Thanks for this - it reminds me to be humble and centered when the oxygen is such a precious thing. It was definitely amazing when hiking the Himalayas base camp I felt the calm the beauty but just when I back to the city within months - I ve forgot about all these and gotten grumpy and sad easily. Amazing family and experience, bring out the best of Bhutan culture. Looking forward to more of Asia.
I think a grand design has created this family. All kids need such parents who teach them to appreciate all cultures, have a great understanding and a broad outlook that makes true world citizens ❤

I am a Bhutanese and I have never seen such a beautiful cinematography about my country. I can’t stop tearing up watching this. Such a beautiful work of art. I look forward to your returns. Thank you.
I only learned about Bhutan recently and has watched a few videos, and I am just completely blown away by the beauty of this country! If I wasn't a Christian, I would wanna live in one of those monestaries for sure, they look incredibly cool, absolutely love em'. You live in such an amazing country! I will definetly visit one day when I can afford it.
I am a Sri Lankan Buddhist monk and also a 4th year University student. I'm watching this video in 11:48 p.m. Almost clost to the mid night. I don't know how to exferce my feelings. Books I've read and videos I've watched have inspired me to visit Bhutan, but nothing has inspired me more than this video. The scene with the Bodhi and the toothbrush was my favorite moment here. I hope that one day I will be able to fulfill that dream. Thank you to all of you who have inspired me with knowledge and enjoyment that goes beyond mere travel. Now it is 12:03 A.M.
It was breathtaking. Just couldn't hold my tears back in the scene where Bodhi wept, and the little boy came to offer the toothbrush to him. Teaches so much about compassion...blessed to have watched this vide💖
Me too. There is so much emotion all over me when seeing Bodhi being an adorable kid, and the little boy being so ... a good brother (I need a better word, Eng is not my native language).
This is the most authentic channel i had subscribed. You can see their siblings learning in a very holistic way on respect whatever the difference in the race and culture. Kudos to the parents. Its all about the goodness that we need to spread.
I think I’ve cried through the entirity of this video. So many emotions. I felt them all through your beautiful family. I love the way you are raising your kids. Thank you. 🙏🏻
Being a father of 7 daughters and a practitioner of Buddhism watching your children mix with the tribes children was so heart warming it bought me to tears, pity adults can't act more like children, at least for somethings. Thank you for sharing 🙏
Another masterpiece in cinematography but what captured me most were the smiles of your children and the children in the village and the monastery. Such a wealth of experience for them both. How heartwarming when the little boy gave up his toothbrush because Bodhi was crying, and then Bodhi returned it with a smile and a hug.
Kudos to the parents for raising such awesome young humans. They are one of the most polite, open minded and have great humility. Great job mum and dad.
The education you're giving your kids is more valuable than any school can offer. They get what I wish for so many other kids, and adults as well: to learn that they are global citizens in a global community, and that -- rather than human-made boundaries that breed conflict -- is what matters, what allows everyone and the planet to thrive. The animal story said it all. I love how your kids are so open to and comfortable around those who are different (and yet the same). I haven't yet had the breadth of experiences you've had, but living in Georgia (Tbilisi) -- after having lived in Italy insisting that I wanted to be Italian -- opened my eyes to the global community and how being a global citizen is more important.
Bhutan has been my favourite destination of all my travels. Crossing the border from India into Bhutan, and it just hits you how different can 2 countries be going through a gate. The Bhutanese people are fantastic! As always, love your chronicles.
Thanks from Bhutan citizens for visiting our country and exploring the land of happiness, and yes we would like you to welcome your family anytime soon la❤
I love bhutan, Allow them and at the same time protect them, so that they remain a very peaceful and safe place with all its beauty and cultural nobility. Warm greetings from Indonesia.
I am from the Land of Buddha. (Bodhgaya).Being a resident of that town we don't the importance of Buddha. But after watching this video I get to know the Buddhist culture and the importance of Buddha in the other parts of the world. Specially Bhutan. Thanks to you guys for making this incredible video.
Fernweh Chronicles, your unique approach to raising kids is truly inspiring! Instead of aspiring to explore lavish destinations like Dubai or LA, your children are beautifully immersed in diverse cultures, discovering the true gems like Bhutan. It's refreshing to see a focus on meaningful experiences and genuine learning. Kudos to you for fostering a global perspective in such a captivating way!
Storytelling is next level! So crazy to hear locals say they havent seen other kid tourists in their country/near their tribe. What an experience your family is taking.
Your children are so kind and well mannered. And they look really young, but seem to have a wisdom and calmness with them. Good job for raising such beautiful kids..all the way from South Africa❤❤
Guys, this is truly an other masterpiece. Really love how you blend incredible captures with the most immersive storytelling. Lou shed a tear for the toothbrush story 😅 Congrats on this new release. Truly inspiring
Such a lovely family. As a Bhutanese, I feel so happy to see your family enjoyed that adventurous journey through high mountains and valleys to one of our remotest yet beautiful village of Laya. The act of that boy returning the toothbrush to Bodhi is what defines Bhutan and why we feel so special to be born in this country rich in compassion, kindness, peace and happiness that are not very common elsewhere today.
Been to Bhutan 2 weeks back. Can relate to the mesmerising and unique experience one gets on visiting the Country, especially the warmth of the people, and devoid of materialism.
Never has a travel documentary made me so emotional. Your storytelling moves me every time, is it okay to confess that I cried along with Bodhi when he wanted the toothbrush and was also so in joy along with him when he gave it back to the Bhutanese kid? Gosh, you guys are amazing!!! No better education than travel, like it opens up our eyes to different perspectives and am I glad for your kids or am I glad!!!
I'm Bhutanese. I have never seen such beautiful cinematography. It's truely amazing. Truely an amazing family. My first time commenting, but it was such an amazing experience just watching this video makes me excited to explore my country too

Anyways love your videos, and it’s always so exciting whenever I see you guys upload a new video!

These little kids are so lucky to have these kind of parents. they're traveling at a small age it will build there character and make them kind to people.Travelling teach people to live in a another way.
I watched this on my couch sick with a cold and asthma - when you guys got out of breath I barely could breathe just thinking about it! Wow - what an adventure that so few would even think about. Your kids are having the most amazing childhood ever! Well done as always - I'm always giddy with excitement when you release a new video. Educational, beautiful, awe inspiring and thought provoking. Happiest Holidays to your beautiful family!
You have tought your children well through these adventures. And that is completely visible in the way that they talk and behave. Great job! Like a 3 year old and a 5 year old giving interview level answers.
I have been to Bhutan years back and I must say, this brought back all those memories of the destination. Hike to Tiger’s nest was the highlight but we also went cycling in the apple orchard and stays in home stays in small villages. It really a beautiful place and people are just wonderful! Thanks for making this amazing video ❤
In this time where everyone try to make viral travel vlog, this criminally underrated creator is very distinct! Hats off for the storytelling and filmography. Looking forward to your other adventures sir!
The luckiest kiddos on earth. Their parents are also amazing people and are giving their children the world with cultures and language, hospitality, memories. Humility. Its something i wish i had growing up. The oxygen is the toughest and altitude sickness is no joke.
It makes me so emotional when I see how beautiful life can be in such a simple environment with much less materialistic things than here in Germany and comparable countries. Of course, it's the impression the video gives that everyone is happy. There are problems everywhere, but I think the more natural life is, the more happiness can exist away from this fast-paced world I come from and soon want to leave behind. Thank you for the insights and the work you make possible for the world!
You guys had me crying at 1:17 already! Thank you for this masterpiece! This might be the best things I've seen on UA-cam in years. It hits especially deep because I was fortunate enough to trek to Laya in October for the Royal Highlands Festival, luckily we had better weather but the trek was no joke, Kudos to you guys! It was my 4th trip to Bhutan and just like you mentioned in the outro, it's such a special place you never wanna leave, I'm already planning my 5th trip for October. Thank you guys once again for this beautiful video about one of the most fascinating and breathtaking countries.
Every road, every mountain path, every stones, the mountains, the children, the people, they all sang, the joyous songs of your beautiful family's joyous songs of travel in Bhutan.
Beautiful family in the deepest part of Homalayas. Your beautul kids' rendering cooperation in the tough parts of Bhutan made me cry with admiration. Long live the family and those guides.
Your storytelling and filmmaking skills are one of the best I've seen within the travel niche (or on UA-cam as a whole) and I know millions of other people will agree with me. Nice work and can't wait to see your next video 🧡
Your kids are going through a lot of experiences in every trip of yours. They seem to have grown a lot from each experience and they have to be so lucky to have you as parents. You probably are giving them some of the best momemts that they'll ever have. Kudos, George and family!
The part where the little boy comes up and gives Bodhi his toothbrush just so he stops crying - had me in tears (literally). Thank you for sharing these incredible videos with us. I have watched almost all of your videos and can't wait for more! Great work with the cinematography, as always!
Yeah, that was so sweet! 🥹 He did also get another toothbrush it just didn’t make it on film. 😅 Thanks for coming along and a lot more is in the works. ❤️
Great to see your not just in our country just to enjoy the scenery and all but the fact that your helping out the locals in your own little way is just so precious ❤
The cinematography 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼. I can’t stop tearing up from the welcome scarf up to the end. I can’t imagine how beautifully overwhelming to be in this country. I wish i could go sooner. 🙏🏻
Every video of yours, you take us on these surreal journey, as a part of your family:) we travel with you just like Liv and Bodhi, with a sense of joy and amusement. Your story telling is amazing. Thank you for what you do, as a family!
Growing up like this for these children is so lucky. Beautiful and inspiring video. The happy people of Bhutan with this lovely family of 4, just so heartwarming to watch. God bless you all! Thank you for sharing. 😍
Wow!
Your daughter is a true epitome of a child nurtured under loving and responsive parents. Despite being young, she seems to be a very perspicacious traveller, who truly acknowledges and appreciates the essence of holding other’s culture in one’s regards. As for Bodhi, he has been the cynosure throughout your travavlog. Kudos for your commendable parenting and for grandiosely curtain calling the regality of Bhutan. Best wishes and warm regards.
As parents what you are doing exposing Liv and Bodhi to other cultures is something they will be very proud of when they grown up There is a lot others can learn from you Georg and Tara Such beautiful memories you two are creating- Is the Actual Treasure With Love God bless you All
Your kids must be grateful to experience this journey and whenever they see this video in the future as they grow up. Amazing parents, God bless your heart.
you are quite literally the best cinematographer, and those children are so lucky to have parents like you. I'm in awe every time i watch a video of yours
We have been gifted two amazing videos in a months time. Another inspiring masterpiece guys 😊 Loved the Bhutan visuals. The storytelling is brilliant as usual. Love from India 😊👏
You guys are making these memories and saving it up, for generations to look back in time and watch you, those are some of the most beautiful filmmaking videos I've seen. These kids are luckiest to have parents like you who capture their lives so that they can come back at it when they want to. Keep the videos coming ❤❤..

I just miss my beautiful home and country Bhutan 🇧🇹 thank you for this masterpiece.. love to the beautiful family from mine ❤
Always been curious to know if Bodhi's name was inspired from the Bodhi tree. And as always, an AMAZING Fernweh journey that we all get to be a part of! 💯❤️
Being my neighbouring country, I go to Bhutan often. It is really an amazing country with unique identity, including its carbon-free natural atmosphere. Love Bhutan and respect its culture.
I’ve seen these kids grow up through these videos. They’re probably some of the luckiest kids in the entire world. God bless this family.

14:13 I'm crying, how beautiful their soul 🥲
What a great way to have your kids grow up with all those adventures!
Travelled to Bhutan in 2019 and i was in awe. They are the most nicest people i have ever met!
And this video truly does justice to Bhutan's beauty.
I watch a lot of travel vlogs of all sorts on UA-cam but I must say this has to be THE BEST I've ever come across. Well done guys
Wow, thank you! 😅🙏🏻
Out of all your journey in bhutan, i love the way you served for monks. cooking for them is just an amazing deeds you had done......❤
❤❤❤
I think this is one of the best documentaries of Bhutan I have ever seen!
What you do with the camera is purely magic. Storytelling, cinematography, and awesome visuals that stick with the narrative. Hats off.
Every road, every mountain path, every stones, the mountains, the children, the people, they all sang, the joyous songs of your beautiful family's joyous songs of travel in Bhutan.
Outstanding video as always! Your talent shines through your videos. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your journey ❤
Thank YOU for being a part of this journey! 🙏🏻❤️
I also had been to Bhutan and the people in Bhutan are so kind , it completely feels like home there.
Literally bawling my eyes out over the little boy giving away his toothbrush 😭
Your kids are going through a lot of experiences in every trip of yours. They seem to have grown a lot from each experience and they have to be so lucky to have you as parents. You probably are giving them some of the best momemts that they'll ever have. Kudos, George and family!
Bawling my eyes out. This is so beautiful. Thank you for taking us with you on this wonderful journey. Much love to your beautiful family.
The part where the little boy comes up and gives Bodhi his toothbrush just so he stops crying - had me in tears (literally). Thank you for sharing these incredible videos with us. I have watched almost all of your videos and can't wait for more! Great work with the cinematography, as always!

Every video of yours, you take us on these surreal journey, as a part of your family:) we travel with you just like Liv and Bodhi, with a sense of joy and amusement. Your story telling is amazing. Thank you for what you do, as a family!
Thank you! And thank you for coming along on our little and big adventures! 🙏🏻❤️
As parents what you are doing exposing Liv and Bodhi to other cultures is something they will be very proud of when they grown up
There is a lot others can learn from you Georg and Tara
Such beautiful memories you two are creating- Is the Actual Treasure
With Love
God bless you All
❤️
Your kids must be grateful to experience this journey and whenever they see this video in the future as they grow up. Amazing parents, God bless your heart.

"it's not always easy - and the reminder that you can do hard things". Travel is such a great teacher.

Being my neighbouring country, I go to Bhutan often. It is really an amazing country with unique identity, including its carbon-free natural atmosphere. Love Bhutan and respect its culture.
