he hard fact is that as a secular Muslim male living in the UK, I noticed and observed the attitude of a typical Muslim men is not good as non-Muslim men, As a result Muslim women find typical Muslim men's behavior & attitude undesirable and rather marry a non-Muslim men. Just an example, I met a young Canadian Pakistani woman who visited London and she wanted to find a white convert male, rather than marry a Pakistani man!
So we have to understand what's wrong with Muslim men? yes they pray five times and fast during Ramadan but that doesn't make them good human beings. We have to become good human beings first, which is not emphasized much in Islam but too much emphasis is placed on obligatory ritual prayers, which emboldens Muslim men that he on the right path to heaven and earning rewards, but living in a western society Muslim women have more choice of partners, whose quality and attitude is compared to Muslim men
A muslim can be a true muslim if he becomes a good human being.
In islam, it is highly emphasized to become a good human being. You should read Qur'an.

I honestly hear your theory, but what makes me disagree with your theory is the context of the choice of words and how they were used. He stated what Allah Azzawajal stated about marriage, but the list he gave WAS in reference to what you said, but those on the list were what he himself deems as the lowest because of the combination of Slave, Black, or Ugly....The Qur'an mentions NOTHING about ugly, so that's his own class. That's how he feels, and it just so happened to show in his free speech.
Whose norms are considered after Allah has decided and revealed a matter to its contrary. Bias opinions should not be mixed or interpolate into our Islam.

This make much more sense. The only scholars that uses the scripture to answer. So the Quran says that NEITHER a MAN or WOMAN can marry a non-Muslim. You have some people that think a man can marry a non-Muslim but that verse is clear cut and Zakir explained it. God clearly states that they have to be believers of GOD. No one that associates partners with God or idol worshippers.

I was told that as long as you marry a person of the book i.e christian or jew, then its allowed. Conversion to islam is not necessary as long as they are believers of the 1 of the 3 holy books.

Only mens are allowed to marry a woman people of the book and not women because if she marries him , she have to live in his house, have to follow his culture and moreover the childrens will be influenced by the non Muslim father, family and relatives than her mother and it cannot happen in Muslim man place.

If he does, that doesnt mean she has to give up her culture or religion and everything is dictated by the man now. This isnt 1902. People cooperate and share cultures and ideas and raise their children in a dual cultural and religious way.

Follow the ones of most importance, if you aren’t very practicing and work your way up to doing/following the rest. For example, my friend never prayed and never ate halal. He started to establish his prayers, then slowly he started to cut off music, then he started to change everything.
