theres got to be some way to punch through that 29s bracket into the 28s even if its just a lap for qualifying without the draft. ive been at this for about an hour and fastest i got was a 29.113 or around that. thanks for the video.
Thank u brother for the setup this is probably my favorite track on the game , I like the information that u have given us an again thanks for the videos
Damn Red, this setup was fuckin dynamite. Took the tape down 10% cause I don’t like going over 250°F and took the wedge down 5 clicks and it was great. I run 50% races on legend difficulty in career and I got the W today. Didn’t win stage one or two but still ran top 5 top 10 all race. Qualified 14th. Thanks man.
Whatever i do my car always breaks out in corner 4 . I even lowered tire pressure front and back to 19.000 and 48.000 psi. chamber to 2.2 and 1.6. Car is loosing grip after 10 rounds already. Im playing on PC. What should be the problem to get my car steady in out of 2e and 4th corner?
Sorry , other question. How the hell is it possible to keep a red line ( max speed in corners ) ? How do you fix that? Im running your setting`s, driving with a Logitech G29 FFB but still its impossible to stear the full corner with full speed on a red line. Whats the secret. I know the circuits and how to drive into the corner but still ALWAYS have to slow down a bit for not getting into the wall.
I'm having right rear wear. The wear factor drops really fast way before the left front or left rear gets out of the 90's. Can you give me any suggestions
I build all my setups on x4 due to the wear on this game if that tells you anything lol. Don't be scared to run high bumps and rebound on here or ride height. It's a lot different than Heat 3 when it comes to that.
Hey man, make sure all your assist are cut off and set to "expert". Even though they are designed to help stabilize the car they will kill over all speed. Let me know if that dont work. Also if you have discord join mine and we will get you fixed up.
Hey there Red4424... tried the setup but something's still not right. The AI overtakes me completely... can't even get to 176mph when on the longest straigh and almost get down to 169mph after each turn. I get the same issue with or without aids. My controller is ok, inputs are smooth. Any advice?
hmm, I actually had this happen to my wheel last night. Had to unplug and restart and it fixed itself. I would recommend making sure the setup is identical. Make sure the gear is right because something is defiantly off with it.
Thanks for the baseline. I haven't played a NASCAR game since 2004, so I have a question, if you don't mind. Do the tire temps really translate into track performance? And do you try to manage your temps through the setups? I messed with Daytona trying to get my temps ideal and it was a nightmare. Just wondering because I play a lot of F1 and if you're tires get hot, you'll go sliding off the track. Just curious. Appreciate the content.
They do translate into wear but no where near the way F1 deals with it. More of just wearing the tire out quicker versus losing grip then it being able to cool back off.
@@RED4424 thanks for the feedback. A couple more questions, I don't mean tobeat a dead horse, I'm just trying to understand so I can be competitive and get as much out of the car as possible at every track. When you do your setups are, are you making adjustments to the chassis and tire pressure based on the tire temps? I guess what I'm getting at is, do you make your adjustments based on the way the car feels entering and exiting corners? Without regard to temps. Example, let's say the avg tire temps are all over the place, but the car handles good and tire wear seems to be pretty equal, ok?
@@poppydee2087 For the most part yes... and no lol. I basically build my setup around the pre built one and do not touch tires or cambers until im 100% done with the car. Then in the last fine tuning part I will start adjusting the cambers and air to match with the tire temp and wear. I always want my RR to wear about 2% more than the RF. I can dictate how I angle the corners on the right front to keep the wear around 1% of each other. Example is if the RR is wearing 10% more than the RF and getting loose, Ill run it in as hard as I can on the bottom and let it push up to make the car stable again. Alot of the long run now is about to consistency of the handling versus the actual time. Let off earlier roll the corners etc and you will pull away.
I have trouble staying consistent like my car goes really slow during practice and qualifying and when I'm racing I can't really keep up the pace. I'll pass a couple cars on the turns and then when I get off the turns it's like the car is having trouble getting up to speed and I lose 3 or 4 spots and always end up finishing in about 32nd. Do you have any idea of why it's doing and what I can do to fix it would really appreciate it
@@mikegrey5663 Yeah...that's the issue right there. They design the game to make it impossible to win in a 3 star ride. The only way you can win with a 3 star is if you set the difficulty to easy or play fuel mileage strategy perfectly at some tracks.
Hey man I really appreciate the baseline of your setup. I am in a league with no setups, so I’m only to make certain adjustments. I like where I have set the wedge and grille tape, but I can’t seem to make my tires last an entire fuel run with the PSI in the video at 3x tire wear. Do you have any PSI suggestions? What happens if you go higher or lower? Thank you!
I suggest going with a lower preset, maybe 3, then take the wedge to 46 or a little lower. Usually the lower presets help with the long run. On heat 3 a lot of preset guys I know all ran preset 1 and then bottomed the wedge out and raise the air pressures.
RED4424 so when you say lower, go with a looser preset? Also, what’s the guideline for tire pressures in terms of tight/loose and of the tires wear faster or slower? Just want to confirm and keep up the good work, I’ll be watching!
@@Tsbeast10 not really a guide line as much as pay really close attention to the tire temp and adjust off of that. I would go into a quick race and test the lower presets over the longer run. Usually the further the spread in the front tire air pressure the better the turn.
@@Tsbeast10 when building customs I usually leave the air and the cambers alone until the very end. And they're usually within a pound or so of being exactly where they need to be

Lol, had to wipe the controller out the other day with this setup and show someone I can run 29.1s with it. Are you running a controller or a wheel? Also are you running in quick race with all assist off? That is usually a common problem.
A Controller. Its weird because every single other race, the set ups are spot on. I make sure all driving assists are 0% too. I drive easy and smooth just slow. Yet in the actual race once I'm out in front I completely dominate with the same lap times. It really baffles me
@@RED4424Uhm, controller for the second question - as for the wear, I'm not too sure. I was probably referring to my career, so 2x or 3x. I'll have to get back to you on that.
