Hey guys! So this calendar didn't exactly turn out as I expected! I am not very familiar with lush but it seems like from the reviews this isn't the quality that most people expect from Lush. Let me know what you guys think! Do you think this is worth the $310?? Let me know! Love ya💖
I think it’s work it. The body butters and shower creams are really expensive on their own. Also, the bars can be broken up for multiple uses. I think the bad reviews are from the bath bombs and bubble bars being broken. Honestly, people complain about packaging waste then, complain about broken products that’s not wrapped in packaging to maintain its shape 🙄. Can’t please everyone.
Lush bath bombs are literally made by hand, are meant to crumble easily, and look shaggy. I have a Lush body cream in "Pansy" that smells amazing and came with a tag that had the photo and name of the chemist who mixed my container. I don't know about the value, though. Bath bombs retail for around $18, so if you got 10, that's $180 retail, the body creams are $6.25 for that size. It might be pretty close, though.
$300 for a bunch of bath fizzers is insane. Didn't you open a bath fizzer calendar that was only $20 for 12 days? This is crazy. No one should buy this.
It’s always my favourite go to advent calendar every year. Also the tag on the side of the box explains the products. Also Lush only has one sale a year on Boxing Day (day after Christmas) and all the Christmas and Halloween and products being discontinued go on sale for 50% off and the website is mayhem. They are expensive but lush is my favourite store and favourite bath products.
For that price, you might as well just go to the store and pick out a bunch of items, at least that way you can guarantee the items are fresh and even pick out scents you like 🤷♀️
That goes for most advent calendars, though. They may seem like a good deal, but most of the time you end up with a bunch of stuff you never would have bought.
@@plumdutchess it’s not as blatant as at lush. At least with the majority of calendars, there is some saving. The lush advent calendar’s in the Uk cost more than the individual items and people are paying for the packaging. Lush is the one place you only get it if you’re a hardcore fan of the brand. It’s weird because I don’t find it that expensive a shop but the advent calendars are insane, but they’re really the only ones who put popular items in them. There’s no saving to them though, so you may as well just have a random haul and save money.
the holiday bathbombs come in a set of 8 for $70. That includes the penguin, standing santa, and blue snowflake ones you got in this box. I would suggest getting the WOW gift box next time. It had
Former Lushie here - everything being a little chipped/deformed/falling apart is really normal, especially for a box set and/or ordering online. When I worked there, there was maybe one normal looking snowman per box at Christmas. Shopping in person with Lush is really the only way to make sure you’re getting fresh good looking item.
@@aishaupmanyu9677 But changing the ingredients to make it more durable, but likely less good, seems counterproductive. Wrapping them safely could be an option, if they find a way to do so without traditional plastic, but that might be pretty hard to do and could increase the price quite a bit. There IS compostable plastic, made from stuff like potato starch, but I've no idea if that would work on the bath bombs at all. Or what it would cost. At the end of the day you're just throwing them into water and let them dissolve, so does it really matter anyway, if they're a bit chapped?
When I order in Australia my deliveries come each wrapped in a little paper bag and I've never had much damage at all, why don't all lush factories do so?
Ex Lush employee here! Lush prides themself on having natural fragrances, the easiest & cheapest being citrus which is why so many products have an orange fragrance. Florals are pretty easy as well & the butters in cream products have their own natural scent. Apple, grape & strawberry are all synthetic but they won’t tell you unless you specifically ask. The calendar isn’t holiday themed because Lush is big on the whole ‘everyone belongs’ thing so everything is kept very neutral both in store & product decor (although there are some Christmas products like the santa) & language employees use.
@@jannicelockley8424every move they make is calculated. Their gift sets are only a good deal of you buy one with 2 products in it. We were all watched very closely & our language was monitored. We couldn’t say sir or ma’am or miss or mister. It had to be ‘friends’ or another gender neutral term. You’re right, they don’t care about you. They care about your money, just like every other big company out there.
I noticed this a couple of years ago. They really sell the image of being all natural, but so many of their most popular scents contain synthetic perfumes.
@@user-jw7bc1yp1nI appreciate the gender neutral language and inclusivity behind their approach BUT I wouldn’t shop at Lush if you paid me. I don’t find their products worth the price you pay. 😬
But why title things "Christmas Day" if they are all inclusive since not everyone celebrates Christmas? It just is weird that some things are passable to them and other things are not.
Years ago I was able to interact: feed, pet, and spend time with penguins while learning about them in a behind the scenes thing at SeaWorld in Florida. Not sure if it's still a thing, though.
I wanted to buy myself an Advent Calendar this year but couldn’t bring myself to spend the money on myself. Glad I get to live through you and watch you open them
Bet you're glad you didn't waste your money!!!! Honestly, as wives and mothers, we sort out everyone's presents ... it would be really nice to buy something like this, filled with Nice Thoughtful gifts, things we actually would buy ourselves and be a nice suprise, not a sad disappointed 😢😢
I used to love lush, but they kept discontinuing my favorite scents. And it was expensive buying so many, so I learned how to make my own. Three years later I sell them myself now, and seeing these is so sad. I know it’s different for small businesses (we are held to a higher standard), but I could never send out a product that way and that damaged! Also, I’m biased but there are many makers, myself included that make bath bombs (and other bath products) that perform better than lush… and with easier cleanup.
Every thing I have ever loved from them they discontinued. I miss Potion Lotion so much. And Happy for S.A.D. Shower gel. God I would spend so much money there, but now I can go years without going in.
I was totally crazy about Lush about 15 years ago but I also spent crazy money when they discontinued a scent or product that I loved so eventually I stopped buying so I could use up what I had. Used Angels on bare face and daddy-o shampoo for many years but I eventually stopped because AOBF was getting really expensive and shampoo was stripping my henna away more quickly than it should because of the lemon juice I guess. I miss the lovely violet scent still but it's just not worth it. Nevertheless I love watching your unboxings so here I am 😉
Im here for the jelly, we need to get her different slimes and foamy and crunchy slimes like floam if it's still a thing, I bet she would have a blast playing with all kinds of types of slims to putty, I get silly putty for the kids stocking every year this year was neon and black light glow worthy so much fun. I wish I had pictures over the years they are almost adults and still hope there's silly putty every year in their stockings. Fun video idea, slim to play doh, and maybe a make her own kit sounds super fun for the new year video idea 💡 ✌️
I like that you keep going after Christmas. Let's face it, by the time most start reviewing the calenders it's too late for a lot of us to either budget for one or it's sold out.
This was a great way of seeing what Lush has to offer these days. The smell in the stores is so overwhelming I leave with a terrible headache every time (so haven't been in years!).
Lush only does one sale a year (starting on Boxing Day). Their holiday line (including any leftover advent calendars) is 50% off online, but everything sells out very quickly. They have a wider selection of sale items in store, to clear out any excess stock.
@@orthenight Not true! There are several non-Christmas items on sale right now, including Halloween, Dia de los Muertos, Hanukkah and Diwali products. Most of the time it's limited edition items left over from earlier in the year, for example, right now they are selling off Barbie products from this summer. They also have products on sale that are about to expire, which would normally get donated or thrown out. It is true, however, that they only have one sale a year.
I had a staff member tell me that older stuff was going on sale. This is the first time I have ever heard of that. Makes me things at Lush aren't selling as well. @@ellenkarlsson9490
@@ellenkarlsson9490 so they were wrong about which holiday but right about the fact they don’t put any year round products for sale. I think anyone would assume if Christmas is there, so are other seasonal things.
The bubble bars are used to make a bubble bath. They work really well and you don't need to use a whole one. Most can be used for 3-4 baths depending on the size.
@@bobbiejoc1I know this was months ago, but yeah. You break off a piece and crumble it under the water. I suppose this is a plus of being able to go to the shops because they demonstrate it for you. I just hate how much they’re made to talk to customers :(
@@aliioana8586 Isn't that kinda contradicting in itself? O.o Non-Cristians won't care about lent anyway, so it doesn't need that theme and for those who do take lent serious...goodies everyday pretty much is the exact opposite of the purpose.
ADVENT calendars are obviously for advent. :P I too would love to watch her open that stuff all year round, but letting companies make these for pretty much most times of the year just means that people are persuaded to buy even more things AND it totally takes away from the special feeling that comes with the calendar during advent times.
I did the Lush advent calendar 2 years ago and looked up the price of everything as I went. It was ultimately $10 more expensive than buying the items individually, I guess for the box. To be fair, I love and still use the box to today, but considering I didn't like all the products, it wasn't a good value at all.
Understandable. I'm from somewhere where advent calendars have a LONG tradition and they were never supposed to give you any special (financial) value at all. They're purely meant to bring extra joy every day during the advent time. Original calendars were (and sone still are) just small, pretty, pictures behind the doors. You'd open the door and enjoy the tiny painting and get in the Christmas mood. Those were/are mostly reused everyday. It's basically a countdown. Chocolate ones are also super popular, it's not fancy chocolate though, just a small bite of regular chocolate, stamped with a snowman here, or a tree there etc. Also popular are self-made ones, where you take little boxes, or pouches and fill them with small goodies for the person you made it for (can be you yourself too) to enjoy. Obviously those have just the exact financial value of the items and the packaging, but that's, as I said, besides the point. I definitely DO get though, that with advent calendars like in the videos, you kinda want some extra value, since they're fairly (to very) expensive and you can't choose. It's basically like a subscription box, but themed and stretched out, not like the idea behind advent calendars per se.
@@meghan9625 Oh, I found your answer helpful and interesting and liked that it sounded like you had fun with the calendar! :) I just wanted to add that context, basically to say that this sounds exactly like something that's very well fitting for what it is. ^^ Happy new year!
Honestly it seems like a decent value. Their perfumes alone are really expensive and I’m surprised they put one in there. The issue is they really do look like old products. Bubble bars shouldn’t just crumble. That means they are expired.
There are definitely ways they could have boxed those without using plastic and still keeping them in decent shape. Glad you seem to enjoy it though. Looking forward to the rest!
Hello! I'm a Lushie and former Lush employee. Here are my comments: 1. You need to keep in mind that all products are hand made so everything may not be uniform or look like the picture. 2. A bubble bar is solid bubble bath. Crumble it under the tap when filling up your bath tub. They are not supposed to crumble like that by just holding it. 3. In recent years Lush has stopped doing full on Christmas scents and focused more on citrus scents. The Cinders bath bomb was a holiday classic and a favorite of mine, sadly it was discontinued, along with every other Christmas spice scented product. 4. Dream Cream is fantastic! It cured my super itchy and flaky nip eczema. A little bit goes a long way. 5. "You could probably eat Lush products, right?" You _could_ but you shouldn't. The lip scrubs are meant to be licked off, though. I have heard stories about customers sampling the fresh face masks in Lush stores. 6. 15:15 I don't know what that is and it shouldn't be in the box in that sorry state. 7. A bath melt has lots of oils and butters in it, it's basically a solid bath oil. 8. I don't think Lush has ever claimed that you get extra value out of their advent calendars. I know their pre-wrapped gifts sell for a little more than the value of the products inside. The appeal of a Lush advent calendar is about the exclusive products inside, of which you got quite a few (12 to be exact), it's never been about saving money. 9. If you're not happy with the calendar I recommend you to reach out to customer service. At least in Europe, Lush has the loveliest customer service and they will go the extra mile for you. I would definitively contact them about the shower Santa/blob and the exploding almond bubble bar.
I forgot Lush was a thing! My bathtub is SO TINY now. I used to have a huge jacuzzi tub and when I did I spoiled myself with lush. I took a Lush Bath every other Sunday. 😂 it’s been 3 years since I took a Lush bath! A bath in general really… now I wanna go get a hotel room or something just to take a Lush bath 😂
Advent calendar unboxing season started in August for me and I was honestly scared of it being over. These videos are my favorite way to relax and unwind right now so I'm more than happy to get some more! ❤ LUSH was my obsession from the mid-2000s to early 2010s. It was expensive, but not that crazy expensive. I even worked there as a help during Christmas season once so it's quite the nostalgia trip for me. The Cinders bath bomb was a favorite of mine back then, so I'm very much interested in the shower gel. Marzibain is also amazing when it doesn't randomly explode. If you crumble it under running water it gives lots and lots of almondy bubbles!
Lush bath bombs are AWESOME!!! But, you're absolutely right ... expensive. I get some and in the meantime "fill in" with some Amazon ones ... I found a few brands where you can get 12 for around $20 and they are actually good. The "chipped up" upon delivery doesn't bother me since there's not a lot of extraneous packaging. I get so much stuff online and the amount of padding and bubble wrap is insane. So wasteful.
Oh, if only snow fairy was an advent exclusive and not the plague of the lush holiday season. People get bubble gum, I get cheap cherry sucker from it. My head hurts just thinking about it. All that said, Lush does one, yes one, sale every year and its on boxing day. In the future if you want to try this calendar agian, be quick and you maybe able to get it for 50% off. That's the only time I'd consider this "worth it" Lush refuses to fix their shipping issues and this box shows the outcome of that. Smashed up dust everywhere. If you want to take a moral stance on packaging then don't make the consumer suffer for it. Paper bags, more of those biodegradable clear bags. Put in the effort to make a change, if you don't then its not a moral stance at all its just being cheap.
The shipping issues seem to possibly be a lush america thing? I’m in the uk and never had any issues with their shipping or the quality of the products, also the same when I worked in lush in australia! They are different franchise wonders for different countries so maybe that’s the issue?
I almost bought this one in store and then saw the price and decided not too. I hope you and your family had a great Christmas. Also I love advent calendar season even when it goes beyond Xmas lol
Yay Lush! I always expect about only 97% of my Lush to arrive when I order online. Definitely pop into one of their stores because the products are super darling. Lord of Misrule is very unique but my favorite 💚 Happy Christmas 🎄
Just in case somebody hasn't said it already - don't worry too much about the Marzibain bubble bar exploding like that. They're generally designed so you crumble them into the bath, and you frequently get 2-4 baths from one, so they do tend to crumble/ explode very easily. Also, just as a side note, the 'Marzibain' is indeed a play on 'MarziPAN', as the pronunciation of 'bain' in French (meaning 'bath') leads the two words to sound the same (so essentially 'MarziBAN'). Also, the Fairy Tail design is a take on sugar mice from England, which have a string tail, hence the ears :)
I've probably already seen this advent calendar unbox 15 times before Christmas but other UA-camrs. But am I going to click and watch Alexandria Ryan unbox it. You bet your sweet lily pad I am😅. I'd watch her unbox just about anything.
Lush only has one sale per year, starting on boxing day. All seasonal products or products produced before octobre that year are 50% off. the advent kalendar box will never be on sale before christmas. Edit after watching the video: yes lush is notorious for putting citrus scents in almost all their products. Its been a complaint from fans for years. They used to have a range of vastly different seasonal products with things like pine and spices that got discontinued permanently in favour of Citrus scents and expansion of the snow fairy line. The products got much more expensive but their range got less exciting and less creative over the last few years
The bath bombs look like they've been through some high humidity to me. I've never heard of the Lush brand, but they look very interesting. This advent calendar certainly didn't inspire me to check them out, though. Thanks for the smiles. Timmy was precious! I'm glad that one came a little wonky.
Wow, how disappointing was this?! I love Lush products, but $310 for these low quality items really makes me rethink my opinion of this brand. Thank you for sharing your experience though, especially the bonus unboxing at the beginning! 😍 I think I would still enjoy using these products, but only if it was closer to about $75 instead! 💯
Alexandria getting so excited over the shower jelly jiggler was everything I needed today. I wonder if the citrusy smell of the bath bombs could be coming from powdered citric acid as part of the bath bomb base, if that's the acid part to react with the baking soda(?) part to create the fizzing.
I really feel you not knowing what the scent is. Even when I’m in a Lush store, looking at the tag, it smells nothing like it should. It’s so confusing.
I love your channel. I love this series I could watch you open an advent calendar every single day of the year. You are so charming and hilarious, I don’t think I would care if it was an advent calendar of hand knit socks I’d still watch you open it.
My favorite part of Advent calendar season is the after season party that is your channel 🎉 I really enjoy your channel because I always leave with a smile 😁❤
Love your unboxings especially advent time ❤ I laughed because I too am still googling beauty advent calendars like it's my new obsession! I did see this Lush on sale now for 155.00 but I still think that is too much for what you received!
Yes! Keep the Advent Calendars coming! All year round Advent videos I am 100% down with! ✊😆 I love these videos so much & wait for a least 3 or 4 to be uploaded so I can binge back to back
I'm not a big Lush fan. Bath and Body Works will always have my heart!!lol I love your reactions to some of these calendars. You make me laugh and smile when I need it the most!! You're the best!! Can't wait to see some of those other ones you got. ❤❤
It seems like a great advent! I only take showers so have never used bath bomb thingys but they look fun! Bob made me laugh! To be fair to Bob I thought the almond looked like a giant roach 😂
I love your videos and have been enjoying your advent calendar series!❤❤ I just checked their website because I was curious to see more reviews and the calendar now retails at 155$ and it's still available on their official website🙃maybe you should have waited just a few more days😭😭 Your video is still amazing, thank you for keeping us entertained!
The best time to get lush products is right after Christmas during their 50% off sale! It’s the only time of year that they do a sale & honestly it’s so worth it! It’s the best time to stock up or try something new! It’s typically only on holiday items like snow fairy, i personally take advantage of it every year.
Your hair has gotten SO LONG! 💙💙 (I'm jealous, my hair hasn't barely grown in like the last 5yrs.) Can we have an updated hair growth regime rundown, including vitamins, etc. please..? Thank you so so much for the hilarious video, & happy holidays! 🩵🩵🩵
Oh no it’s so sad when the stuff breaks! Lush is definitely more expensive but by far worth it. They also stand behind all of their things so if you were to reach out to them and let them know what happened to many of your items, melting, chipped, exploded, they will nine times out of 10 offer to resend it to you or issue you a refund. I hope you enjoy them.
I definitely would reach out to them, at least over the "santa head" lump because over half of it is missing and you just can't tell what it was meant to be. The odd chips and stuff don't bother me when it is for myself, as long as it is substantively identifiable and 95% there then it is fine. However, if I had brought it as a gift for someone then I might be more upset over the cumulative effect of all the little issues.
I went to lush website just to look, their bath bombs are anywhere from $7 to $10. Bubble bars are $10 to $15. And their shower gels are $12 for 3.3 fl oz. I don’t think the calendar is worth it, knowing the prices listed online except for the shower gels and that completely depends on how big those tiny bottles actually were
Those 90s gel candles! Gawd I totally forgot about those! The amount of times I got in trouble for ruining my aunts gel ocean candles when I was a kid is too many to count! I would try and “rearrange” the scene 😂
Very cute but $310? That's a lot for bath bombs . I think I might have been upset about that. Cuddles to the fur babies. Hope Tater is doing well. Love to watch what they do behind you. So precious. Much love girl.
I would not spend 310 (or 31.00) for that calendar. It loos like it got wet or had a wild ride from where ever it shipped. Love watching you unbox advent calendars!
You stuck that green lotion up to the camera, and I leaned in to smell it. 😆 I would be really disappointed to pay that much and have it look like that coming out.
16:42 in Europe (and maybe world wide but that I don’t know) they package all their bars, soaps and bath bombs in recycled paper bags which are actually really awesome because they are sturdy, protect the product a little bit and can actually be recycled again. I would have loved to see them make those bags with like a bit of a design for this box. It’s probably even better than the insane amount of paper shredding they needed to use now (which does look fun haha)
In 2020 I calculated the price to buy every item individually, and it would have been $2 cheaper to just buy each item. Obviously you wouldn't get the box, but that really put me off buying the advent calendars even though I do love Lush products. I've seen a lot of these items in store and the quality is so much better than what you showed, it really makes me wonder if they put old stock in the advent calendars and the perfect ones on the shelves... but with items like the poorly cut/melted soap, I wonder if there's like some percentile of QA passes, like if it passes X% it can be put in an advent box but has to be Y% to go in store. LOVED this video as always, but it really cemented for me it's not worth buying the advent calendar!
I live in a big city and go once a year to get my daughter a few bath bombs for Christmas. Even at the high end mall I have to carefully find the "good" ones. Very cool idea but SO fragile. The ones at the malls are even damaged.
Sounds awful but squeaky wheels are the only ones that get heard. The thousands of us that had great experiences didn’t review because lush is usually awesome. This calendar was so good that I ended up buying it twice. I also bought the lush buddies advent calendar. The value is definitely there and both calendars include exclusive items only available from the calendars. I think the mail system was really really bad to your mail….. I had 7 separate lush boxes and only 1 break…. Yes the strawberry scrub. Your box got kicked, I think 🤔.
If you like that jelly bath stuff, it remindss me of bath slime you can get at the Dollar 🌳. Its in a short cylinder container in the bath section. Different colors available.
Yay your videos are the perfect start to my work day. Edit: the giggly jello product is totally my fave part. So satisfying in a Flubber way hahaha oh & hope everyone had a lovely Christmas & didn't get gifted COVID like I did 😂
There is a Lush store near my house and it is always bright and colorful. Some smells kick up my allergies but I enjoy walking though there just to look around.
I think I read somewhere traditionally advent starts around Christmas then finishes early January, keep the calendars going😊, But seriously love the advent unboxing I would would watch it at any time of year 😊
Hi, recovering Catholic school girl here, lol. You’re describing the Christmas season, which starts on Christmas and continues through the Feast of the Epiphany on January 6th. (The twelve days of Christmas. Sorry for putting that song in your head.) Advent is the four Sundays before Christmas. That said Advent Calendar Unboxing Season is every day that ends in y, as far as I’m concerned! :)
It seems like they basically took all their product that was ruined or not perfect to sell at full price. So instead of trashing them. They put all the throw aways like that lump that’s supposed to look like Santa and all the deformed ones and what not and throw them in a advent calendar so they can make money on the deformed or not to their perfection to sell and decided to not put them in their plastic wrapper. Which sucks bc most advent calendar’s are always free samples to destroyed products they can’t sell and should toss out. Just my thoughts though out me watching this video and I’m 3/4 through the video. But at least you can still use these even though they aren’t all looking like they would if you bought it at full price. Plus it seems many are old products as well. Which sucks and a total rip off in my opinion. I Hope you and Jeremy and the boys have a wonderful New Year’s. Love your longer videos. You wouldn’t even have to edit your videos if you didn’t want to. We just enjoy watching you and being apart of your little YT family 💜💜
You and the almond commentary killed me haha. I went to the boxing sale (day after Christmas) in Louisville, ky and while the line was long they had tons of products on sale. I picked up a few things half off that I would never spend full price on.
I love lush. But I’m entirely too picky about scents which thank god bc it saves me from getting these 😂 helps that a lot of the winter scents are snow fairy which I hate or have lavender which I’m allergic to
I’ve never met anyone else allergic to lavender! That’s why I can’t shop there. I have received gifts from friends in the mail so there is no lavender. The champagne scent was my fave…not sure if it even still exists.
@@vj4195 me neither! I didn’t even know I was allergic til I was in my 20s. Found out carrying a vase that had a fresh bud and where it had been on my chest I had a row of hives. Super weird. Never noticed bc I don’t really like the smell anyway ig and neither does my mom so if we just didn’t have it. I always just ask when I go in and they tell me which ones to avoid. Helps that they typically list everything instead of doing what other brands do and don’t just say “fragrance oils” which can include it without listing it. Had that issue before
The Newport Aquarium In Cincinnati used to sell penguin experiences. I think they still do! You get to go behind the scenes and sit with/touch the penguins.
I wonder if there are any sensory/play Slime advent calendars out there, I feel like you might like Slime if you really enjoyed the texture/feeling of the shower jelly.
I don't buy Lush because I have extreme skin issues but I know you just ended up with a wonky calendar. I've seen so many unboxings of the Lush calendars and they've all been stellar quality so I wouldn't grade it too harshly for that
I’ve never been to a Lush or used their products, but from watching some people make bath bombs and bubble bars, I think Citric Acid is a common ingredient, which would be contributing to the citrus scent of everything!
They are expensive but lush is my favourite store and favourite bath products.
about a third of the products in the box are on the 50 percent off section on the website now
I always say this, but i would watch you unbox advent calendars the entire year and not be upset in the least.
Same!
Same here. The calendars are second to Alexandria herself.
Same!
Hahaha facts!
Agreed 💯
For that price, you might as well just go to the store and pick out a bunch of items, at least that way you can guarantee the items are fresh and even pick out scents you like 🤷♀️
That goes for most advent calendars, though. They may seem like a good deal, but most of the time you end up with a bunch of stuff you never would have bought.
Yes, I said the same in my comment to her comment above
@@plumdutchess it’s not as blatant as at lush. At least with the majority of calendars, there is some saving. That would absolutely be my choice as well. The nearest store is over a 100 miles away from me, so it isn't really a viable option.

They should work on it then. It shouldn't be normal. Little chips are one thing but this is just sad
Is that why you get a bonus, but slightly damaged, bath product when you order online sometimes?
@@lethfuilmy bathbombs comes in that sort of potatoe chips thing.. don't know the english words for it 😅. But they always arrive undamaged.
I don't think they have much thought about anything..including customers and quality..yikes

Do you ship to Tennessee? What’s your website address? I’d love to purchase some products from you & support your small business! 🤩
@@TabithaUA-camMe too!
Ship to nz? Haha our lush here is SO expensive and the scents don't hit like they used to.
Entire video is worth it for Alexandria losing it over the jelly XD
That's why I order online. Also no upsell.
Same!
“Now I have jelly on my hands! Now I have jelly on my pants!” You never disappoint!!
Lush only does one sale a year (starting on Boxing Day). Their holiday line (including any leftover advent calendars) is 50% off online, but everything sells out very quickly. They have a wider selection of sale items in store, to clear out any excess stock.
I came here to comment the same. Yep, only sale of the year is Boxing Day and only on Christmas items. Non-Christmas never goes on sale.

The bubble bars are used to make a bubble bath. They work really well and you don't need to use a whole one. Most can be used for 3-4 baths depending on the size.

I definitely wouldn’t be upset about advent calendars all year long. Maybe there are some for other holidays
I know I’ve seen Halloween ones and I wouldn’t be surprised if there was Valentine’s Day ones
Hear me out. Lent calendars. Doesn’t have to be just for Christians. It can be for anyone who wants 40 days of goodies!

Non-Cristians won't care about lent anyway, so it doesn't need that theme and for those who do take lent serious...goodies everyday pretty much is the exact opposite of the purpose.
ADVENT calendars are obviously for advent. :P
I too would love to watch her open that stuff all year round, but letting companies make these for pretty much most times of the year just means that people are persuaded to buy even more things AND it totally takes away from the special feeling that comes with the calendar during advent times.
I've seen a Valentine's day Advent calendar sold at Target this last year!
Watching you unboxed advent calendars has been my Christmas tradition for three years now I always enjoy it

One awesome thing about lush bubble bars is that you can cut into pieces so you're actually getting more than one use out of them.
Yeah, there are reusable ones too that I prefer. (I didn’t know you had to cut the other ones apart and one of mine completely fell apart D: )

I can’t imagine how strongly scented this calendar is! The whole house must smell of Lush!
Girl id watch you unbox advent calanders until the next season starts lol i love to watch how much fun you have doing them .
@lethfuil I agree and have purchased a lush advent calendar since. There was just a question about value and I knew the answer. 😀
@@meghan9625 Oh, I found your answer helpful and interesting and liked that it sounded like you had fun with the calendar! :) I just wanted to add that context, basically to say that this sounds exactly like something that's very well fitting for what it is. ^^
Happy new year!
I still use my box now to store my Lush products in.
That's kinda sad. You woyld think you would get a tiny bit more value.
YOU DID LUSH!!!!!! I feel so heard. I love these videos and check for them daily!!
I would never spend the money on this calendar, but I love watching you unbox them. I lost it with the jelly. I thank you for the smiles.
Here are my comments:
I can relate to this 😭
Advent calendar unboxing season started in August for me and I was honestly scared of it being over. These videos are my favorite way to relax and unwind right now so I'm more than happy to get some more! ❤
LUSH was my obsession from the mid-2000s to early 2010s.
YEESSSS THE GREEN JELLY BLOBBBB!!!! I'm so glad you did that! My adhd would've been stuck on stupid while playing with that for hours. 😂
Me, too! I NEED one of those in my life!😂😂😂
I've had two of those and they're so damn hard to wash with. I think they're just for that stimmy sensory fun 🤣
You gotta start calling this End Of Year Advent Calendar Season (EOY) and start in November 😂
I am thankful for Alexandria. Her videos are just so calming to me. ❤❤❤
That's the only time I'd consider this "worth it"
Lush refuses to fix their shipping issues and this box shows the outcome of that.
Not to mention it's not very environmentally friendly for their products to get smashed up and wasted.
I almost bought this one in store and then saw the price and decided not too. I hope you and your family had a great Christmas. Also I love advent calendar season even when it goes beyond Xmas lol
Advent Calendar season lasts until easter 😇
I like Lush but only buy a few things throughout the year. A Lush fan would be better served having someone take the $310 and buying their favorites.
Yay Lush! I always expect about only 97% of my Lush to arrive when I order online. Definitely pop into one of their stores because the products are super darling. Lord of Misrule is very unique but my favorite 💚 Happy Christmas 🎄
Lord of Misrule is one of my favorite scents. I wear it year round.
@@shoullin1761 Saaaame! I finally invested in the perfume this year 🥰
Lord of Misrule is literally my most favourite scent!!!! So obsessed with it!
The products got much more expensive but their range got less exciting and less creative over the last few years
I’ve noticed this too :( Bring back the Cinders body wash!!
The bath bombs look like they've been through some high humidity to me. I've never heard of the Lush brand, but they look very interesting. This advent calendar certainly didn't inspire me to check them out, though. Thanks for the smiles. Timmy was precious! I'm glad that one came a little wonky.

Agreed. They have great customer service!
I love the smell of bubblegum so much! That stuff would be awesome. Agree that they could have packaged the items better to avoid damage.
I have had a few bad days but watching you has made my day lol
I would not spend 310 (or 31.00) for that calendar. It loos like it got wet or had a wild ride from where ever it shipped. Love watching you unbox advent calendars!
Don't Stop!!! The more calendars, the better...

HELP! I'm addicted to your advent calendar video's! 😂 Ive been binge watching and I just can't stop. 😅

But I’m entirely too picky about scents which thank god bc it saves me from getting these 😂 helps that a lot of the winter scents are snow fairy which I hate or have lavender which I’m allergic to
I also can’t stand Snow Fairy and do not understand its popularity at all.
I’ve never met anyone else allergic to lavender! That’s why I can’t shop there. I have received gifts from friends in the mail so there is no lavender. The champagne scent was my fave…not sure if it even still exists.
@@iheartbusterk82 the smell makes me gag. I honestly don’t get it 😂
@@vj4195 me neither!
Had that issue before
@@vj4195 it is definitely more risky tho bc with it being fresh ingredients if you miss it you will get a reaction 😭
The Newport Aquarium
In Cincinnati used to sell penguin experiences. I think they still do! You get to go behind the scenes and sit with/touch the penguins.
I wonder if there are any sensory/play Slime advent calendars out there, I feel like you might like Slime if you really enjoyed the texture/feeling of the shower jelly.
The Newport Aquarium (KY) has a penguin experience! You get to hang out and pet them!! It was so fun.
I don't buy Lush because I have extreme skin issues but I know you just ended up with a wonky calendar. I've seen so many unboxings of the Lush calendars and they've all been stellar quality so I wouldn't grade it too harshly for that
9:57 😂😂 that was the cutest face when u got it on ur nose 😂❤with the "oooh"
I love watching you and the advent calendars. this one is a disaster for the price.
I loved the soap called Bob. Haha I love your videos they bring me so much joy. Can’t wait to watch more advent calendar unboxings!
I’ve never been to a Lush or used their products, but from watching some people make bath bombs and bubble bars, I think Citric Acid is a common ingredient, which would be contributing to the citrus scent of everything!
Citric acid, though originally derived from citrus, doesn’t actually have a scent. (I make and sell bath bombs)
