My first car was a '69 Buick Skylark with a 350. I was in high school at the time and even though the car was 6 years old it looked new. I think I bought it for $950. I loved that car.
Greetings again from Ohio ... I cannot stress or say often enough, how much your straightforward representation of each car means! You seem to be a man of impeccable integrity. As for this 69 GS, I want to say that, I guess I'm probably as much a sucker as you for these blues, and in my opinion, GM offered the sharpest shades. Personally, I've always loved the various shades of maroon and burgundy equally well. Thank you again for sharing these absolutely gorgeous cars. To the entire staff at Volo, and to your viewers and subscribers, stay safe and well. Be Blessed, each and everyone.
Awesome car , I owned a 1970 buck skylark ,it was very impressive and strong motor with a great body ,I loved it and this one is very impressive as well, thanks for bringing back the memories of my younger days , awesome car 😎😎
Jay.....you feature great cars! Your presentations are both thoroughly enjoyable and informative. Thank you! Wish I had money to buy one of your gems! LOL
this is the nicest 69 gs i have seen. love the color and it being a 455 with the wide ratio. great great car. i wish i had it. i use to have the 68 gs with a 3 speed stick which was a great car. i would much rather have this one. beautiful car. i love the color.
@@VoloMuseumAutoSales And thank you for the youtube clips, you really know how to find the great ones, I know it must be a labor of love but it can't always be easy finding them. You have an incredible eye for the classics.
I purchased a 1968 GS 400 in October of 1967 was about $4,700,00 In mist green black interior Bucket seats 4 speed hurst shifter tach in dashboard Probably one of my most favorite cars installed a reverb on the audio system Red line wide ovals . The only reason I had to give it up was I married and had my first of 4 sons . Yea I got a station wagon oh well.
@@peterhoffman9553 should've gotten like a Chevelle wagon or a Mustang wagon lol! Maybe I'm just selfish, but one of the many reasons I never had kids is having to give things like that up. I'm sure you're happier with your kids don't get me wrong, but since I never had any I can't miss what I never even had lol. 4 kids is a handful! One of best friend has 3 kids all withing a few years of each other and they're great kids, but they can be a handful too lol. Hope you get to get another one of these cars one day and that you don't have to trade a couple of your kids to get it lol.
Damn I absolutely love that car. The color is amazing and man I love those rims. Those are my favorite rims. They look great on anything I've seen them on. I'd like to see what a new Charger or Challenger with those rims. I have a feeling it would be sexy regardless of what color the car is. I like a few other rims too. I like the Pontiac rally rims and the solid (metal?) rims with the small holes around the bolts. No idea what those are called but they look good too, but these are top notch looking.

Been a BUICK lover since I was a child. This is one of their, among so very many, most beautiful cars. Always wanted one!
back in the day a guy in my neighbor had one a 455, I had a bad ass 396 Chevelle. I could not beat this guy, he dusted me a few times.
Very nice reminds me of being young again.

Jay, Every time you pull one of your cars out of the shop the telephone pole scares the $hit out of me!
We'll catch it on video if it ever happens! 😆
@@VoloMuseumAutoSales Jay, I would hate to see a grown man cry. Hopefully one of your beautiful cars never tangles with the pole!
