I always thought that you only draw from memory. Thank you for this video. now i know how important referencing is.
Not always from memory sometimes references some time from imagination specially when I have concepts and ideas I need to layout or I want to free draw :)
@@REIQ For YEARS I was under the impression that I should only be able to draw well from memory. So dumb....
@@MrCageCat using reference is highly recommended for artists even the pros do it all time. Unless you’re Kim jung gi and have photographic memory definitely use refs

Oooh I like this type of videos. Maybe add an audio cue when you have a message pop up on screen to remind me to look up at the right time when drawing and that format is killer :D

When drawing those dark lines at the end, why do it with the mechanical pencil in instead of the pencil you used to draw mostly everything?
