For the most part, most of Fl is subtropical with the exception of south which is considered tropical. Again, your videos are great and help newcomers get familiar with this beautiful area.

My family & I have visited 4 months ago we loved it. I visited often a relative when I was a child. I love the greenery of Ocala, I retired looking for peace quite away from the city life. Want to enjoy the seasons. Which section of Ocala is best for retired couples?

Hey Wanda! First of all thanks for messaging us! This is Jeff Baker, I am a Realtor here at Great Expectations.
Honestly there is not a “standard” or “boiler plate” answer to your question. It mostly depends on what you are wanting out of your retirement. If you are active and enjoy lots of different activities with other couples I would suggest you look at one of the 55+ communities. If you are looking for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle there are several communities that I can recommend that allow you some solitude and peace.

Can coconut trees survive in Ocala Florida

No. We do get a hard freeze about once a year. I don’t think coconut 🌴 palms can handle that.
