I saw the Hooters at the old Tampa stadium in the late 80's. They opened for for Starship and Rod Stewart at the first concert there since the Zepplin crown trashed the stadium ten years before. They were by far the best act! Love the Hooters.

It′ s sad .. because too many people are addicted to drugs . A friend died because of them .. this song makes me cry .
To me this is a song about addiction. The "woman" in this song gives you a poisonous kiss, drains your vitality and keeps you weak and dependant on her. You have to let her go to survive
