    I have never seen cassava peeled like that! In Guyana we take a sharp tip knife and slit the skin from the top to bottom, straight line, then you pry the skin out from the slit, right to left and left to right!

    • @wendyhestick8514
      @wendyhestick8514 Рік тому

      Yes my Amerindian family do the same, slit a line and pry the skin off. They have a grater over a bowl then into a special basket to press the water out, then the water is starch, and casareep, for curing meat and making cassareep stew, with any kind of meat.

    For the cassava bread lady. Easy way to peal a yuca is to cut the ends off and make a slit. Take the knife and pull open the skin.it will pop even.with out scraping

    Hi, this comment is a bit late, but I loved your video! Every other video has some weird ingredient that revolves around Coconut, more wheat flour then actual cassava flour, or just plain out weird ingredients you would never normally have in your kitchen! All of your ingredients are already close to hand, and easy to use! What I would love is if you put a link in your description to the recipe, or a list of said ingredients. Thank you for making this wonderful video!
