    I totally understand your Sunday, Night and Morning routines. 4 am wake up call? Yes, you have to be organized to get from the bed, to workout clothes, and hydrating! And giving yourself time for reflection, meditation, whatever fills you up spiritually, is often neglected, especially when we have a family to take care of. Wow Tracy, good for you taking the time to be organized and figuring out what works for you.

    I was also reading a daily devotional called Our Daily Bread. I usually read it everyday. Last year I read Our Daily Bread every single day since the beginning of the year. I actually skipped a day but I got caught up. This year I was reading Our Daily Bread and then I stopped. Hopefully in 2021 I start back on it.

    This is my 2nd time watching this one. Very inspirational and motivational for me. I used to get up at 4:20 every morning for a work out, and want to get back to that. I used to say "feet on the floor, feet on the floor" - if I could get my feet on the floor, I could make it down to the treadmill. Excited to start putting myself and my health first again.

    Tracy I enjoy watching how organized you are. I too am an organized person. However I still work everyday to get better at it. By watching videos lije yours I can get great tips to add to my routine or even eliminate something that I'm doing; that is a waste of my time. I would love to see you do a video on you doing your make up. Preferably your eye makeup. It is fantastic! I think I do my make up well, but I'm really wanting a crisp sharp look like your eyes. Im struggling with that. Please? Please? I think I can speak for many your face is flawless and timeless!! Thanks for your wonderful videos. I know it takes a lot of work and time to do what you do. Omg, i would be starving when do u eat breakfast? Where is the oatmeal, lol.
    Ok tip for u, I like moving around too. Use a plastic lid form containers like yogurt or cream cheese tub, some fit perfect on a mug. Keeps coffee hot longer.
    Another top, get a candle warmer use it to keep coffee warm. Works great for those work station u go too.
    Just found you, u have a great speaking voice.

    • @TracyHensel
      @TracyHensel  6 років тому

      Yes, you are correct. If you tell yourself that you ill be starving, that is what you will believe. I eat Meal #1 around 10:30 a.m. Oatmeal can be purchased at any grocery store. I store min in the pantry. See my recipe on Instagram Stories 'WIEW'. I don't like HOT coffee. I'm sorry for the mis-comminuation. Sounds like a great ip though. Our coffee pot keeps our coffee warm. It has a built in warmer. Thank you ... on the speaking voice.

    Tracy, I have been following you for a little while now and I really REALLY enjoy your videos. I know you're a mama of five girls and have mentioned running a tight ship when they were younger. I have a question. What recommendations would you make for the routines in those in the early stages of motherhood? I often start a routine and then get derailed when I am interrupted. Something that I struggle with especially in the mornings is breakfast. I'm not a breakfast person and my boys wake up famished. Usually I'm in the middle of something when they wake up and I have to stop it all and do the cooking/cleanup routine. What have you done in the past to help the efficiency of that process? I appreciate you and your tips! God bless you!

    • @TracyHensel
      @TracyHensel  6 років тому +3

      Thank you for your nice message! Reading you morning dilemma, reminded me how much planning the night before can make such a big difference. I am not sure how old the boys are. I would say that if they are 8, or above ... you plan WITH THEM, the night before. Have them come into the kitchen, decide what they are going to want. Set out the utensils, plates, bowls, etc. on the table. Set out any prep items to make what they are choosing. Of course, having them help. Go over the details of who is doing what in the morning, as far as prep, clean-up, etc. Remember, you are PHASING YOURSELF OUT OF A JOB. Getting your kids independent at an early age ... especially things like this, will make a big difference later. I will talk about your question in my Snap, this morning. Please reference it there. Have a GREAT week!

    • @TheCrunchyCatholics
      @TheCrunchyCatholics 6 років тому +2

Have a beautiful day!

    Tracy thank you for responding so efficiently to my questions! One more question regarding the planner... I am curious What kinds of things go in the daily section of your planner (can’t make out the words on the video) as compared to what goes on the daily plan sheets? Is the calendar for events and the daily section for the “to do’s” of the day and you use both of them to then create the plan sheet for the day? Sorry for all the questions, just wondering how you do it. thank you!

    Can you give me some ideas, I cannot get up at 4 in the morning. I try to get up at 6:00. I get home from my evening job at 10:30 so I can’t go to bed earlier. I have three grandbabies 2 and under. I try so hard to get in my devotions and prayer time but I am just not making it let alone getting in exercising. I wasn’t so great at all this when my kids were little either but now it seems to be harder.

    • @TracyHensel
      @TracyHensel  6 років тому

      Hi Melinda! It sounds like with your work schedule, waking up at 4 a.m. would be difficult to stick with. I would aim to get 7 hours of sleep, at a minimum. That will determine your bedtime and wake up time.

    Hi Tracy, I know this is two years too late (not sure if you'll see this), but I have just found your channel and have a couple questions. I'm trying to get more productive - particularly during this quarantine - and am wondering how you got to waking up so early - I'm amazed! I am not an early bird by any means (I really struggle to get up early) and would love some tips on how to wake up early! Lots of love from London, England 💕

A lot of may e correlated at how you show up in life from your perceptions of yourself and your life. Love this series of videos, and I am trying to incorporate several of your ideas into my routines. I did have a question about the lemon detox. Does the water need to be hot, or is it okay to drink it room temperature? Just wondered if that was a personal preference, or if there is a reason for it to be hot. Thank you so much, watch your snapchats every day as I get ready.

      Hi Delyn! Thank you for your nice message. I hope this information helps: Helps Digestion. The biggest lemon water benefit may be from the temperature of the water and not even the added lemon. Drinking any water, or especially warm water, first thing in the morning can help flush the digestive system and rehydrate the body.

    Tracy I have an observation question that may just be how you shot the video but you got up on 1 side of the bed and then went to NJ other side where your napkin was stored for use as coaster. Do you and hubby have your own rooms due to hectic lifestyles? I've been struggling with this for a few yrs is why I ask. I'm actually hoping you do and will do a video on this. My husband is against it but also it's not the norm I guess but I feel we both in our 50s would sleep better and be more productive. I KNOW I keep him up often or disturb his restful sleep. It shouldn't be so taboo in modern times. It was normal years ago. Also separate beds but in same room. I'm such a night owl, I'd do better if I could work late into the night.

      Hi Leanne. No, my husband and I do not sleep in separate bedrooms. I do my work on his side of the bed. It is closer to the door to our bedroom, so it makes it easier for me. I don't see anything wrong with it, myself. Sleep is very important, and I think if both partners are in agreement, then they should do what is best for them. Intimacy is a whole separate topic, however. I think it's important for couples to not let that area of relationship suffer, due to sleeping arrangements. Thanks for bringing up the topic. God Bless!

    Thank you for this lovely video. I love how detailed it is! Do you work out at home or at the gym? The 1 1/2 hour includes travel to the gym? Or do you work out for 11/2h every day? What kind of work out do you do? What time is it approx when you come back from your workout and what time approx do you start your devotional time? Sorry for the big number of questions. 🧐🤓😊

      Thank you for the wonderful comment. I workout from home, currently. Please follow me on Snapchat to know more of what I am doing, daily. For instance, this morning I snapped during my workout. Also, please click on the workout link that I provided in the corresponding blog post. My history and workout routine is there
