we have the same big chop month but because i have 4c hair my hair shrinks so much. i sometimes feel like it’s not growing but i have to remember that shrinkage means health. i do think we’re around the same length though so yay

The spots I got burned badly in are noticeably less dense.
@Arianna Lana in those few parts it's like a "straight" yet textured frizzy mess. At least in some parts it shrinks.

I had relaxers for a long time as well, and I didn’t know that little fact. My hair grows in pretty similar to the way that you described. My strands very fine and I have medium density. The back grows in very fast, I have a patch in the middle that grows in slower and courser than the back, and from ear to ear my hair grows very slow. To encourage faster growth I’ve been doing scalp massages every night with a vibrating scalp massagers with sweet almond and peppermint oil and doing the inversion method, it’s really been helping encourage blood flow to those areas.
This is exactly how my hair grows. Super fine and medium density too. It suuuucks

Aight so boom, I'm a guy ( never relaxed my hair) and I find out the same as you. My hair in the back grow way faster than in the front, to this I would say that maybe our natural oil can reach this part (the back) so this is why it grow faster. Also the back of my head curl anyway while I've got to put more efforts in the front (could just be me but hey lol). Nice video keep it up 👌🏾
Lucas Liber -The front center and the back center of my hair grows faster than the rest 🤨. I love seeing natural hair on men, although I’m low key jealous, because they seem to have an easier time managing it 😂.

What you said about the natural oils is right. The front and the top of your head are the highest parts of your head so the oils produced there drip down to the side and back of your head. That's why you can get lots of built up gunk behind your ears cuz it's a mixture of those oils and dead skin cells if you dont clean it properly

I cut my hair a couple of weeks ago and I have been using the Fenugreek homemade oil which is helping me a lot. I have bald spots that I am trying to cure. I have also been using a natural oil blend to combat the itching. Thank you so much for your knowledge. Are you going to continue to let your hair grow out?

Try blue magic doo groband sulfur 8 I’m almost 5 and I’m here too and I also use pink lotion and cholesterol just started last month and hair is soft like a baby and growing like crazy I went bck to the basis black soap or dollar tree soap carrot or queen Helene cholesterol pink lotion and hair grease went bck to what my mom did and been working wonders sry for long. Hey . Wanted to ask about ur wash and go combo. Does it ever flake? The reviews on this gel on amazon alot of people report flakes. But could be the products they mix with it. Is it always a win for you? The honey curls and mane choice gel
Alwayssss a win. I know a lot of people say that gel flakes but it never flakes for me. As long as I use honey curls first and do it on really wet hair. I’ve tried with other leave-ins and got flakes. This is my elite combo lol.
The hair in my head grows way thicker to than the top . The top my curls are looser and the back is more coiled

Taylor Patterson i don’t really have a set routine. I just wash it when I feel like it needs to be washed lol. I don’t wet it everyday either. Only if I need to but I always layer my products (mentioned in video) to prevent moisture loss

It only works for me if I do it on soaking wet hair + use the honey curls first. Any other way it flakes
