I did on Indonesia train many times from Jakarta to Surabaya, Bandung, Jogja. It is clean all the way from the car, canteen and station. They are numero uno in service.
Today, Indian tourists visiting Indonesia are in fourth place, shifting China.
The order is Singapore, Malaysia, Australia, India and China.
Bali is the main destination for Indian tourists, because Bali is a Hindu Island.

17:24 that's illegal! this is not the first time i've seen Indian passenger do this kinda thing. previously i've seen Indian passenger even open the train door while the train is running! that's crazy! don't do that again cause if the train staff find out, or if there's someone reporting you, then you'll be kicked out in the nearby station and you'll be banned from using the train service for some time.

10 years ago the Indonesian train system is more bad and worse than India train and railways system, but Thanks to our Transport Minister at that time Ignasius Jonan, he with all bold movement can transform Indonesian Train system under 15 years. At that time is was unusual for the President choosing professional for Minister potion because commonly also politicians would be put at that position, im glad our president choose professional instead.

you can try Whoosh, high speed train with 350 speed km. and you can try luxury train, sleeper train, and panoramic train in Indonesia. i think u will amaze. Not only that, buses in Indonesia are also very modern and luxurious.
Looks like trains in Indonesia are all premium services. Clean stations and tracks. No garbage. Looks good yaar. And I think they are narrow guage trains. How's the stability? Is there lot of wobbling inside the train?
FYI, yes Indonesia train mostly use narrow gauge 1,067 mm same as Japan train except shinkansen track and for stability so far so good not a lot wobbling inside train at max operational speed 120km/h actually it can be 160km/h but for safety reason it's forbidden

In our country after 2014 our Railways is improving, We got proper trains set like Vande Bharat trains which is semi high speed train and we are going to get High Speed Japanese Shinkansen E5 trains.
Our 510+ Railway Stations are going to be revamped and our track Upgrading work along will safety system are in Installation process.
In next 10 years, Indian Railways will be completely changed.

You must have been traveling on a Sunday, each city in Indonesia has a car free day on Sunday morning where the entire city comes for walk or running as a community
So fyi currently only local that able to use face recognition boarding, and for all foreigners still have to do the manual boarding by showing the tickets and their passport. Because the Face recognition boarding only recognised the local ID that already integrated into Indonesian national system, so foreigners (obviously doesn't have Indonesian ID) are not yet able to do the face recognition
But foreigners with KITAS can do with recognition face detection system.

In the future i suggest you take the argo wilis panoramic train, i tried it and it was worth it. Even though it was 1.25 million rupiah (From Kertosono to Bandung) i still recommend it if you like sightseeing. Plus you get free drinks and you get a free lunch and a welcome snack once you go in the train.
Cannot say Indonesian railway is advanced than Indian railways because Indonesia don't have vande Bharat express like trains (semi high speed trains)(and i m not talking about HSR of Indonesia) even their railway is not electrified yet. But the good thing about Indonesia is their railway stations are much cleaner than Indian railways stations, i think after some years the railway station of India will be also clean and more advanced than Indonesian railway station because about 1200 indian railways station are in under redevelopment.

If you want see electrified rail, u can see in Metro Jakarta its span more than 250 km long.
I have been in India recently in 2023, i have tried vande bharat. I think, Vande bharat is like normal train in Indonesia , we call it “Argo train”. Max operate of Argo train is 120 Km/h, but in next few years (2-5 years) it will be faster about 160-180 km/h (after restoration) and become Semi high speed train.
Vande Bharat train, Although electrified, I got delayed 45 minutes to departed 😁😁😁. I got shock, because it’s rare happen in Indonesia. Mostly Indonesian trains are on time n i think i left out my train journey 🤣🤣 CMIIW more than half of electrified railways in India built by British Era before 1945, is it right ? 🙏🙏🙏
Why Indonesia train Station is not too crowd, because since 2011 Only ticketed passengers can enter main platform & we have banned all hawkers to enter station. It was very different when I entered to New Delhi railway station. All people (non ticked & hawkers) can enter freely to railway station.

@@dhiorizqialim4102 iya bro, mereka mungkin belum pernah ke Indonesia, jadi cuman asal klaim aja. Elektrektrifikasi rel kereta mereka kebanyakan warisan dari British 🇬🇧 dibangun sebelum 1945.
Walaupun relnya udah elektrifikasi tapi Intercity train (KAJJ) disana sering sekali DELAY, sepertinya hal yg lumrah kalau delay disana, it's worst 😅 saya kira saya yg ketinggalan kereta, tapi ternyata emang delay hampir 1 jam, kalau masalah KAJJ kereta kita jauh lebih bagus kok. Disana semua orang bebas bisa masuk ke stasiun, mulai dari pedagang asongan, pengantar, penumpang bertiket maupun yg gak punya tiket. Jadi stasiunnya agak kotor n kurang terawat, it's so dirty 😅 sangat beda dengan stasiun di Indonesia.
Tapi ada 1 hal yg saya akui untuk metro India lebih bagus sedikit, Metro disana semacam LRT gitu udah nyebar di tiap² hampir ibukota negara bagian (states) New Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Mumbai, Hyderabad, dll udah punya metro.
Indonesia harus bisa nambah di Kota-kota besar seperti Surabaya, Medan, Bandung, Semarang, Makassar, dll kalau mau menyamai India.
