You are the man! I am an apprentice plumber of 1.5 years currently working industrial construction service maintenance company. I watch your videos EVERY DAY after work soaking up all this great knowledge you’re providing. I can’t tell you how thankful I am that I’m able to watch your channel. Huge thanks and much respect from Phoenix ,AZ !
I came here looking for a tutorial and ended up getting schooled and entertained, all the chat is funny. You knew Mr Green lmao...sounds like his Grandson has yet to master the art of plumbing ;-) subscribed!
Too bad Home Depot or someone could not bring you a new faucet at those times when you needed something really quickly. Just thinking. Love your vids. Boston is different from AZ, for sure. I mean the houses and their systems.
You can hear that dishwasher is filling good now. The solenoid valve on them usually has a small screen that will catch debris and particles right where you screw on the adapter. I have seen those solenoid valves calcified to the point where they will drip water when they are de energized when the appliance is off. She’s flowing good now mama!
I love how some customers think that they are the only job you have to do, when I have that type of person and they find me in the right mood I tell them to call someone else and I had a couple of them ask me for recommendations
We'll Im from NE/its fine the way he talks...no nonsense. He say's "Maam" and its not like hes swearing or rude or anything~ And her ...she keeps saying 'Sir' to him. I think you people should be more concerned ettiquette at the dinner table as long as he takes pride in his work~ You know what your gettin' w this guy, period~so its all good~ Go Bruins now!!
Dude this is my favorite new channel to watch now. It's so interesting to see how similar life is for the HVAC/plumbing trade to the electrical trade even though it's a completely different market. For service work, it's usually time and material because by the time you find and fix the problem, you've already spent most of the time. On another note, why do they have so much blockages there? Just terrible water coming into the house? Also, is there anything wrong with using a braided hose instead of the copper tubing? We recently got a dishwasher and the installer said they had to use a new line so he got rid of the copper tube/compression connector and used a braided line instead.
I’ve been in the HVAC trade for some years now and I was told by a co worker it’s all related....didnt believe him......present day...HE WASNt LYIN!!! Lol if you do HVAC you really are all three trades in one!!! Plumber, an electrician and an HVAC mechanic!!!
I think HVAC and plumbing are a lot closer related than electrical since you sweat pipes and such. The comparisons kind of end with electrical once you get beyond sizing up the right size breaker and conductor.
Arie.......It just that depends on what area your referring to...ive worked on new construction garages running wire, using pipe benders to structure conduit just like an electrician would (which sucked by the way) all to wire VFDs, ventilation control for car exhaust. So HVAC mechanics kinda are like super hero’s brotha 😂
Agree, Im hooked on this channel now and learning a lot about plumbing! similar to the electrical trade with respect to labor and dealing with customers.
she's a yapper mama. she only offered water? she should give you a sandwich. and she said the only thing she doesn't like to do is the dishes? it looks like cleaning isn't a favorite either.
I had this same problem at a customers house. It clogged a second time. I wound up putting inline baskets trainers on the 1/2 inch lines going to the sink. No problems since.
gotta love that he puts the new copper supply line not through the old supply hole, but right beside the drain hose in the drain hose hole. Why do it right, when you can do it fast. Any hole is good enough for Steven I guess. Time and material is a sure fire way to NOT get word of mouth business. But if you're the master of the flusher rue type jobs, I guess you don't really care about customers asking for a dishwasher install quote. Not your core business.
It sucks working at people's houses. As a house painter, people expect you to move all their stuff, Keep an eye on the dog or even worse, their kids. By the end of the week, they're saying stuff like, "how can you come into my kids lives then a week later you just leave?" Well I'm finished painting the house, Lady....
I always hand my customers a checklist of things they have to do before I start the job.. If the checklist isn't completed before I start working I charge $100 an hour to complete the checklist for them.. I just finished sheet rocking a garage yesterday.. My original bid was $1500.. The homeowner's didn't want to clean the garage out before I started.. So they paid me another $800 to clean their garage out..
On the original plumbers that came over, do the owners of that plumbing business know that his plumbers are telling customers that the city's pressure is too low?? That's how businesses go out of business.
Love watching your videos Steve! I try to film my service calls from time to time, but you always get those good camera angles. What type of camera stand do you use?
Steve, We don't have the cholesterol problems here on the Big Island of Hawaii so was wondering if that nasty stuff will blow out if the supply line is reversed? Have very little issues with faucets and line thank god... maybe a hard washer, O ring, or packing once in awhile ...
It's a 4.5l twin turbo V6 made by international. They call it a VT275. It's basically a 6.0 Powerstroke with the front two cylinders chopped off with a compound bi-turbo just like the ones that came on the 6.4l Powerstrokes
Damn plumber shall have a stock of typical fittings, such as flex hose. Cupper hose get stuck too and a pain in the ass to work with. This is 2019 for God sake
he tells the customer "your on my list" ??? really? I know you can't just drop everything and cater to their needs, but at least give them some kind of time frame..tomorrow? OK I'll wait next week ..sometime? no thanks, I'll find someone else

Dam i love it when his phone rings and i can listen in on his calls BEST PART sometimes lol
Incidentally, it's illegal in MA. Could get Steve into lots of trouble.
"Calling me three times in a row won't get me there any quicker". "Good way to piss-off the mechanic". Love it. You certainly have the minerals.
I love this guy.

Must be very hard water. No matter what kind of job it is, you get it done Steve. Nice job.
Steve, no doubt that you have best plumbing videos on UA-cam, thanks, for making them.
This lady was trying to save a penny any way she can. Steve has balls the way he is straight up with his customers.
I find your videos to be not only entertaining but educational. I do HVAC so it's cool seeing a real plumber in action
Steve Lav is a REAL workin' man, ya'll
Τέλειες οι επισκευές υδραυλικές κτλ και αυτό είναι το καλύτερο.
nice to see the water flow restored next level mama next level !!!
Great plumbing done at handyman prices... bring that biz to dfw and inflate the cost you can make a killin!
Too bad Home Depot or someone could not bring you a new faucet at those times when you needed something really quickly. Just thinking. Love your vids. Boston is different from AZ, for sure. I mean the houses and their systems.
That tile pattern in the kitchen and bathroom is classic back east 1960s.
i like how steve asks a simple question and customers rant on . keep it short and simple people. dont distract the hired help.
Thanks Steve! Will have to watch in a bit. Morning turned to crap early here, lol.
I love watching another pro work, and the little tips I pick up here and there on the videos. Thanks for posting them! 😊
Your dog is a rock star!
You can hear that dishwasher is filling good now. The solenoid valve on them usually has a small screen that will catch debris and particles right where you screw on the adapter. Damn, I wish you worked where I live. People like you are hard to find 👍
I'm glad you do yoga. You have to be flexible to get in those tight spaces. Good water flow momma !!!!
Steve your dog is so cute😘🤗
Mousetrap up next to the kitchen faucet is a nice touch.
that was below when i was working on faucets . i moved it so i would not get trapped
Not for the mouse. LOL
Well that because the mice like to eat the leftovers off the dishes in the sink. What can you do........
I love how some customers think that they are the only job you have to do, when I have that type of person and they find me in the right mood I tell them to call someone else and I had a couple of them ask me for recommendations
Baby dog is the star of the show mama

New subscriber Steve, just want to say I really enjoy your videos and learned a few things, thank you !

Fair enough. I deal with residential mostly so the only times we cross paths is to install a disconnect or change a breaker!
Agree, Im hooked on this channel now and learning a lot about plumbing! similar to the electrical trade with respect to labor and dealing with customers.

love it
Joe Pol I kinda wanna beat her up is that weird?
She calls Steve "sir" until she gets the bill. After Steve leaves she probably calls him a MFer.
“You don’t want your grandson to fix it like you usually do? !! “ ...,,, beast level lol 😂
Told my wife I need to give her the old flusher Rue
I had this same problem at a customers house. It clogged a second time. I wound up putting inline baskets trainers on the 1/2 inch lines going to the sink. No problems since.
Get after those customers. They know better than to keep calling.
The way you talk to your customers.....LMAO

Hey Steve, what is that blue compound you are using for the pipes connections? Thanks.
nice job. i love how everyone wants their problem fixed but doesn't want to pay. I guess they want you to work for free
Todd T I was dying Steve got balls😂😂
top work steve
Great job Steve. Why don't you have a set of ratcheting open enders? Would make life a little easier my friend, peace.
I started keeping a kitchen faucet on my van.
Lovely dog ....Steve
Our eight Chihuahuas love Baby Dog.
As i always said, looks good from my house
Great videos. My dog looks exactly like yours. Deer Head Chihuaha.
Cholesterol kills faucets~~Steven got a defibrillator >> :)
Defibrillator is for ventricular fibrillation. Stent is the equipment for cholesterol related thing.
You need to work on your customer skills. That's not the way you should be talking to your customers.
That said, I learnt something new again. Thanks
I love your 🐶
😂😂😂

Someone's gotta do the work the imbeciles, simpletons, or cretins can't or won't do themselves.

Where does all that schmeg come from? I have never seen that where I have lived over the years.
what caused the line to be blocked?
What's in the city water?
On the original plumbers that came over, do the owners of that plumbing business know that his plumbers are telling customers that the city's pressure is too low?? That's how businesses go out of business.
The way she kept asking how much things were, You know she shit her pants when he told her the price.
Love watching your videos Steve! I try to film my service calls from time to time, but you always get those good camera angles. What type of camera stand do you use?
Is it possible to flush the faucet out with muriatic acid?
Love this channel
95 bucks for a two handle faucet. Buying materials from a plumber is like buying parts from an auto dealership.
Sure hope they don't cook and drink the water. It's bad water everywhere. Let the city officials drink it.
copper tubing is the only way !
8:54 chooched lol
Alot of pipe cleanng going on mama
Excellent vid Dynamic Duo ... Lol ...
Is it pissin everywhere? Lol
How about cleaning the front of that dishwasher
almost seemed like the plastic dip pipe in the water heater broke up and clogged things
Steve, We don't have the cholesterol problems here on the Big Island of Hawaii so was wondering if that nasty stuff will blow out if the supply line is reversed? Have very little issues with faucets and line thank god... maybe a hard washer, O ring, or packing once in awhile ...
What engine is in your truck
Diesel?
walter f. It is just cant tell when he's driving it sounds almost like a Cummins when its idling almost sounds like a 7.3
Its a twin turbo V6 international engine.
It's a 4.5l twin turbo V6 made by international. They call it a VT275. It's basically a 6.0 Powerstroke with the front two cylinders chopped off with a compound bi-turbo just like the ones that came on the 6.4l Powerstrokes
If I had to get under my kitchen sink it would take an hour to clean out all my collected crap and supplies.
"Thank you very much" ..."ya"
You need a "Check your cholesterol" tshirt
Well at least your real!!
Gundy given, nxt lvl
She's a talker
She has just a bit of a Boston accent.
You seem too fast for a plumber and she's worried about cost for a 3 foot supply line?? I'd ask you to redo my entire house seeing how fast you work!
sounds like you might need some help,, you ever think about gettting some help?
