Yknow everybody complains about them in groups but after watching you do it flawlessly I’ve come to the conclusion that we need to be more patient lol

Either be patient or use certain tools and/or methods that work.
Personally I like using lvl 3 shadow bishop to clear brightshades in my long term worlds, and all you need is ranged weapon to provoke brightshade's thorns on bishop while you just keep distance and watch the magic happen.
It's quite easy, efficient and most importantly it's shadows VS lunar fight which I approve.

Well you can choose not to trigger rifts.
And besides there is currently no reason to trigger them besides to try new content.
Hopefully they add more stuff and rework some things

I think by now everybody know that one, but thanks for sharing it anyhow!
Surely there are better methods to get rid of these pests but I wanted to fight them because some people seem to struggle with them.
