This by Far the nicest content I've seen of LA and to tell it like it is... As a Subscriber I tell it like it is also in my honest opinion. Every country has it's flaw and not every city is perfect. I believe the vibe and the amount of things you could do here will make you love the city. If you don't have money, stay where you're at. Unless you can afford the nicer districts, you'll be living in filth and crappy neighborhoods where laws are not enforced. Overall a dump in my opinion.
