Many of them are, as long as you aren’t a no-life sweat who can’t live without a min-maxed build lol *edit* For what it’s worth, if 2k builds weren’t VC-dependent, I’d advocate more folks to pick these up and go. But it’s real money that folks are spending so the emphasis on value is important.
The defense builds are all good but thats pretty much it yea the defense builds are slowish for locks but they are still pretty good and usable honestly someone should make a tourney that you need to use pro tuned builds so we could have something enjoyable to watch and not the same lineup every game
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Kyrie Shifty Sniper, Chet Holg, and TMac builds. I think those are pretty decent. Also my 1st build I made was the Jack of All Traits build that I tweaked to get a 6'7 SF Swiss Army Knife
My first build was Versatile Star-Magic McGrady. It's fun to use in Rec, and I got almost everything in silver badges, so it doesn't have anything superior. I normally play it in the baseline, so if our center is a three-point threat, I always get 20+ points a game rising up and dunking to those without interior lockdowns and guards. Sadly, I can't use it without boosts, so I created a lockdown and a KD build.
I got the muti faceted star at SF. It's legit that 90 layup is unstoppable, decent 3 pt, good blocking. The downs side is the speed and agility.. but I can manage cause I usually play with bigs.
You’re already at a disadvantage trying to play the game as a 6’2/6’4 player, you’re going to stand zero chance guarding someone with a build with 25 on both when it costs less than an attribute point to get 60 on both
@@LakerFanI made that 6’2 pesky defender and that doesn’t really happen to me because I rip them or cut them off and get a force pick up animation before they even get a chance to get anywhere near the rim, that 96 steal and 82 str helps and you get all Hof defensive badges
Laker i rock w/ you bro and i watch 90-95% of your vids cause i find them informative and useful but everyone on this game aren’t sweaty comp players. It’s a game and some people want to have fun. 2k gives us plenty of opportunity to have different variations of builds and animations but we as a community adapt the one shoe fits all mindset and then wonder how the game dries up so fast. If you wanna make a build for these 🔥names do yall thing
I have that and it’s pretty good the only thing that hurts this build is that 65 vertical it’s hard to get rebounds yeah you have gold rebound but when other centers and pf have higher vert and higher rebound chaser you get out rebounded sadly but other than that it’s pretty good at everything thing else
These builds don’t fit the meta play style for the comp game modes, it doesn’t make them bad builds also these builds are most likely designed with the cap breakers in mind. So why give them animations that exceed their attribute cap requirements and cap breakers then at that point it would be kinda dumb to make your own custom build because you will be at a disadvantage with the build you made trying unlock badges and animations at the attribute requirements needed.
Nah bro high flyer denyer better than paint protector cuz that big is slow it’s hard to get paint stops with a bunch of cuts and a shooting big in the other team. My homie has it he’s a casual wish paint defense was better. It may be better after patch tho! Still plays solid tbh
there is no point putting leftover attribute if you can't unluck a badge for it unless is physical. putting interior defense and block for a small gaurd where that isnt their main job on defense sound like what sg and small forwards would do.
Pro, I honestly made the pro tuned Iso King build and I enjoy it a lot but I don’t play 2k no more than a few hours in the Rec a week but much respect 🫡 to your grind and the valuable info on yo channel bro.

I’m not a no life sweat, I just need min maxed builds to compensate for my lack of skill😂
Is it not normal to ask for a good experience on a game that costs 70 usd

Only builds I liked personally is the complete guard at pg and multifaceted star at sf. Decent fun builds when you just wanna relax.

Ive seen a couple 3pt titan in game and they were type nice out there.
The new Baron Davis generational guard is nasty imo.
The 6’2 2 way general is the best crafted build for a pg,check it out
The bouncy four is a super fun build

I'd be interested to see a video on 1v1 builds. Could be useful for ppl that run 1s in Proving Grounds.
If laker doesn’t do this, double H has a good vid on it (pro btw cause we always watch the full video around here)
You don’t need interior D and block on a small guard pg and guarding corner 😂 cmon bro

My first build is three point titan and it’s pretty fire
The Hibachi TMAC build is crazy
I really fuck with the three point titan but I only play with it with friends or when I don't care about winning vs randoms
two-way floor general is so good

How about the Chris Bosh dynamic four build? Feels like a pretty well balanced stretch big.
I have that and it’s pretty good the only thing that hurts this build is that 65 vertical it’s hard to get rebounds yeah you have gold rebound but when other centers and pf have higher vert and higher rebound chaser you get out rebounded sadly but other than that it’s pretty good at everything thing else

Stretch Slammer seemed pretty decent
Build name wild af 😂😂
Also I don’t think these builds are meant to be used at the highest levels. More casual builds than anything.
ironic for a "pro tuned" build
@@mekacrab agreed.
Does cap breakers change the name of these? Thinking of making the instrument of buckets one for fun
no you have the option of keeping the same if you want
What did you think of the Swat king one for center it seems so funny for a complete inside big

Rim protector is the best power forward build
I run with the playmaking marksman. 👍🏾
Three Point Titan pretty good I played with one and the one I went against I killed him 😂
I made mj I wish my build name was the goat
Spacing Dynamo?
We need specially builds not pro player builds the rules aren’t even the same for pros
