awesome video, i just ordered this exact thing! i'm going to change the keycaps out for another set but otherwise i'm going to use it stock for a while - maybe switch to gateron oil kings if i want to start getting it more thocky, do you have any tips for other mods for thock? I am worried to do tape mod because people say wireless boards with batteries are dangerous with tape mod. If you have any safe mods for thock please let me know!

I’ve seen a couple people do the tape mod on their Q1 pro and haven’t heard of any issues. I really like the keycaps they came with but down the road I definitely want to change out the keycaps to add a different and more custom look. I definitely want to get it more thocky as well lol. I’ll do an update video whenever I do mod it! Thanks again!

I just got a v1 max and for me and my budget it is perfect. The Q1 just doesn't add anything that a person like me who is not an enthusiast and just needs a mechanical keyboard puts a lot of value in. I don't need metal or whatever. My old windows keyboard in a box technically still works and it's like 15years old. It's just old and i don't use window as a daily driver. Very happy with my purchase.
The V1 is an amazing choice as well with some of the same features as the Q1. I don’t regret my decision to go with the Q1 over the V1 but I think it’s great that Keychron provides multiple options across the board. Enjoy your V1! 👍🏾

It’s not too bad but I did get a wrist rest to go with it and it’s been working out just fine
