds me of the beetles documentary.
