@@saganc.4090 no what he’s doing takes more then drawing the same thing over and over again, he’s studied poses for hours and pictures exactly what he wants in his mind, this is a skill that not many artist have.
@@Denis_Who ikr... the searching lines to get the exact shape that i want is sooo messy because i keep scratching over and over again until there's something that i see fit. it's basically my hand doing messy scribbles with my eyes curating it, my brain seemingly doesn't take any part like visualizing whatsoever ha ha.... therefore i always draw the same character with different faces 😂 because i just can't picture how the face looks like 😅
Started drawing again after 10 years hiatus week ago, found this channel 3 hours ago and now I'm one of the first who get to see this video. Nice timing! :D
Dude that's great congratulations, I also been trough a hiatus, mine was 5 or 4 years if I remember, but now I'm getting even better than I was before. But i think what I want to say is keep drawing you might surprise yourself with what you will be able to do.
This was so fun! I love this twist on figure drawing/people watching. It must help quickly learning what shapes or aesthetics catch you eye, and that can inform other areas of design and picture making. I’d thoroughly enjoy seeing more from Bryce, thank you everyone involved in the making of the video ❤️
You CAN‘T BELIEVE how much I love to sketch in a fast way, since I don‘t have much time for a long art session so to say. I discovered your irreplaceable channel with this vid, and I wanna tell you that you really inspire and motivate to become better and try this „remembering certain features of someone / something“. Thanks for everything you do, you incredible person.✨💗
I'm glad that they talked about doing different things with art and changing mediums. I was in a rut for a while because i felt so indecisive on what art I wanted to put out. Eventually, I started seeing what i liked doing and what i prefer doing just like they said. Gathering all these styles and and techniques to use for what I eventually want to start doing
This was incredibly fun to watch! And 100% agree with changing mediums playing around with different mediums is one of the best ways to keep refreshed and always build up that tool belt!
NGL, the 'what would you tell your younger self?' question couldn't have come at a better time. Really needed to hear some words of encouragement the last few days.
I love how this is in real time, you can see every line is so intentional! I really loved watching this very skilled illustrator! Also, I totally resonate with the parents not wanting me to go to art school... So I ended up in architecture school 🤣 definitely not the same thing but I do love the field I ended up in !
This is so random, i just came acrpss his art on reddit, so i had to look him up on instagram and follow him. Right after i browsed through some of his work this video pops up on my feed lol what the heck. Really love his art style, and how simple he makes gouache/watercolor look!
when he talks about seeing things in 3D inside his head and his hands are basically tracing his internal visualization... wow... it must be _THAT_ great to not have aphantasia as an artist 🥺🥺😢😢
Honestly, the best part of the video for me was when Bryce mentioned the "tracing" he does of the mental image he has, cause I've sorta started to get that ability slowly as well, it's hard because someone took a LARGE blur brush to my mental image, but it's such a useful skill to get
Thank you Proko I loved this video and Bryce is so awesome! I have his Hunter Hunter and Cowboy Beebop illustration that I bought from Anime NYC, definitley an inspiration! ❤🔥
I do something similar with my writing if I'll walk into a random small store. I'll scope out every person inside and out and imagine that there's a sudden catastrophe and these are the people I have to survive with for the foreseeable future.
This is so impressive. I like to draw portraits, but i only use tone. There are no lines. I'm almost at the point of photorealism now, but these simple lines are amazing to me.
6:08 This tracing thing he is talking about i can understand. Ive been shifting between doing what he is saying here and actually studying 3D shapes and proportion. I wonder if it would be more enjoyable just doing figuredrawings in mass until it just clicks in the brain like this guy. I wonder if its more effective.
Wow! He's got amazing skill and is also wise as hell! I'd give anything to be able to see what I'm drawing in 3D how he described. I'm sure it comes with hundreds/thousands of hours of practice. Just seems so effortless and rewarding for him.
i goto school for graphic design, I seriously want to learn to draw beet like these and take it to concept art, I've been wanting to draw like this just never knew where to look.
I was wondering like how do you guys on sketch the skeletons or high sketch people I art is not that good even though the good or I tried to do is draw an animal skull I don't know how to draw one I know how to draw a human skull but not a good skull and skeleton 2 don't really know how to draw skeleton
If you just walk by in this comment, can you share your thought if you caught a stranger sketching you? Like whats your honest reaction? How you'll feel about it? And what do you want those artist to know about it.
It makes me feel a little shy, but all warm and fuzzy inside. I don’t really know how to respond, so I’m all like ‘Ahhhh thank youuuu!!!! It looks so good! Thank youuu!’ I like drawing my friends a lot. I get varying responses, but it’s never been bad
Hi promo I hope you are doing very well, thanks for your videos what is helpful. Please may you make a video that talks about how to make a storyboard!! because I don't know how to make a storyboard to Scripture a drawing, please thanks

The confidence he has in every imperfect line and his ability to draw characters from top to bottom without using shapes is inspirational.
Fr i admire him for it
I think he has just gotten to the point where it isn't necessary for him
@@hajimehinata5854 well obviously
It’s amazing how he draws poses from contour drawing and w/o any construction.

Thank you so much 😀
He draws things so smoothly and it's just cool! He already knows where to put the face and doesn't even have to erase anything
it's amazing how he can talk a lot while sketching and remembering the outfit of his subjects. :D
Seeing Bryce kho draw makes me want to go back to doing my crazy art again, it's amazing how he just makes something so hard look easy

This video was so good. Thank you to Bryce and the Proko team. I really needed this one.
OMG I LOVE BRYCE AND THOUGHT HOW UNDERATED HE IS!! GLAD HE GOT SPOTLIGHT HE DESERVES IT!
Bryce Kho is great, wow! Very inspiring advice for anyone.
I recently moved back to drawing traditional more and what they were saying about switching back is really helpful!
What's funny is at 8:06, they're talking about using the undo button, and the cut in the video made it look like he undid a line and redrew it.

Love Bryce’s work! Took his class two years back and learned a lot
The more he draws, the more motivated i get.
I have done the double UNDO tap on my sketch book and going "oh wait, pencils don't UNDO, erasers do"
Really cool to see his watercolour process. I enjoyed this video!!

good good work
Got to meet Bryce once, great guy with beautiful art
Nice! Bryce's Pen style looks very similar to the amazing Jung Gi Kim!
He makes it look so effortless
Why do I watch these when I'm in bed about to sleep, I get the sudden urge to draw now, lol.
Also me and my lady purchased a giant print from Kehasuk the Ranking of kings one that popped up in the video! His prints are beautiful quality
" oh yeh the ducks "
Untitled goose: "so yeh I took it personally"
i love the lineart!
I knew I recognised this style! I LOVE HIS ART 😩😩

Love the way he draws.
Thank you for making my night. This video was so fun.
I bought the pen he’s using last week! This is my sign to sketch strangers as Pokémon trainers…
Hey what pen is It? I love filling he does with so little strokes
this was genuinely so insightful and so wise, thank you for sharing this!! 🥳🥳

Check out his Class 101! I took it a couple of years back and picked up drawing again after 15 years because of it. I'm sure you'll level up!
I drew outside my lineart to check the colorvalue on my backround. which was paper. and i could not "undo" after - so silly.
This isn't sketching in public. This is looking at people for inspiration, then drawing from memory.
Proko is this the BEST or just one exercise that one artist does and a little sit down session with them?
my favorite part was the incidental touhou fanart
love your channel thx for the good content
Look at these ducks these ducks are amazing
I've done the undo gesture when going back to traditional too lol

Random mentions of Yoshitaka Amano brings me joy!
This is sooo sick!!
