Which Zelda moment gave you the biggest chills?
My personal favorite cutscene which is also the most underrated scene in Zelda was in Majora’s mask when Link plays the song of healing and Pamela’s father turns back to normal. It’s so simple yet so touching.
I'm still Your Zelda was a knife in the chest and the reason why I love Skyward Sword so much
I don't really remember a concept in entertaining media where a character survives its execution and immediately kills the executioner. So after almost 18 years this cutscene still slaps
The mid-credits scene for Twilight Princess where Midna fully destroys the mirror was just heart-breaking to me and stands out as one of the best cutscenes.
Sonia's death due to how unexpected and quick the whole situation escalated.
for me it has to be the moment zelda turns into a dragon, such a powerful scene
One of the most heartbreaking was Midna's sacrifice, and Ganon breaking her empty mask in his hand. Leading to the sadness of her later goodbye... dangit that game pulls at heartstrings!
The Zelda Cutscenes that REALLY sent Chills Down my Spine is seeing Ganondorf himself alive in the Beginning Game of
I think Midna's departure is even more heart wrenching than Fi's, as she destroyed the only gateway, making it no longer possible for them to see each other again, unlike what Fi said.
The giants stopping the moon!! my favorite of all time, especially with the music playing in the background
Shoutout to learning where the name "Tears of the Kingdom" came from, as you finally learn the Divine Dragon's origin and Zelda's resolve. Genuinely made me choke up and almost cry.
In the Secret Ending of Tears of the Kingdom, Mineru had theorized that reversing Zelda’s Draconification requires Sonia’s Time power and Rauru’s Light Power to be channeled through Link’s arm; but activating magic is also in need of strong motive. That is when Zelda smiles at her knight knowing how much his princess means to him.
The Legend of Zelda is incredible
One of my favorites is in Between Worlds, when we finally realize that Hilda was the one behind the scheme to resurrect Ganon to get the triforce back to her kingdom.
The last catch in TOTK is my favorite ending playable cutscene ever. Magnificent
Glad you did include Link's and Epona's victory pose from Twilight Princess. Some minor ones I also like: the rising of the Tower of the Gods in Wind Waker, Link pulling the Master Sword (every game), Majora's Mask has several like the Giants stopping the moon, those that are about the Skull Kid, the interloper creepy scene in Twilight Princess.
Mineru’s tale about the Imprisoning War and Rauru’s sacrifice is more narrative than the same retelling the same story that was told by the Ancient Sages in Tears of the Kingdom.
I somehow forget how goddamned cinematic Zelda games can be. The BotW/TotK era is epic in scope, WW, TP and SS are legendary with their stories and characterization, and Link's Awakening and OoT are melancholy as fuck!
The thing I would like to include in
