I Just Died In Your Arms Tonight
Cutting Crew
1986
Lyrics:
Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must have been something you said
I just died in your arms tonight
I keep looking for something I can't get
Broken hearts, they're all around me
And I don't see an easier way, to get out of this
Her diary sits by the bedside table
The curtains are closed, the cat's in the cradle
Who would have thought that a boy like me could come to this
Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must have been something you said
I just died in your arms tonight
Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must have been some kind of kiss
I should have walked away
I should have walked away
Is there any just cause for feeling like this?
On the surface I'm a name on a list
I try to be discreet, but then blow it again
I've lost and found it's my final mistake
She's loving by proxy, no give and all take
'Cause I've been thrilled to fantasy, one too many times
Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must have been something you said
I just died in your arms tonight
Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must have been some kind of kiss
I should have walked away
I should have walked away
It was a long hot night, she made it easy
She made it feel right
But now it's over, the moment has gone
I followed my hands to my head, I know I was wrong
Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must have been something you said
I just died in your arms tonight
Oh I, I just died in your arms tonight
It must have been some kind of kiss
I should have walked away
I should have walked away
Lego batman

"I can fix her"
I can resonate with this on an internal level

Gta...
Who's here because no matter what era you were born, the 80s still had some of the best songs ever!
Honestly tho
Yes ma’am
Born in 2006 but only listen to 70s and 80s. I will occasionally listen to a modern song but it usually is because I didn’t pick it.
Bella tu mujer
Facts, I was born in 97 but the moment I heard this song it became one of my favourites
The best scene in Lego Batman
when i see the Mc donalds cashier be like
One of the best in the early 1990s
It’s not even in there noob
The best scene in any Lego movie

This song is almost 36 years and we are here still listening to it. That’s the power of good music. The ones made today I bet won’t even be remembered in 10 years.
Probably less than 5 years.
So true dude
This song is 38 years old
Damn im 33
I have been listening to this from past couple of months and thought it might be 3-4 year old song.... 36 dayumm..
this masterpiece will never get old, i hope future generations keeps this song alive

Let's hope that they don't make rap version of it

My dog passed away yesterday while we were holding her, and as we went to bury her, this song immediately came on the radio. You were there for 16 out of the 18 years I've been alive. Gracie I love you so much, I miss you, this will forever be your song now. I love you.
Damn i'm sorry are you doing okay?
my sheep dog died in november 1987,and like you the song was on radio at the time,it is for me the same feeling...

The 80's were the greatest decade in human history.
I don't know about that one.
In America? Maybe, but i prefer the 70s, better music (before the invention of pop), better fashion, better cars, better movies (before the invention of blockbusters) less cocaine, more weed and less Reagan. The 80s were the beggining of the end, there late stage capitalism truly started.
Never met a person with a better opinion
if y’all don’t play this at my funeral i’m not coming
I'll keep that in touch as a grave watcher

80s music... still proving to be the best of all time.
YEP...
Agreed. And I wasn't even born then yet.
That's what they'll say in 30 years about 10's.
Me neither... I agree with you...all of you.
+Lemon Fish couldn't have said it any better
It takes my breath away , feeling what you all guys feel about this song. I thought I was alone in this. The nostalgia about these years, happy personal associations, wow! Thank you for being out there. This song will never die.
I remember when I was a teenager this song was the hit for me. Now fourty years later I still love it
If I ever die in someone’s arms, I want this song at my funeral.
😄😄😢
"I just died in your arms tonight" is a French euphemism for orgasm. It's not about actual death! LOL. Perhaps people would want to know at your funeral that you came by bucked loads while in a man's arms ;)
It’s going to be on my tombstone.
Here lies Brian Pilgrim
Born: Dec 21, 1980
Died: ........in your arms tonight
@@Harshalcv11 Just as well I'm not French then lol. This song should have been about death rather than coming everywhere lol.
Nicole Bonnett lol. I’m not French either. I’m English :)
Takes me back to the early missions in GTA when it was raining, there was a storm on the way and the bridges to the other parts of the map were closed. Transports me back to 2002-03 when I was 13 and spent my paper round money on a 2L bottle of coke and some sweets whilst trying to complete the ice cream truck mission. Glad I could share my memories with you!
Vice City had some of the best music in any Grand Theft Auto game.
@@justinweaver7428 Such a true statement. Funnily enough I listened to Gary Newman "Cars" and Hall & Oats "Out of Touch" today whilst on the train to London. Classics

Thank you gta vice city for showing me and so many other kids the greatness of 80s music
im replaying the game all over again just because how detailed it is lol
I had this experience too. Snuck downstairs a lot only 8 years old playing GTA Vice City on my older stepbrother's PS2. Grew up on 80s music through that game.
Everyone: something brought me here
Me: the 80’s brought me here
David Navarro apocalypse rising on roblox brought me here
Toto Africa brought me here
It popped up in my recommendations...
Sweet the 80’s brought me too
The radio
Joe Cool Berry yes the radio
That drum beat and those guitar solos man omg it's like magic.
This never gets old.
No se como hay gente que puede preferir la musica de ahora a esta
Definitivamente la música de los 80 siempre estará presente
I wasn't born in that era, but the GTA Vice City game I played when I was a child with this song is enough to imagine how beautiful that era was... Nostalgia...
Oh my, now I don't have to feel weird anymore. Most of the comments here are speaking of those people having grown up at those times and I just like the song because of a video game but can't talk about having lived it like those people who grew up with it. But the GTA series, even though it is not a game for children, it took together so good music and has a nostalgic effect on about 2000er children
Aye vice city just got re released on PS extra. Downloaded it just for the radio stations
Okay yes, i thought this was from san Andreas
Nooooo
I'm expecting for a return of this track in GTA 6
Children - stranger things
Men - gta vice

This song reminds me of freedom, the music, the lyrics. Everything about this song is amazing, I'm seriously sad I wasn't born in the 80s. That song changed me.
This song is the anthem of the 80s. Was playing all the time on the radio.
It sucks that everybody couldn’t be a teenager in the 80’s, they really missed out on the greatest decade of all☹️
I was born in the 2000's and miss the 80's, lol
Yea my parents talk about it all the time.
I kind of glad at I miss the 80 because parachute pants with cool then so I kind of glad at I miss at

Danced to this at senior prom in 1987. I also made out with a friend in his 78 Camaro to this song out in the woods. Those were such fun times, because we were so free and unafraid to live to the fullest back then. Everyone thought this song was amazing.

It feels so weird that people who were teens in '80s are now in their 50s - 60s. Time really flies huh.
Ik it doesn't relate to the song but it feels so weird, as someone who grew up in the early 2000's, to see a lot of my favourite movie stars (who at the time were in their 20s-30s) now reaching a point where they are retiring in their 60s-70s.
