Crazy how fast this car sold, just goes to show how beautiful and rare this Buick is. I’ve been a Buick guy since I bought my first one in 1982, and I still have it.
I am GM Car lover, since birth, almost every one of our neighbors drove GM, and Most were Buicks. That was definitely farther back, than 1972…I used to love lying in bed at night, as a Kid, and hearing our older neighbors Buick Roadmaster, with the Straight 8…Yes, I have a Passion for Buicks, 1950’s thru 1970’s 👍 We owned a 72 Skylark Custom two door Hardtop, as a pour second car, in the 70’s, nicely optioned, we loved every minute, and every mile of ownership. Our primary car, was a 1974 Le Sabre Luxus 455 Convertible, that went out on the sunny days.. Wish I could find a mint one of those for the sunny days. I am going direct to your Inventory site, and take a long, strong look at your Skylark, It Is So absolutely Stunning, and Tempting. You buy some very, very nice automobiles Jay 👍
I love the Buick GS cars, and this one is a real GEM. That copper color just pops, and it's a 455 Stage 1. Amazing car. I was not surprised when it sold that fast. This is one of the top 10 on your channel for sure.
Superb stunning gourgeus beautiful buick, from the batcave 🦇 thanks Jay grams president of volo auto museum and russel for perfect photografy from tom your friend now and always 🤩 🤩 USA 😎 ☀️
The most unique thing to me about this car is the color combo both outside and inside have seen very few these colors they are awesome as is the entire car.
A lot of cars out of California often sell right away less than a day after arriving off the truck. I often love the N25 option on these cars, and the 455 engines in these models years, and the Burnished Copper on the car. I remember a 1972 Buick Skylark Custom as little kid back in the 1990's, and the car is actually still located on Wright Avenue as of 2023.
Burnished Copper - I had one the same color but without the vinvy top and mine had white interior. You don't see many with the front & rear bumper guards. Mine had those too. I always thought they really added to the overall look. And mine wasn't a Stage 1; couldn't afford the insurance as a 20 year old. :)
Beautiful car.... Only thing I'd nitpick for new owner if he or she is looking for even more "correctness" would be that the hood lip molding is not supposed to be all chrome. The majority of the top of it should be body color, and the part that meets the headlight door chrome segments is chrome (bottom segment of hood lip molding). Also extremely nice and rare that the restorer chose to keep the factory body-side moldings. These are a PITA to restore, and are very difficult to replace nowadays. The factory stereo radio is another gem -- wasn't available on builds before January of '72.
For the privacy of the new owners, we've adopted the policy that after a vehicle sells we no longer display the price. We can go back and forth with arguments either way, and we understand it can be frustrating to some because they just like to know or have something similar but ultimately what someone pays for their car should be their business. It looks like this one was on our website for 10 days before being sold. That is why we emphasize to check our website regularly. www.volocars.com/auto-sales/vehicles
Have to stay tuned to our website to see the cars and vehicles as we get them! Videos are usually scheduled to release on UA-cam up to 5 days in advance, which in that time the vehicle can be sold. But videos can always be viewed on our website on their vehicles page during that time. www.volocars.com/auto-sales/vehicles

B/C it's 51 yrs old? Amazing what time does to them, even if just sitting, unless you have it climate controlled environment with no ultraviolet reaching it or moisture surrounding it, and nobody touching, rubbing, etc. "Normal wear," even w/ only 20K mi., can be significant over such a long timeframe, unfortunately.
I've only watched about a third of this you always say something about the antenna where's the antenna I didn't see an antenna I'm hoping it has a good stereo with good speakers seat belt
12:25 he talks about the undercarriage and shows 5 pictures. You can also see all the undercarriage pictures for yourself on our website. Link in description
The front grille is incorrect , should be flat black. Front bumper is pushed up at the center , happens easily when tapped even gently. Air pump is missing . I think this car has way more miles than advertised. Original intake and carburetor have been changed. A crossover pipe was added to the exhaust. All these non original parts lowers the value tremendously. And those screws in the dashboard are ridiculous
But even if it's got a good radio and it's only am it ain't worth crap I hope it's got a good radio and speakers to match and I don't mean a big boom boom boom with amplifiers and all of you dies just a really good loud nice sounding stereo in it what Good's an old classic muscle car without a good stereo and seat belts
i never got it why these cars had those flat backs no hugging your body you will slide away from them the only bad thing about these GM CARS OTHER THAN THAT BEUTIFUL

Like having the 442, I love it! Always dug the square exhaust out the bumper.

Real sweetheart love those exhaust tips, I would agree that it looks like a low mileage survivor.
Beautiful off the charts!!
Thank you! 😎

Beautiful Buick GS!! My favorite generation!! Guesstimate 99k
That colour is beautifull. Look quite similar to mine. Mine is called BitterSweet. This looks like a bit lighter and brighter. Burnished Copper maybe?
This was one of my high school crushes!

I saw one at a show years ago and the Stage 1 emblem was on the side of the hood scoops. What year had that?
I think 68-69

Why would someone need to rebuild and repaint to such extent on a 20,000 mile car.
