For addressing insect issues In PV, my wife utilizes a unique type of chalkboard chalk to draw lines in front of all outdoor entrances. Remarkably, no insect dares to cross these lines, which I found quite astonishing. Thanks
Tell your parents to get purse cinnamon essential oil. Apply it along window frames, along doorways around the floors and frames, internal and external. Ants and spiders, as well as some other insects, hate it. Works for us in MN.
Loooooved the vibes on this video! Puerto cafe used to be my favorite cafe, cold brew shots there are 👌🏻. By the way, as a Mexican I can tell you that cockroaches in PV/Jalisco are on a different level, they're bigger and they FLY. While I was living in PV I had many encounters with them and I'm sure the neighbors knew because I wouldn't stop screaming as I find them disgusting and scary 😂. One good tip is to get drain covers and put them on during the night, especially during hot season! And yes, all visitors must ve careful with the tides in PV as you just said, they are not same twice. Sometimes there are flags by the beach indicating if its good to go in or not, but ad usual the best way to know is if theres people in 😅 although its always good to stare at the waves first and try to "read" the tide. Great video guys, saludos! ❤
Hey Marc: What the heck! You guys are coming out with a video almost twice a week it seems. OMG your suggestions for the easily offended was great! Some good tips. Thanks for another great video.
many times when you cross over the bridge Uber won't pick you up there. I have a friend you is Uber there, and the taxi drivers harness them there. If really want Uber, go right when you go out door of airport, walk out of airport, then you can order an Uber, and they will come. Maybe a 10 minute walk
Ya it's best to avoid calling an uber to an are with a high concentration of taxi's although you can look up the price on Uber and use it to negotiate a ride with a taxi. Thanks for sharing!
We have just agreed on a trip to P.V. in the first week of December. We plan to stay at Villa del Palmar which is located between Playa Flamingos and Los Tules beach. It would be great to meet the family! My wife's brother-in-law came to our wedding in Nuevo Vallarta last December. He didn't get a chance to get into town , the Malecon or Pipis. Since the three of us are all over 65 we will go to Pipis!!!!
That's awesome! Such a fun time of year to come to PV :) You'll be right near one of our favourites Playa Del Holi. Yes we could try and meet up please reach out to us via email :)
Hola!. Congratulations in having your parents in town, have they moved to Mexico?, I hope that's the case, so you guys can enjoy more of your family. How they like PV, so far?. Saludos ✌️
Tienes razón! Hay mucha gente que viene aquí que no quiere estar con Mexicanos y no quieren aprender la cultura. Les encantan margaritas del happy hour y la comida “mexicana” muy cara. Es triste!!! Thank you and no they didnt move here! They came for 2 months and they did the same last year (apparently they like the cold because they keep going back lol). They like PV but they preferred when we were closer to the action in 5D which is understandable! Thank you for watching and commenting 😊
I'm offended that there wasn't anything offensive in the video after your disclaimer jajaja... nice videos, looking forward to my 2nd trip to PV for dia de los muertos
Hey guys how long did it take you to learn Spanish on mind let I’m really having a tough time f Grasping it and retaining it practicing daily an hour or two on various sites like Duolingo etc. I know the words and can read it easier than I can speak it. Conversations they are not really good at teaching o. Those websites just was wondering how you did it. You are much younger than me so there is that lol I’m pretty sure I could not hold a conversation we are planning on getting g each other the earbud translators that you reviewed but with all the noise in Mexico I doubt they will work in the markets and stuff where it is noisy. Any info or tips you can give me or us on that I think is paramount to almost anything else we need to do to move there. I know it takes time but we are willing to put in the effort just don’t want to waste money on apps that don’t work. Or we can grasp. Not always the apps fault! lol my wife Lori is grasping it much better as she has taken Spanish several times for healthcare as she has been a nurse for over 35 yrs but is retired now so we really think to live a great life there and be able to be with the lovely people we really need to grasp the language we live to laugh and make people laugh but a lot will get lost in translation and we do not ever want to offend anyone. Have you ever contemplating teaching people like me conversational Spanish as you guys seem to be great with conversing with shop owners and coffee places can’t wait to try oh croissant! For sure that chic almond croissant is outta this world.
Hello :) thank you for your comment. I wouldn't say we are fluent but we are intermediate speakers - forever learning! You are right it is very hard and get's harder as we get older. Duolingo is good for words but unfortunately it is not much help in the real world. My best advice would be to start writing down important words and sentences you will need on a daily basis and practice them and also write down follow up questions they may be asking. If you can take private or semi private lessons, even better!!! I know a few people that have taken group classes and have learned a lot. I think the translator earbuds or translators in general can be somewhat of a crutch because we become dependant on them which takes away from actually learning the words.
@@Morelifediaries thank you. I've been watching a lot of you're guys videos to get a good lay of the land. I've been once before but only as a cruise destination
We are 'hooked ' , (especially me) on this group, ARCANO, and would love to meet them . We are from the US, East Coast. A chance to make an old guy happy.
Hi Marc/Kathy, I had a very good feeling you might be able to represent our search. I would say they are more 'Pop', than anything. They do all sorts of songs from the 80s,90s till current. They are definitely ' not boring' . It is two sisters, Erika & SARA VICTORIA, along with their brother, Vic, on keyboards. Their videos indicate a last name of, "del Real" Pam and I never did Facebook or Twitter, as we always thought it to be potentially harmful (if not used how it was originally intended). We know there is an upside advantage though. We do UA-cam and email, & phone. Mind you we are 71 & 67 respectfully. Wish I could email you my playlist , if I knew how. You could plug in ARCANO for a search. They have 100s of videos. Specifically, I have a Playlist "Arcano- Sara Victoria. You will see why she is my favorite. BEAUTIFUL & talented. They seem to always do their videos in PV, on beaches, rooftops, open areas, etc. You should be able to recognize some landmarks. I searched for an email address on you website, but couldn't find it. I thought you might have a phone contact.
I just returned from PV!!! ❤🌊 -Take the bus to Sayulita -The hike to Las Animas is NOT for people who are scared of heights😮 the water taxi rescued me at Colomitos beach. -Eat the tuna appetizer at El Pichon at Las Animas as an entree 🤯 -Let’s Pho in Zona Romantic is great!

Haha that was the joke - people find offense in things that aren’t offensive these days 😂
Vos vidéos sont toujours super intéressants... Merci
Merci beaucoup!!! As-tu des conseilles a partagé?
@@Morelifediaries Probablement ! LOVE YOU ! xoxo
Mexicans we don’t get easily offended, we are mentally strong , i live in 4 different countries and now I’m in canada I have to have my pinzas with me
It’s funny because Mexicans definitely don’t - but certain hyper sensitive groups get offended when they think Mexicans should be offended 😂
Tip everyone who helps you. They need the money more than you do, and it's good karma!;
Definitely 💯
Which Camera and Computer do you use for creating your content?
Canon M50 (I don’t like it), Mac book pro, Final Cut Pro for editing

I lived in PV in 1991 and to me ahorita meant soon, maybe!
*soon/maybe lol
It's the same with Puerto Rican. "Ahorita" does NOT mean "now"; it means "in a little bit." - "Ahora" means "now"
That’s good to know 🙌🏼
Ahora is now and ahorita is in a bit 😂
Or never lol
Sounds just like PHX
🤩
I'm moving there in 1 week, next Saturday. Santa Maria area can't wait
Very cool ❤️ we were just there today at the market - you’ll love it!!! Best of luck with your move 😊

I can't stand the cockroaches in mexico, it's an irrational fear, but they're like little animals. So gross.
