I really liked the way you measured for the off set on the 45's by going center to center then putting the fittings on a straight line to get your peice. Forever using that one!
@@johnkrim8377 I knew there was some formula for it just never knew what it was. 45's are not my strong suit lol. I try to avoid them if I can lol. Will be even easier now with that!
You are a master at soldering copper pipe, one can learn a lot by watching you how to do it. The young plumbers brought up using propress don't get a chance to practice much !!
Steve I have done natural gas ,propane and HVACR for years . The gas code comes from Massachusetts and National Fire Protection Association also from Massachusetts. Heads up that old shut off for the gas should be replaced with a ball valve . Wouldn’t want to see a hard working man like you get sued .
Hi Steve, I remember when the Desanko adapters had a lead s/j washer in them , I also save those heavy brass nuts ,clean them up on a wire wheel and there like new again. 👷🏻
When I was a kid I use to make deliveries for my family’s plumbing supply. I remember delivering DWV pipe. I was the happiest kid when they legalized PVC/ABS! LOL
saw a old episode of, "This Old House"on location in San Francisco. They were confused/didn't get it, cause they don't allow any abs/pvc etc there...very strong union there...TOH acted as this was backwards and it seem they thought such a practice had no merit

Its always a job well done by steve! I probably would have cut the copper and used a 1-1/2 pvc/CI x 1-1/2 copper K mission clamp and used a male pvc trap adapter. Then used a tubular brass offset. Im lazy and dont want to bring the torch in if i dont have to. lol
You DA-MAN Steve, great work great out come,I wish you would move to Tennessee to work, you would never run out of work and get to see a real shit show Lol,we got a few guys around they stay swamped .just a idea ,things are much slower here.
Nice job plumbing that sink. She ain’t gonna be no leaka momma. Good quality work. I’d be happy with it in my house. Not sure what to think of the triple sinks.
A lobbyist strikes again. Most of those people haven't a clue. Made sure their industry was given business by law. Just the way it works if there is no common sense involved.
The National Electrical Code we follow in the US, only calls for the incoming metal water line to be used as a grounding electrode system, if it's there. The meter is also jumpered around if it's inside the building. Otherwise, common practice has us bond off the metal pipes. Gas lines are already grounded via the electrically operated connected to same.
I initially thought the same thing, but the ball valves have limiters on closed and open. I'm thinking the tab on the handle wouldn't work flipping it 180 degrees.
As Steve has said if you don't have any leaks that means you're not doing any work also I thought my crystal ball was going to say tomorrow's video would be gas stove hook up but guess what I was wrong
Man, they decided to cheap-out on that light gauge stainless steel sink! Flimsy asf!! lol Quick question: Did you have to come back with copper on that drain because it's a business 'code requirement'? Or could have just cut the entire drain manifold out, used a coupler at the wall and came back with PVC?
PVC can let go suddenly or get weak at the hot temps used in commercial dishwashing. That water, by most health standards has to be at least 130 degrees for the wash/rinse. The final rinse is 195 degrees, on average.
I'm still puzzled a year later y pvc would make code I mean I've got back round in service but have plumb schools, bowling alleys, apartment complex, church's with large kitchens, and fast food/bars/restaurants always in pvc you northerners must have crazy codes
Does not appear a commercial site to me. sinks too shallow and appears a homeowner type faucet. poor quality stainless sink as well. Horrible style range with grates for individual burners instead of one covering the entire range surface. Low water flow shown at faucet. Not a production facility, maybe a catering company. I wonder how it all worked out now a year later.

Another great video! I always use Teflon paste on those tailpiece gaskets, they never seem to seal otherwise for me!
Very professional work Steve. Top-class.
You should make some merch that says," good enough for this neighborhood " when I did flooring the running joke was, cant see it from my house. 🤣
Nice work, Steve. You're the man!
AAAAHHHHHH! Thank you Steve. A nice new plumbing video....just what the Dr Ordered!!!

Soldering is such an art, nice job!
Great job Steve nice work 👌👍
I cant tell you the last time I saw a craftsmen screwdriver that didn't have the tip broken! Just messing with you. Nice job Steve!
Just a question, not a critique. Why didn’t you just eliminate the copper drain and change it to PVC?
Right! WTF, copper drain pipes? Lol! Maybe some weird city code.
It's code for commercial buildings where there're at, it has to be copper
Steve is really working again mama!
Man I love this guy! Savi'n his brass nuts, mama!
beautiful work
What are you driving? A Simi Truck??? Let's get a pic of it.
Congratulations !!! You just got one new subscriber.
Hey got a good game plan I like the way you think Steve
Bend the handles
Requiring all copper is just another way government agencies stick it to business owners.
A lobbyist strikes again. Most of those people haven't a clue. Made sure their industry was given business by law. Just the way it works if there is no common sense involved.
That looked like a fun one Steve
If not Home Depot, where is a good place to get a good faucet? What brand and style do you recommend?
Steve and Ms Molly working again y'all. Even Steve gets leaks too
You make it look so easy
Nice job and video like always
What's your ride? love the sound of that diesel engine working.
Nice work Steve, Next Level.
Don't you find it harder to install faucet with sink already in place?
Do you bring you pup inside on the jobs or leave her outside??
How many miles do you have on your rig?
Job like this would make me glad i got the megapress.
Are you kidding. Love to sweat copper its just heat it draw the soldier in.
Great job Steven
Copper drains... Never seen them before
Great job looking excellent professional
Do you guys in the US ground the pipework and steel sinks?
The National Electrical Code we follow in the US, only calls for the incoming metal water line to be used as a grounding electrode system, if it's there. The meter is also jumpered around if it's inside the building. Otherwise, common practice has us bond off the metal pipes.
Gas lines are already grounded via the electrically operated connected to same.
As more new people find your videos, it’s going to be harder to find long haired chihuahua’s!
You melted the gasket mama!
The handles don't open. Well isn't that special!
I use constants on my 45 offsets, but I’m absolutely insane
Pending on what business sink qualifies as a 3 Bay sink. If not needed middle qualifies as a hand sink. Satisfies health department both ways.
For the ball valve handles, couldn't you just remove the nut on the valve and reposition the handle?
I initially thought the same thing, but the ball valves have limiters on closed and open. I'm thinking the tab on the handle wouldn't work flipping it 180 degrees.
Why two thumbs down ? If you don’t like it don’t watch it, that’s why I don’t do you tube vids
its all part of being on youtube it does not brother me at all ...
steven lavimoniere I’m glad it doesn’t it would drive me to drink !
some ppl kids...forget about it/next
As Steve has said if you don't have any leaks that means you're not doing any work also I thought my crystal ball was going to say tomorrow's video would be gas stove hook up but guess what I was wrong

commercal building has to be copper or castiron no pvc allowed

Hey Steve ! I want to be a plumber mama!
What is advantage of copper over schedule 40?

Anti-tip bracket is nailed to the floor and comes with the stove?
screwed to floor
would it be easy to flip the sink up then do that.
no grease trap on commercial kitchen.
Steve great job was there a trap farther down
This was my comment - no traps and straight into adrain? Not allowed
It has a trap. It's in the video. Underneath the left basin.
Thanks for your reply I'm in the UK and I didn't recognize it as a trap as we only use plastic waste pipes.
If you tried that at a business in a city around here the inflatable rats would appear; especially after cutting the other guy's handles.
Your brazing is impressive!
Syd Syd that’s soldering not brazing
Compared to Brazing Soldering is a walk in the park. I believe that's why people shy away from soldering because they imagine brazing.
I want more semi commercial jobs
Buen trabajo gran video
Friday afternoon job...haha

Lol, crazy

There is the reason why you’re not using PVC???
commercial building need copper or castiron
@@stevenlavimoniere Coppa don't burn! Keep it up coach Steve!
@@mattelderca no but that job would of cost way more. He looks out for his customers. Plus its code. Deerrrrrr
No sink traps and who uses copper pipes for waste these days?
Thanks for your reply. I'm in the UK and all waste is plastic so my original comment was misplaced. I should have checked - sorry
Who the hell buys three bowl sink and doesnt install a garbage disposal???
Someone smart who wants no clogs.
This is commercial. The customer doesn't need one, simple.
Keep America Rollin' Steve! Rona be damned!!
anyone here a plumber in southern ct?
I'd cut all that shit out and band to the copper then replaced with PVC
pvc is not code in this building
Why no comment?
Very bad soldering
