Excited for your hair ! Some tips. Use a satin pillowcase to skeep on vs. tying your hair at night. Let it breathe. Also, try leaning forward in the sink to wash your hair. When the blood flows to the scalp in that direction, it helps regrow the front.

@Tami The Creator WOW and that's amazing my beautiful babe, i am so happy for you ! Some tips. Use red light therapy and blue light therapy devices on the scalp for hair growth. Also use an satin pillow case, satin bonnet, use an i restore which is another red light therapy helmet device , use an oxygen therapy device for hair growth, use an high frequency tool device for hair growth, for kinky curly hair use an derma roller, derma stamp tool if your hair is bald or if your hair is cut really short , for kinky curly hair that is one to two inches or longer than use an derma stamp tool. And use an electronica scalp massager brush device, also use a steamer when you're putting your hair mask on your hair and steam while you're doing that, also eat more organic fruits and veggies like burrio bananna, soursop fruits and caca fruits, take some vitamin supplements for your hair growth and also take some hair growth supplements like organic magnesium and organic pumpkin seed oil and organic DHT blocker pills and organic zinc pills and organic vitamin D pills, organic collagen powder and organic sulfur pills, organic MSM crystals, MSM crystals is an sulfur and organic silica like organic horsetail herb extract and organic bamboo extract, when you use MSM crystals and make sure you get the crystal version of MSM not the powder form of the MSM crystals because the MSM powder is filled with other things that has nothing to do with MSM crystals and make sure you take vitamin C with your MSM crystals, never take the MSM crystals alone, don't take the vitamin C from oranges and get it from amla herb and hibiscus flower herb and MSM crystals is very good for hair growth and your internal health as well. Also use an water based scalp serum for hair growth along with your hair growth oil, also when you use an water-based scalp serum on your scalp, that it helps hydrate your scalp and your follicles instead of just using an hair growth oil alone, it's better to use both than just one. And use an hyaluronic acid on your scalp only, that hyaluronic acid is very good for your scalp and your skin, it keeps your scalp very hydrated and also hyaluronic acid helps with hair growth. Also stay away from lot of plastic water bottles and do not drink out of plastic water bottles, sink water and is very bad for our internal health, our body and our hormones, as an woman when you drink plastic water bottles, sink water it is not good for our body, hormones, and it's better to drink filtered water, when are hormones is unbalance and when our hormones is not at a good place, it can also affect our hair growth and it can cause our hair to have problems, so try to drink a lot of filtered water and make sure that you keep your scalp and your hair and your follicles and your internal body hydrated and healthy water, only use glass bottles for your water, and try to detoxify your kidneys and your intestines because i found out when i was doing my research on it and that when you do get rid of a lot of toxins and impurities out of your body, your kidneys that it can make your hair grow and when you don't detoxify your kidneys and your intestines it can cause your hair to have issues growing and that could be another root cause of problem for your hair so definitely go get it checked out if you're dealing with that and also go get blood work done to see what vitamins and micronutrients and minerals that you're lacking and losing in your body and also go to dermatologist to get a biopsy done to see what type of hair / scalp issues and problems that you may be dealing with. Also if you have any thyroid issues that can also affect your hair from growing and so definitely go get it checked and also if your immune system is weak that can also affect your hair growing and when you have too much free radicals in your body, that can also affect your hair from growing and when your body is has too much inflammation in the body, it can go into your scalp and it can cause your hair problems and when you have ringworm yest and candice yeast, it can cause your hair from not growing as well. Also when you strengthen your gut lining and your gut it really helps with hair growth and also it helps with absorbing most of the nutrients in your body which is very important and when you have bad gut lining and bad gut, it can really affect your hair growth and that we need to strengthen our gut because when you have too much bad bacteria in your gut it does not help you to be able to absorb all the nutrients in your body which is not good. Also use organic sea moss and organic irish moss and organic bladderwrack for hair growth, use organic aloe vera juice on your scalp and take it internally to help with hair growth, use fresh fruits on your scalp like aloe vera and dragon fruit and raspberry because it helps with hair growth and do it while steaming your scalp at the same time when it’s your wash day, only use it only on your scalp, only use organic hair and scalp care products. Also make sure that you get your trims regularly so you don't get any split ends which split ends can cause breakage and breakage can cause hair fall, hair fall can cause hair loss, make sure that you do your protein treatments and that our hair is made out of protein and that hair has keratin in it and the best protein treatment you can use on your hair is an holarized oats protein treatment. Also make sure when you are washing your hair you use an pre poo oil and an scalp scrub to help get rid of all of the dirt and oil and other things that could be in your scalp, also after that use an cleanser, an scalp detoxifier shampoo, also if you're going to do an hair mask on your wash day make sure that you use an hair mask in between your washes so make sure that you shampoo then put your hair mask and leave your hair mask for 50 minutes up to 1 hour in your hair and then steam while you put the hair mask in your hair and then after that condition your hair and detangle. Also use an ayurvedic herbs hair growth mask, also look into PRP for hair growth, look into minoxidil oral pills on low dose for hair growth, also look into foam minoxidil and topical minoxidil from the men type for hair growth, use the foam minoxidil in the morning time, then use the topical minoxidil at night and minoxidil only works for only 1 year if your being consisted on using minoxidil. Just to let you know that when you're using any heat on your hair, make sure that you do an protein treatment first and then add in an heat protectant on your hair when you use an blow dryer on your hair, so you won't get any heat damage, and when you do use an blow dry on your hair make sure that you put it on cold setting on low heat and make sure that the blow dryer has an cold setting and low heat on it, also make sure that you do a lot of scalp massages, that scalp massages helps with hair growth, that it also helps with blood flow, circulation in your scalp. Also definitely buy an invest in a satin scrunchies and do not use those black rubber bands with the metal piece in them and ones without them because it can cause breakage and split ends in our hair and that also get and invest in a follicle stimulator product to help with your edges and your hair to help stimulate blood flow and circulation in your scalp to help to energize and wake up those dead dormant follicles that won't grow, won't wake up, so get an follicle stimulator product for your hair, your edges. Also i forgot to mention to you is stay away from plastic combs, plastic rat tooth combs, plastic wide-tooth combs and plastic brushes because they're not good for our hair texture especially if you have kinky curly hair and it can cause people to have flakes and dandruff and the material out of the product is really cheap and that it can cause breakage and hair fall so it's best to use wooden combs, wooden rat tooth combs, wooden wide combs, wooden brushes, wooden combs, brushes helps our grow. So this is all the info i know so far about hair growth, i'll let you know if i have any more info. Please message me back when you get this message and i hope this info was very helpful for you and let me know if you want to know more about hair growth and sorry for my long text message. Have a blessed day.

Great job sister! I, too, had to do the big chop. NO MORE RELAXERS FOR ME EVER!!! I went from near waistline to complete shave. I know that a lot of people have been making suggestions as to what you should do, but, consistency is the key. You are being consistent. So glad you found the products that work for you. My only comment is, instead of waiting three to four weeks to shampoo your hair, do it at least every two weeks. I shampoo and deep condition mine every week by sitting under a dryer with the conditioner on for 15 to 30 minutes and it makes my hair so shiny and healthy, and my hair has been growing at a rate that family, friends, coworkers cannot believe. So at least shampoo it every 2 weeks consistently. Also, take your fingertips and slowly from your earlobe to your Center and firmly massage your edges firmly, that really works. I love the DOO GRO Extra Light vitamin E formula. You are doing a fantastic job! Continue to do whats working for you. To God be all the praise Glory and Honor.

Agreed! Particularly since your hair is very short and you use lots of leave in products, wash that build-up more frequently. Once a week at least, I would say. I like to ‘top’ or ‘glaze’ my deep conditioner with a great oil before capping and using heat. For me, the difference in softness and shine makes a major difference.
I big chopped this spring and I’ve had to trim weekly. Loving it this short right now. I’ll start allowing regrowth for fall. Best wishes to ALL my sisters REGROWING natural and strong after the big chop. Stay encouraged!! 🙏🏽❤️

And TODAY, the SAME day I’m ready to cut but needed to see another video… YOU uploaded!!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾 your hair looks great and has given me the confidence to just do it. My edges are getting worse.. they look just like yours did. Word to the wise: DO NOT take a chance with braiding your hair after a relaxer. I waited 1 week after, did my own s box braids “loosely”, thinking it would be okay. I have done it before! But something has changed in my body or chemistry or maybe age? Cause it’s the worst mistake ever. I’m suffering the most hair loss I’ve ever had in my life!!

Gurl I’ve been looking at big chop videos for awhile. I’ve grown out my hair past collarbone length but I hate because 70% of it is damaged and it shows when I get certain styles because it’ll be thinner and not as full. I wish I would’ve big chopped during quarantine because my hair would’ve been maybe about 4-5 inches by now. I’m definitely cutting it off so I can feel confident again. Hey Tasha! I saw your comment on my other video as well. I’m not sure what hair style you wear now but I do recommend the headband wig. There are cheaper ones for less than $200. The first one I ever purchased was $175 and 24 inches. I’ve worn it just about every day for 3 months now. It’s so easy to take on and take off, glueless, and the best part is you can take care of your hair underneath. I highly recommend it. I wish you luck in your journey. Braids messed my hair up as well just because I was wearing them too often and for long periods of time. Introducing wigs will be a low maintenance way to help your hair regain its strength. You sound like your getting to really know your hair and that’s so exciting. I started where your at and miss the twa a lil bit lol. A few things that helped me is develop a routine which you have, weekly washes instead of biweekly cause 4c likes moisture, pre-poo( my fav is onion juice because it is full of sulfur which our hair loves, daily and nightly scalp massages( to promote blood flow) finger detangling as opposed to harsh combs (that’ll be a game changer WATCH 😉) natural clay masks and treatments like henna and amla, moisturizing and sealing method and always a heat protectant if a blow dry is going to be used! Monthly protein treatments Lastly the more unnecessary friction on your edges the less they will be encouraged to grow consistently and healthy. 🙌🏾

My dad bald af, I’m 4C, had a receding headline in HS…trash genes😂 grew it back w/ an oil mixture: (6 drops each)
    Amla
    Yang lang
    Peppermint
    Rosemary
    Tea tree
Jamaican black castor & jojoba (as carrier oils)
Nutrients helped a lot too, I use Athletic Greens (AG1) to make sure I get everything/be hydrated (hard to do so w/ lack of potassium).
Applied every 2-3 days after misting w/ water/clove water (could mix the oil w/ the water also). Then shower cap + bonnet for 30 min and scalp massage. After hair grew to 4 inches, 2 strand twist/twist outs for a year (currently 8in). Every 3 weeks, wash/deep condition/ hot oil treatment. 2 weeks of twists, 1 week of twistout (retain more w/o twist outs).
Some essential oils I recommend. Idk bout “doo gro”, but nice results for a few months in. 👏🏾

Doo grow and virgin hair fertilizer worked really great for my hair and scalp.
I did not have much luck with the Mielle rosemary and mint, as soon as I started putting it directly on my hairline and problem scalp areas with a cotton swab, I noticed immediately those areas begin to actually go bald. I couldn't believe how quickly it actually took my hair out. I think it may be too strong, or I may be allergic to it. Also sulfur 8 is an excellent old school remedy for the hair.

I found when I left it out, it got moldy in like 3-4 days. I take off my wig and just spray the cold solution and seal it with my oil.
