OMG this is a monster of job, so weedy , so time consuming. It must have been very hard. Still watching it but the first bit looks amazing, 1000% better, like a brand new patio. Very similar to the one around a month ago , in terms of weedy I mean, but this still beats it. My OCD hopes that fence it’s green in colour not covered in algae 😂😂😂 but I know you do what the customer wants, I get that. Great work 👏🏼👏🏼☺️

Wow, what a job you could've mowed that brick patio, there was so much grass. I like the picture-in-picture intro. ❤ from 🇨🇦

All I am going to say is, if ever you (or whoever is "keeping the lawn") plans to spread grass seed, or "overseed", cover all the landscape and garden beds as well as bricked areas such as these. I think crab grass preventer is great, but NEVER when I am planning to plant grass seed and never in my veg or flower garden where I plant SEEDS (or hope the plants ARE reseeding themselves.) Notably, the neighbor often has other plans and ideas and while some are naive and self-centered, others adore to ruin your "pride and joy". Eventually you may realize that if "they" have no interest, have no $ to put into their own "landscape" you may STILL be better off than to hand them either seeds or weed killers.
    Have a nice day.

OK, I have to reply to myself to admit that I have this one other thing which always leaves me wondering. I often ADMIRE when those who have paid for fencing, or are replacing fencing, utilize those "cement" base panels. I have NEVER seen them offered in the U.S. I can only surmise that "capitalism" more often LIKES for things to wear out, not be long lasting, so more can be sold OVER AND OVER AND OVER again and most assuredly "can't afford to do it over again" and no longer ABLE to DIY is a nightmare.
I do not know who owns the fences on either side, and who knows about the back fence. But if EITHER side (owner or non-owner) decides to actually use this base as a retaining wall for dirt and piles up against it and to the top, the plot has been totally lost. No longer is the wood being protected and from the dirt/mud run stains, it at least appears that that is going on, on the other side of this fence.
Our city planners THOUGHT that forcing owners to allow extra space to the neighbor's side would allow for a pathway, a clearance for maintenance. Of course, they were totally wrong. Folks heap, plant gigantic trees and shrubs and invasive vines and never remove the "feral" plantings blown from nature or helped by squirrels. No respect for those who were willing to go to the expense; taking for granted the rights to ruin.
Did the fence make them or you a better neighbor??
Just checking my understanding of your understanding of their understanding.
Many times, brick walls are REALLY nice, at least until the mortar crumbles.
