Thank you for the honest review. There's so much boardgame media to consume but so many of them are just Hype Machines camouflaged as friendly honest normal gamers. We need channels like yours to maintain integrity. I 100% would've fallen for the hype of this game had I not played it in person. I agree with your viewpoints. Thanks again.
Nice review, looking forward to this one, I think it would be a good fit with my current group (light-medium games) and at the same time, not boring for me. My primary concern about the "gimmick" of the game is how long the pages and binder will last, as my experience from school was binder rings will wear out and not close properly if opened over and over, while the holes in the pages will tear from turning the pages many times. Probably too soon to tell, though. Thanks for another great video!
I have played it 5 times, and enjoyed the game. I agree that it does not have a ton variability, and there is next to no interaction (which is why I love the Chronicle, it offers some unknown variability). I wonder about the longevity of the game. 5 plays feels pretty good.
It looks really interesting in the play-through I watched, but I do wish that they included some kind of public objectives or interactive element with the tracks, and some more variety (maybe some variability in the tracks, cost to write pages, etc). Still might pick it up one day, because it does seem fun.
Played 2 games, no interaction, no variability, they needed pages/actions that could take off cards off peoples display, or slow down or disrupt opponents, ie, this card cost double pen/page, once its on there display you have little to no say on how you can disrupt your opponent, which is quite a shame really, the theme is flat out irrelevant to the pages and the theme, it should of been more mage/fantasy approach or industrial revolutionary, i dunno. 6/10 i agree with you guys, nice review
Thanks for the review.
You two are so fun to watch. Thank you for reviewing this game. I really like learning rule books. The added info Makes game play more immersive.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed the review 🤩

Like you I think I prefer their heavier games. Thank you for the review!
I enjoyed this, but I absolutely have other Board & Dice games I like better!
How often are you adding or removing pages in the game? If it's a lot, then the binder component seems like a really annoying gimmick
Pretty often, but I didn’t think it was problematic at all!
You really don't remove pages. As for adding pages, you will likely add somewhere around 5-8 pages per book over the game.
