Georg, Tara, Liv & Bodhi
I’ve seen these kids grow up through these videos. They’re probably some of the luckiest kids in the entire world. God bless this family.
Ameen ❤️
Thanks for this - it reminds me to be humble and centered when the oxygen is such a precious thing. It was definitely amazing when hiking the Himalayas base camp I felt the calm the beauty but just when I back to the city within months - I ve forgot about all these and gotten grumpy and sad easily. Amazing family and experience, bring out the best of Bhutan culture. Looking forward to more of Asia.
Indeed they are very lucky to have such a wonderful parents ..
True!!! No doubt
I think a grand design has created this family. All kids need such parents who teach them to appreciate all cultures, have a great understanding and a broad outlook that makes true world citizens ❤
Additional information about Bhutan:
1. Has strict rule of Cigarettes
3. Has strict rule of Plastic usage
4. The country rule talk about the percentage of wood (florest) they should maintain.
5. They limited the amount of tourist who can enter Bhutan per year.
6. They are the most motivated and most serious country on handling climate change problem
This country is just amazing!❤
Cigarettes aren't banned
6. Feudal King aka dictatorship
7. Bhutanese Nepali ethnic cleansing
@@rangoman1815 wrong video bro this isn't NK
@@jitssh Just try criticising the feudal King
@@rangoman1815 do you live there? no right?
It was breathtaking. Just couldn't hold my tears back in the scene where Bodhi wept, and the little boy came to offer the toothbrush to him. Teaches so much about compassion...blessed to have watched this vide💖
Me too. There is so much emotion all over me when seeing Bodhi being an adorable kid, and the little boy being so ... a good brother (I need a better word, Eng is not my native language).
Pursuit of happiness 😢
Beautiful family and such an incredible experience. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! 😄❤️
I am a Sri Lankan Buddhist monk and also a 4th year University student. I'm watching this video in 11:48 p.m. Almost clost to the mid night. I don't know how to exferce my feelings. Books I've read and videos I've watched have inspired me to visit Bhutan, but nothing has inspired me more than this video. The scene with the Bodhi and the toothbrush was my favorite moment here. I hope that one day I will be able to fulfill that dream. Thank you to all of you who have inspired me with knowledge and enjoyment that goes beyond mere travel. Now it is 12:03 A.M.
Theruwan saranai swamin wahanse 🙏🙏🙏
Your storytelling and filmmaking is insane! So good. The introduction alone gives all the feels!
🙏🏻
Also the parenting ✨
I think I’ve cried through the entirity of this video. So many emotions. I felt them all through your beautiful family. I love the way you are raising your kids. Thank you. 🙏🏻
Thank you! 🥹 There are many more adventures where this one came from! ❤️
Another masterpiece in cinematography but what captured me most were the smiles of your children and the children in the village and the monastery. Such a wealth of experience for them both. How heartwarming when the little boy gave up his toothbrush because Bodhi was crying, and then Bodhi returned it with a smile and a hug.
Yeah, very Heart touching. ❤😊
A fan from India. The way you presented Bhutan is Amazing. Bodhi's name actually related to this country. Bodhi Means inner consciousness ❤️
Bhutan has been my favourite destination of all my travels. Crossing the border from India into Bhutan, and it just hits you how different can 2 countries be going through a gate. The Bhutanese people are fantastic! As always, love your chronicles.
Thank you! Totally agree, Bhutanese people are fantastic!
such a magic adventure but also such harsh conditions, where did you go in Bhutan sir?
Paro, Thimpu, Punakha
Most people have forgotten the ethnic cleansing and prosecution of Bhutanese Hindu Nepalis
@@rangoman1815 I was not even aware of it. Thank you for bringing it up. Clearly, this demonstrates the ugly side of Bhutan.
Your daughter is a true epitome of a child nurtured under loving and responsive parents. Despite being young, she seems to be a very perspicacious traveller, who truly acknowledges and appreciates the essence of holding other’s culture in one’s regards. As for Bodhi, he has been the cynosure throughout your travavlog. Kudos for your commendable parenting and for grandiosely curtain calling the regality of Bhutan. Best wishes and warm regards.
You have tought your children well through these adventures. And that is completely visible in the way that they talk and behave. Great job!
Like a 3 year old and a 5 year old giving interview level answers.
Bhutan my favourite country!!I love their simplicity... love from Sri Lanka 🇱🇰♥️
We love you guys too.🥰
Wowww this was so beautiful! The storytelling and filmmaking is just so good😍 Loved seeing the kids their interactions❤️
Thanks Kay! 🙏🏻❤️
Y'all should definitely collab😂
This not Tibet or Indian thiswow beautiful Nepal
We actually have collaborated! 😉 You might see Kay in our next video!
Kay waiting for your next video 😉
I am a Bhutanese and I have never seen such a beautiful cinematography about my country. I can’t stop tearing up watching this. Such a beautiful work of art. I look forward to your returns. Thank you.
Being a father of 7 daughters and a practitioner of Buddhism watching your children mix with the tribes children was so heart warming it bought me to tears, pity adults can't act more like children, at least for somethings.
Thank you for sharing 🙏
Thank you for the kind words and thanks for coming along! 🙌🏻
I would've never guessed a white middle aged hardcore looking biker dude practices buddhism lol. Pretty dope haha
@shreypatel9379 That's what having 7 daughters and 25 grandchildren do to you, 😄
Even as a Bhutanese, this video felt like a movie and made me cry at same time smile😊 .
I love bhutan, Allow them and at the same time protect them, so that they remain a very peaceful and safe place with all its beauty and cultural nobility. Warm greetings from Indonesia.
I wish to visit Indonesia one day, I want to see all the ancient history you have
The education you're giving your kids is more valuable than any school can offer. They get what I wish for so many other kids, and adults as well: to learn that they are global citizens in a global community, and that -- rather than human-made boundaries that breed conflict -- is what matters, what allows everyone and the planet to thrive. The animal story said it all. I love how your kids are so open to and comfortable around those who are different (and yet the same). I haven't yet had the breadth of experiences you've had, but living in Georgia (Tbilisi) -- after having lived in Italy insisting that I wanted to be Italian -- opened my eyes to the global community and how being a global citizen is more important.
O my Gosh, your country is a dream! I wish I can go there one day..
❤❤❤ from Bhutan 🇧🇹 nice to see your family in Bhutan 🇧🇹 😊❤
Guys, this is truly an other masterpiece. Really love how you blend incredible captures with the most immersive storytelling. Lou shed a tear for the toothbrush story 😅 Congrats on this new release. Truly inspiring
Thank you!!! 🙏🏻
Storytelling is next level! So crazy to hear locals say they havent seen other kid tourists in their country/near their tribe. What an experience your family is taking.
Yeah, that was nuts 🥜
This is definitely a Fern-Weh. So nice to see my friend Pasa in this video with you guys as well.
This is the most authentic channel i had subscribed. You can see their siblings learning in a very holistic way on respect whatever the difference in the race and culture. Kudos to the parents. Its all about the goodness that we need to spread.
This video just made me so proud of being a Bhutanese! Thank you sharing us your experience here in our country 🤗
Your country is so beautiful 😍 ❤
Never has a travel documentary made me so emotional. Your storytelling moves me every time, is it okay to confess that I cried along with Bodhi when he wanted the toothbrush and was also so in joy along with him when he gave it back to the Bhutanese kid? Gosh, you guys are amazing!!! No better education than travel, like it opens up our eyes to different perspectives and am I glad for your kids or am I glad!!!
lol my eyes teared up as well.
watching from the Philippines . nice vidio and story❤
Thank you for visiting Bhutan. It left me with happy tears😊😢 I miss Bhutan SOOO BAD! Life abroad is different😀Thank you for making this, it made me happy to see my country.
I'm Bhutanese. I have never seen such beautiful cinematography. It's truely amazing. Truely an amazing family. My first time commenting, but it was such an amazing experience just watching this video makes me excited to explore my country too
It’s so comforting to see this quality of content these days where all over social media we’re seeing “cinematography” with yellow text overlays and everyone pushing “storytelling”. This is another lever of telling stories. Thank you for sharing the world with us ✨
No, thank YOU for coming along! 🙏🏻❤️
Bodhi has probably learnt the greatest life lesson. He will cherish that moment forever. Iam so happy for him
The luckiest kiddos on earth. Their parents are also amazing people and are giving their children the world with cultures and language, hospitality, memories. Humility. Its something i wish i had growing up.
The oxygen is the toughest and altitude sickness is no joke.
These little kids are so lucky to have these kind of parents. they're traveling at a small age it will build there character and make them kind to people.Travelling teach people to live in a another way.
If this video doesn’t bring you fame and fortune, I honestly don’t know what will. Incredible- every minute of it😱
Thank you 😅🙏🏻
True!!
I'm crying watching the whole video, its very touching when I see the kids interact with the Bhutanese children.
Thank you for sharing your amazing journey!
Thanks for coming along! ❤️
Bodhi, such a thoughtful name.
Greetings from Bharat 🙏🇮🇳
The smiles and kindness of laughs from these kids are priceless
Been to Bhutan 2 weeks back. Can relate to the mesmerising and unique experience one gets on visiting the Country, especially the warmth of the people, and devoid of materialism.
We want to be the first ones to say this.
Congrats on another 1M video you guys.
We cannot tell you how much this one touched our hearts 😢. Standby for some lengthy fan messages on Instagram. Love and hugs ❤❤❤
Thanks you two! ❤️ I hope you’re doing well!
Something with this video made me weep like a baby, omg ... These kids are so happy 😭😭
Literally bawling my eyes out over the little boy giving away his toothbrush 😭
This video was absolutely magical and left me with a few questions!
-How do plan your trips and find these amazing places?!
-Can you make a course going over storytelling, filmmaking/editing?!
-Are you guys also homeschooling the kids while you’re out on your travels?!
Anyways love your videos, and it’s always so exciting whenever I see you guys upload a new video!
Thank you!
1. That’s all Tara, scouring the Internet for hidden places. If you like, you can sign up to our newsletter (in the description) in which we will feature off the beaten path destinations!
2. I’m a bit of a perfectionist (if you haven’t noticed 😅) so for me to make a course I would have to lock myself away for a few months. Maybe someday!
3. Not homeschooling YET. We squeeze these trips into holidays but that might change soon. 😅
Thanks for coming along, I really appreciate the support and kind words! 🔥❤️
I haven't finished watching the video yet, but I wanted to pause and express my gratitude for sharing it. I feel blessed for the gift of life. Thank you.❤️🙏
This! 🥺
why I cried throughout this movie. everything in this country is so touching.
I am Bhutanese and to be honest this blog is far better than Bhutanese movies
Fernweh Chronicles, your unique approach to raising kids is truly inspiring! Instead of aspiring to explore lavish destinations like Dubai or LA, your children are beautifully immersed in diverse cultures, discovering the true gems like Bhutan. It's refreshing to see a focus on meaningful experiences and genuine learning. Kudos to you for fostering a global perspective in such a captivating way!
Its not always or super rare to be able to feel whats happening in a video clip but man i was so touched..the people...kids...places...everything was so pure
The way the family was welcomed was so heartwarming. And the toothbrush had me in tears. Such a special experience for everyone involved.
Your children are so kind and well mannered. And they look really young, but seem to have a wisdom and calmness with them. Good job for raising such beautiful kids..all the way from South Africa❤❤
I this couple from south Africa
your videos always create such magic for those watching. you truly have a gift, and your children are SO blessed to have you guys as parents. i genuinely cried so hard when that little boy gave bodhi his toothbrush🥹 you show the world that humanity still exists, please never stop ♥️
We still cry every time we watch that scene 😩❤️ Bhutanese people are so so generous and incredibly kind, we will never forget our time there. (Also we made sure that little boy got another toothbrush a couple seconds later!)
@@FernwehChronicles they seem like outstanding people!♥️ you guys are truly incredible🫶🏼
If you didn't wanted to share the vedio, then why did you?
@@shubhamgupta-ji9nhIt's called storytelling my friend🎉
Kudos to the parents for raising such awesome young humans. They are one of the most polite, open minded and have great humility. Great job mum and dad.
Such a lovely family. As a Bhutanese, I feel so happy to see your family enjoyed that adventurous journey through high mountains and valleys to one of our remotest yet beautiful village of Laya. The act of that boy returning the toothbrush to Bodhi is what defines Bhutan and why we feel so special to be born in this country rich in compassion, kindness, peace and happiness that are not very common elsewhere today.
Beautiful family in the deepest part of Homalayas. Your beautul kids' rendering cooperation in the tough parts of Bhutan made me cry with admiration. Long live the family and those guides.
I watched this on my couch sick with a cold and asthma - when you guys got out of breath I barely could breathe just thinking about it! Wow - what an adventure that so few would even think about. Your kids are having the most amazing childhood ever! Well done as always - I'm always giddy with excitement when you release a new video. Educational, beautiful, awe inspiring and thought provoking. Happiest Holidays to your beautiful family!
Oh no, I hope you feel better soon! Thanks for coming along and happy holidays to you too!
my prayers to you madam, I hope you recover fast and blessings to you
What a great way to have your kids grow up with all those adventures!
Growing up like this for these children is so lucky. Beautiful and inspiring video. The happy people of Bhutan with this lovely family of 4, just so heartwarming to watch. God bless you all! Thank you for sharing. 😍
The story of four harmonious friends will stay with the kids forever ❤️ ♥️ ❤ ❤
In this time where everyone try to make viral travel vlog, this criminally underrated creator is very distinct! Hats off for the storytelling and filmography. Looking forward to your other adventures sir!
I have been to Bhutan years back and I must say, this brought back all those memories of the destination. Hike to Tiger’s nest was the highlight but we also went cycling in the apple orchard and stays in home stays in small villages. It really a beautiful place and people are just wonderful! Thanks for making this amazing video ❤
its really just breathtaking, I cant imagine
staying at the home stays were provided by the government where we have to book our trio or you personally contacted ?
Thank you! Cycling through orchards sounds amazing!
Making breathtaking videos, hiking and looking after the kids at the same time. You guys are such incredible parents!
Bhutan is our neighbour and is gorgeous. No wonder, this country has the highest rank in the happiness index. The people, culture everything is fascinating. They have preserved it.
Your storytelling skills and filmmaking prowess never cease to amaze me! The way you weave narratives is truly inspiring, creating a captivating journey for your viewers. Each video feels like a cinematic masterpiece, and your ability to engage the audience with your storytelling is a rare talent. Thank you for consistently delivering content that not only entertains but also leaves a lasting impact. Your dedication to your craft shines through, and it's a joy to be part of your audience. Keep up the fantastic work, looking forward to more incredible stories and cinematic experiences from you! You are my GURU now.❤
Keep your tiny country with a small population nice and clean .... It can easily be overwhelmed by foreigners and immigrants ... Long-live Bhutan! ❤
I think this is one of the best documentaries of Bhutan I have ever seen!
I watch a lot of travel vlogs of all sorts on UA-cam but I must say this has to be THE BEST I've ever come across. Well done guys
Wow, thank you! 😅🙏🏻
It makes me so emotional when I see how beautiful life can be in such a simple environment with much less materialistic things than here in Germany and comparable countries.
Of course, it's the impression the video gives that everyone is happy. There are problems everywhere, but I think the more natural life is, the more happiness can exist away from this fast-paced world I come from and soon want to leave behind.
Thank you for the insights and the work you make possible for the world!
your editing skills are out of the world you bring so much emotions through your videos
I really liked the the line,''think hydro power but it's instead hydroprayers.'' Really loved it.
You guys had me crying at 1:17 already! Thank you for this masterpiece! This might be the best things I've seen on UA-cam in years. It hits especially deep because I was fortunate enough to trek to Laya in October for the Royal Highlands Festival, luckily we had better weather but the trek was no joke, Kudos to you guys! It was my 4th trip to Bhutan and just like you mentioned in the outro, it's such a special place you never wanna leave, I'm already planning my 5th trip for October. Thank you guys once again for this beautiful video about one of the most fascinating and breathtaking countries.
❤❤❤
What you do with the camera is purely magic. Storytelling, cinematography, and awesome visuals that stick with the narrative. Hats off.
Thank u for helping our country
