I LOVE the ribbed ones. The spiky ones look like underwater mines, lol.
😂 I thought so too. Call the 💣 squad 😂.
😆 I see it haha
Or barrel cactus.
loved the "big ass ball." All of them turned out wonderful as always. Yet, really, the "big ass ball" is still my favorite. You are an awesome artist.
i give you a lot of credit, brother. It's not easy to stick with something over many days. You seem to find the process engaging and joyful. Thank you from a 70y.o. potter.
I am a 69 year old potter. He does beautiful work. These look so amazing.
The smaller ones with nobs are reminding me of old WW2 mines used by various naval blockades
You could use powdered iron oxide from a ceramics supply company. For black you can buy China ink and for silver, use fire resistant aluminum metallic paint
My favorite is the giant Rusty orb. It turned out so great
I’m obsessed with the big rusty orb!
Jorge, The process to get the end result was no joke. You must love what you do as an artisan because this takes stamina. Thank you for inspiring my creativity.
Wow I love these orbs especially the big rusted one. The dots give them a lot of character. I can see how much fun you are having. I think I could truly get addicted to making these. 😊😊😊😊
They’re little viruses! And as a virologist I love them 😍
i made a paper mache four foot dragon. it took four months i loved goiNG out to the studio EVERYDAY. gave it to my son HE put it upstairs at the farm. THE MICE ATE IT. LOL😮
The large orb turned out amazing !!! They’re all beautiful!!!❤
Got to say that I absolutely love the big rust and the small roped spheres. Can you imagine shipping those big boys to the UK 😅😅😅
I like them all! Very nice!
Two thoughts:
1. Get a snap on spayer for your spray paint/sealer (your fingers will thank you)
2. Go to the cake decorating section in your local store and try to find a plastic icing spreader. Sort of like a large plastic scraper. They are a little flexible and might help make applying the cement easier than the metal trowel.
I hope you try it!
Awesome tips! Also, when I have to apply paint in a large area, and natural variations in tone are acceptable, I'll put the diluted water-based paint in one of the pump canister lawn sprayers with the wand.
Love this idea!
My FAVORITE DIY … Jorge you’re truly so talented and the best High End designs I’ve seen thus far. I’m not trying to be mean, but it seems that the other DIY creators “High End” creations look a little cheap and tacky. Don’t get me wrong, they’re talented beyond belief… But you… YOU ARE A TRUE ARTIST 🤍🖼️
They are awesome. I can't believe how beautiful every one of these turned out. So much time and work, but clearly worth the effort.
Absolutely beautiful, they all look like old iron relics of war.
Perfect ... one of the best DIY videos all year
A few of those Orbs look like those bumble ball toys.
Love this!!! You can put a round piece of wood on top of the big one and make a side table.
Giant rusty ribbed ball is my favorite...gorgeous.
Gorgeous orbs!, out of my price range right now, but I think, given the work involved, you've got the price about right.
Best of luck with sales
“Keep the ball moist”. Was my favorite sentence.
The small ones with the "dots" look like the bombs in the oldschool game Minesweeper 😂
Love these DIYs and all the items in your store are Amazing !
Love all of them, I wondered what an easier way would be to pull this off. I deliver mail & one of my customers has a bunch of large balls in her flower beds. I’ve priced them at At Home and they are expensive. I’m very crafty & I know I can make just about anything so this will be my next project
It’s so hard to pick a favorite.
They all turned out so beautifully!
But I have to admit that I love the giant rusty orb the most.
They are so fabulous!
🩷🤩
Oh my gosh!! I bumped into your channel today and am so impressed with your work Jorge! I love concrete diy’s but don’t have time to make them. However, I am definitely enjoying your work. My next stop is your store. Beautiful work and such a talent and imagination you were blessed with. Keep up the amazing art!!
Love your imagination and talent. The rust look on the largest orb is amazing!
I’m in with the rust orb as the favorite. The orbs with the knobs - I couldn’t at first put my finger on what they reminded me of and then a 💡moment! They look like underwater explosive mines from the good old days. 😂 I don’t think I would have made the connection if they were light colored though.
Love the color combination of the dark, light and rust orbs all together. Wonderful job!
A creative mind always improvises! ( I hate following recipes and patterns!) I think that those orbs would make beautiful metallic pumpkins, maybe add a metallic stem and leaf or two? Keep up the good work, hope you get rich!
They look great! Turning one into a water feature would look nice too.
I like the rusted look but shining it up eould make it look so good too
Second time I've watched your work , it's amazing . I just love them . Your very imaginative!!❤
These turned out amazing!! 🥰 I love all your cement projects but i think these are my favorite now. The rust one really was a trust the process type of project, but the end result was 🤌🤌
The rust and water mine looking ones were my favorite, they'd look great in a garden to add a sculptural element 😊
BTW if you do plan to sell more in the future, it would be awesome to have some smaller ones for table sculptures, maybe about 12-18" sizes!
Oh my word I LOVE them!!!!!!! 😍
The large rust orb really turned out fantastic. They all look great but my fave has to be the big rusty one, followed closely by the bumpy ones. That doesn't mean I don't like the little ribbed ones. They fantastic too.
Your orbs have interior access and can be marketed as fountains. Beautiful.
This is so beautiful! The rust one is a bomb!
Those orbs are awesome. Love the rusty one. Great job.
Gorgeous!!! I love how the rust one turned out. Well done on all the stunning goodies for sale
As I was about to go to your channel to check if you had uploaded a new video, I coincidentally saw your new video on my homepage. What a coincidence!
You do beautiful work!!!!! Love the rusty orb!!!!!😊
Beautiful , received my cement tray, looks beautiful on my coffee table ❤
I absolutely love watching your platform. You’re so talented. I don’t know if you’re self taught or if you’ve gone to school to get your background, but you are very talented and in my eyes, you are an artist and that is coming from one artist who went to school for many years to another artist I really like your work. I like your quality in the imagination that you use and you’re not afraid to try new things. Great job.
Enjoyed the creation of the Orbs. ALL of them are beautiful. The black one with the nubs instantly reminded me of the mines that are in the sea/ocean.
You could do paint these to look like cement cactus 🌵. Love your work and creativity.
These are gorgeous and the rust came out stunning 😍
the little ones in your lawn painting them reminded me of pumpkins. You could have some fun making elegant ones.
I’ve binged so many of your videos, you have such a refreshing approach to art and home diy! 👏🏽
That was me a week ago. I love his channel.
Swooooooooooop
Hard to choose . They are very beautiful! ❤😊
Loved the very large orb. The color is perfect. The smaller black one look likes the mines they used in WWII to blow up ships.
Wow! What a craftsman! Good job
Ok, you want to know what it looks like? A war mine that goes in the water. Love it!❤
OMGOSH!! Just love your videos! You cracked me up about people were pissed about you not showing how you removed the yoga ball!!! LOL 😆 LAWTT!! just ask !! 😊 looking forward to more videos.
Love them ALL!! Well done!!😃😃
Your patience is amazing, I don’t know if I can do it, but I sure want to try! They look great! Awesome job! My favorite is the large rusty one!
Reminds me of ancient Mexican ceramic sculpted vases
They turned out fantastic. The black ones look like mines..
If you want a rusted look, use bronze acrylic for the base or charcoal colour and then just add the bronze colour and turquoise in random places with a rag or sponge.
The rust is my fave!
I love them all. My favourite is the large rust effect one. Great work👍
Beautiful!! 😍😍 and looks expencive!!
hola Jorge son todas muy bonitas todas todas pero la que más me gusta son las pequeñas que parecen calabazas muy LINDAS!!!!
I realy like that rusty big one!!!!
I love them all 😳😂❤
When you use your God given talent, the possibilities are endless! Wishing you many blessings on your journey!
These are beautiful! Love the rusty one.
I love the large orb! The color is amazing!!!
Your videos are great! Love all the details and candor! Telling us what works and doesn't work for you makes these so effective. Thank you!!
Wow the rusty one is fabulous, there is ways of you doing the rust and patina effect with a lot cheaper things from around the house, then just go ahead with you reall good sealer ❤
Please tell me more
Really fun sculptures! You could also try chalk paint wax to get different effects. 🎉
I am new to your channel and these are just WOW! I love them. Looks like a lot of work, but the end result is amazing!
So beautiful and stately!! Tons of charm and class. The rust one and saller black minesweeper looking ones actually look metal. The lighter small ones look quiet refined and would go great with brick houses. Realy add so much character that living landscaping does not. Bravo!
Run the hoolahoops under hot water like in the shower. Makes them playable.
You’re so crafty, love it. I am actually obsessed with cement balls.
You are an incredible artist! Thank you so much for sharing! These ideas are fantastic! So luv the ropes on the orbs!
I really like all your orbs, Jorge! My favorites are the ones with ribs. They remind me of big barrel cactuses. I can imagine one painted a grey green like a barrel cactus. That would be fun.
Love, love these orbs! Thank you so much Jorge for your tutorials and your easy going attitude as you take us through the process! They turned out awesome! They were all beautiful!
OMG the rusty one with the ropes is beautiful!!😍
The "dungeon orbs" look like seamines. I'm going to try this.
I love the large rust one.
To ensure moist curing, I cover my concrete projects with a wet Terry towel, the concrete can pull the moisture from it as it cures and allows if to cure to full strength.
Omgoodness, I've been looking for the orbs forever. I love these. ❤❤❤
I have to be honest, I was not sure this was going to work, but it did and it came out good! I really like the ribbed orbs best. Truthfully I was talking to myself as to what I wanted to try when I make one. I have wanted to do this for years and even have the ball blown up in our spare room. I saw a video on people making vases and bowls and they rolled clay into "snakes" or just long pieces of clay and they began to form coils in some really beautiful patterns, and I think that would look great on these orbs. It may take a lot longer to do but if you are doing it for yourself that won't matter. I am excited and can't wait to start! I was wonder how strong they came out when finished. I can just see a neighbor child running over and climbing on mine and breaking them to pieces. I was wondering if you thought it might be a good idea to coat the inside to strengthen them up some? Great job and can't wait to see what you do next!
The smaller orbs with the knob things look like old fashioned sea mines, lol.
I can't wait till you expand your business internationally. I love them all but the big one turned out fantastic!!!
LOVE O R B ARTS FOR GARDENS OR DECOR OR STATEMENT GREAT JOB! ART IS A PROCESS LIKE LIFE ENJOY THE JOURNEY !!!👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Yes! The giant rusty one!
Loved the knobby ones too!!
You did a great job with these. I love your videos and the work that you do! Thank you for sharing your talents with us!!
I've been itching to make a yard globe of some kind. This is amazing! I love the little nubs and the ridges. I would make a normal one and then make a wild Halloween monster one. lol Thank you for sharing!
I love these so much… just moved into a new house , definitely going to try this in the future for my new yard.
I love the largest one! Really gorgeous!
Really enjoyed this. I was a stone carver, in my earlier life, and I love how you embraced the natural stone qualities. I’ll definitely check out your store.
Looking good, especially as a group
Yes! I love your creativity ❤
Love the largest one!
Great job!! I’ve used that rust product on cheap plastic pots that had really good detailing to make them look like classic European garden urns! I love your styles! 👏🏼👏🏼
B4 painting, the big ones remind me of barrel cactus....
The rust cement orb is very cute! I recently made a cement orb with twine and put solar lights around it. I love it and plan on making more, thanks for the video!
