Wonderful reaction Bob to this masterclass on how to create beauty visually and sonically. She looks like an angel and sounds like an angel in this setting and delivers one of her most heavenly performances. Please treat yourself to her song Lucky from this concert as it is equally as powerful. Looking forward to more Aurora in future reactions!
Oh wow, I just assumed you had seen all of the Nidarosdomen Concert. The entire Concert is without a doubt the best Concert from an artist I've ever seen! Thanks for doing this! 👍
Aurora said when she wrote this, she was going through a phase where she was only seeing all the bad things in the world, and she wrote this song to get it out of her system. This was about seeing the world again through a child's eyes, where they don't see all that stuff. A return to innocence, I suppose. When she sings, "please don't leave me here" at the end, I think that's what she's referencing, to keep some of that childlike innocence and optimism. I truly think this is one of the best concerts ever recorded. From Aurora's performance herself, to that of her backing band, the orchestra and the choir, to the way it was shot and mixed and lit and everything else. It is a complete work of art all the way around. Absolute perfection to my eyes and ears. Everyone involved should feel proud that they were a part of this. Oh, and Aurora's family was in the crowd, so that's cool too. Imagine how proud they must have been.
Absolutely stunning performance, like this whole concert. Even if there are several songs that have another version (mainly acoustic ones) I like even more, I have to say that every time I watch a song from this concert, I'm completely mesmerized from beginning to end. Anyway great reaction to this amazing artist.🙂👍
This is the most mesmerizing concert ever, she is art personified. Saw her one year ago in San Diego, it was awesome and I am hoping she will come back to the states again someday in the not to distant future. San Diego was a bit of a drive, but doable. Anyway, I love all of her work, she is so extremely talented and just a beautiful human being. Thanks for the lovely reaction to my favorite artist.
Hi Bob, good to see you're finally back to Aurora. As usual great reaction! Lucky from this very same concert is another masterpiece that you should react to
Thanks!! I know, I know. I really have to do more songs from AURORA. The funny thing is though, the more artists I react to, the more that people request. Oh, I miss the old days when I only new a few artists! Ha.
From this particular concert, Check out "Lucky". Her best performances ever! For another Norway son this week try Sondre Lerche "Alone in the night" (bonus: featuring... Tadadada... Aurora. Magical.)
Her voice - the way she carries the higher notes, then dipping down to the lower notes, is so breathtaking. ❤️ It is like floating, just witnessing her performance.
That's a great way to describe it, Gabriele! I'm definitely going to be doing more reactions to this concert. I'll probably end up doing all of them. Just so incredibly good! Thanks "again" for the listen.
Great reaction Bob! This is one of my favorites from Aurora. Yes, the acoustics are phenominal, someone said that the tail there is 7 seconds long. I think the NRK sound team did an exeptional job with this concert, a male choir all with their own microphone, a churh organ with 9.900 pipes, her band and the famous 'Soloists of Trondheim' ensemble, it's a lot of sound to handle and mix.
I can see why this was one of your favorites. Absolutely beautiful. Can't wait to hear more from this concert. It's the setting, the sound, the visuals....everything.
Hello again, Bob 🙂 Way cool that you're doing a Norway week 2 🔥🔥🔥 This is probably my favorite performance by her, ahead of "Lucky" from the same concert. And yes, this whole concert is EXTREMELY beautiful. If I were you, I would react to the whole thing😁 I'm looking forward to what your next choices will be this week. Wednesday May 17th is our national day btw. The way we celebrate that day is known all over the world. Try to go to a few Norwegian newspapers or something and have a look at some of the pictures at least. VG with the dot no is an OK choice for instance. Take care, Buddy! Love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥
Yay, finally back with Aurora🤗😍 This is one of my favourite songs and performances by her (I feel I say that a lot lol) This is an important song for her💕 Fun fact: This whole song was played in the series “The 100”, in a sad scene of course If you haven’t checked out the Norwegian band/duo Highasakite I highly recommend you to “Samurai Sword” acoustic version 💕
@@lillm6874 Thank you M, I checked it out and the scene totally broke my heart :(. It's so horrible seeing their bodies all stacked together. The poor lives that has been taken away from the young teens.
So…. If u haven’t done them: Wardruna ft Aurora- Helvegen Sondre Lerche ft Aurora - Alone in the night There u go. Aurora covered for 3 out of 7 days 🥳😬👌🏻
If ur doing Norway week u simply must react to "Lavender and Heaven" by iris. It's SUCH a perfect song. And Aurora and Iris are good friends! Aurora said that song L&H is one of her favorite songs of all time, so I checked it out, and it's brilliant...
@@ModernLifeForThe70sMind 😲 that would be super cool! I promise u won't regret it. Also, the music video is gorgeous. Once u see the music video it'll make sense why Aurora is such a big fan of it. 😁 I'll be staying tuned no matter what tho...love ur channel!
Love Aurora! You may have her on your list but I'll suggest Susanne Sundfor 'Alyosha' from her new album. It is so beautiful and the video shows her getting married as well. Cheers:) ua-cam.com/video/FYLoNtbWWpk/v-deo.html
