Building a Volkswagen Inspired Mini Bike in 11 Minutes

- It has all been building to this! The (actual) finale episode to the volkspod minibike build.
This build has been so fun and so popular i couldn't end it on the last episode.
I decided to take some of your suggestions and put a predator 212cc engine on it. Along with some other details light a battery to run the lights, white wall tires, a tail light, new handlebars, and a chain tensioner.
I will probably end up making some more modifications as time goes on. and ill most likely be posting those to my instagram.

- Hmmm - I'd _love_ to see a tiny mini trailer hitch, and then a tiny teardrop trailer (in keeping with the size of the bike of course!) The shape would compliment the bike bodywork. Heck, it may even be big enough to store a helmet when yer finished! LOL. I have got a suggestion , built another seat on the side with same VW fender style to make it cooler

If I didn't know better I would swear you are my Grandson. That's the kind of stuff I built in the 60's and 70's. I took a lot of criticism for some of my crazy ideas back then. But they were right on par with yours. Keep it up. I"m still building stuff.... The Pontoon Boat is what brought me here, and the Jet Ski is something I've been trying to get my youngest Grandson interested in building here in my shop in Texas. I even picked up a 400cc Burgman 3 weeks ago for the project.
One bit of advice, throw away the HF Pipe Bender and get a JD2'ed tubing bender. If you were closer I'd let you come out here and use mine.

I think the easiest add on that would improve your overall safety, would be a horn. Just a 'meep meep' sound so cars can know
you are there. Great work on this project and I look forward to your next one!

Now that you have chopped up 2 good VW fenders, you should make a fibreglass mould from the body and make them/sell them with instructions... VW Minibike Kit! - WINNING!!!

Beautiful job ! You repurposed some scrap VW bug fenders to create a great retro style scooter . The VW decal and white wall tires really were great finishing touches & the sea foam green paint are perfect . If you could get it to hit 30mph and attach directionals to it I garuntee you could start a company selling that bike as it definitely has mass appeal. Keep up the great creative work

this thing is screaming for some old school, scroll type, pinstriping.....and something tells me you will grab a brush and teach yourself how to do it in about 2 hours and then you will pin stripe it yourself...amazing talent!

This moto scooter is absolute amazing and as I see, not so expensive and easy to build for a person with the right knowledge.

Gets on a factory-engineered Minibike...Helmet. Gets on a Minibike that was chopped, heavily modified, untested, and re-welded back together on a milk crate...No Helmet! Great build!

this looks really cool, the only downside i see may be the fact that the chassi itself might be a bit too large in the middle for the legs but I'm not sure. Anyways, it looks really like something VW would build, in that regard its flawless.
