    If he just punches the OD for solos then no need to worry about a tone sucking noise gate. Just my opinion.

    Not to sound like a prick, but a few things about this rundown...
    1. Why would he have both a guitar with a whammy bar and a digitech whammy pedal for two different songs when he could just use one or the other?
    2. He clearly needs a noise gate in his rig, I mean it must be a pain for them when they finish a song.

      Because with the digitech whammy you can change the octave setting for different sounds. With a whammy bar you are limited.

    I was sad all these years long because of the sudden loss of Darrell but now I'm happy that he doesn't live to see who's using his signature pedals...It was nice of Martin to explain the difference between a standard tremolo bar and a Floyd Rose system, otherwise I'd been so lost (!) I think that I'll also reconsider buying any PRS SEs from now on ;-ı
