Let alone understanding his true desire since we have seen a part of his awe on the green lands of Hyrule over the harsh environment of Gerudo Deserts in Windwaker.
My biggest question is, what happened to the divine beasts after BotW? They are not present or even mentioned inTotK. Something so big (literaly) is hard to hide.
According to one of the development leads, they just up and disappeared one day. However, he also somewhat said that nobody really cared and chalked it off as another of Hyrule's great mysteries, so the speculation may continue.
If Nintendo was willing to make a Zelda MMO they could involve almost every major Race. Deku Scrubs, Kokiri/Korok, Goron, Zora, Gerudo, Rito, Twili, Zonai, Picori, Shiekah, Hylian, etc. Some of them may not become playable (at least at first) but most would/could.

I'm personally of the opinion that BotW/TotK is set in the timeline _waaaay_ back in Skyward Sword that was created when Link crushed The Imprisoned/Demise, then disappeared chasing after Ghirahim & Zelda into the past. This is the Hyrule that the Zonai descended to and created their own Hyrule Kingdom - one where the symbolism of the Triforce is known but the artifact itself is lost as is the truth behind Hylia. Meaning that Link defeating Demise, the famous curse, and their "return" to the present was really an entirely new timeline from which the rest of the Zelda series is based upon. After all, the Imprisoned couldn't exist if he (as Demise) was destroyed in the past - the entirety is Skyward Sword is based on the timeline where Link chases Ghirahim & Zelda into the past, dies at the hand of Demise, who is then "Imprisoned" by Zelda/Hylia.
It seems odd that he would be Twilight Link's ancestor despite being trapped in the Lost Woods until he died. So perhaps Link just was reborn like Ganondorf would be whenever a Male Gerudo was born. Cause it can explain why there's 2 Links in TP and 2 Ganon's in BotW/TotK.
I think the reason why tingle is reincarnated is because he’s ganon. Think about it tingle is always overcharging for maps. That’s something only a demon king would do. Beedle just ages very well.
I gave up trying to fit BoTW and ToTK into any of the three canon timelines. There's just too many unanswered variables to deal with. I like to think that while these games were hinted as being at the tail-end of the timeline, they're actually part of a brand new timeline. One where the Zonai had to overcome some kind of great event that led to their near extinction, where the goddesses hold a more active role in shaping the world, and where there's a broader world outside of Hyrule, as hinted by Sidon's wife. Who knows; if we ever get a Hyrule Historia vol.2 maybe we'll get some official answers. Cheers!
Actually the Legend of Zelda Majora’s Mask Manga answers more about the mask including how it was actually created. Formed from the hide of a monstrous beast, whose hide was supposedly able to grant any wish, a lone warrior, forced the beast with a magic drum to dance endlessly for three days and nights as the souls of the beast’s victims forced him to do so. When the beast had breathed its last, the warrior carved Majora’s Mask from his hide, to seal the wishing powers.
They did say that Zelda travels back to the beginning of a new kingdom of Hyrule in totk but the timeline is still a mystery I think it's supposed to be a merging of the timelines just to make things easier with a more uniform singular timeline from here on out.
Song of Storms: The original song is presented on Majora's Mask. In fact, it is a paradox. But on an alternative point where Link doesn't learnt before, he would learn after all the first journey.
It terms of the timeline, I believe Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom are the ONLY games on the timeline and every other game is a story/legend. I’ve read other comments comparing The Depths to The Dark World which I think the Depths mirrors Lorule more than The Dark World. I do think Skyward Sword happens because the statues of the goddess Hylia are everywhere but I think it occurs differently than the game describes since Ganondorf appears as “The Demon King” in the flashbacks. I also believe that the three dragons were Zonai who swallowed their stones and became dragons but are also the inspiration for the story of the Golden Goddesses. Also an interesting mystery is they Triforce carving has the three symbols from the orbs you have to retrieve in Wind Waker, interesting coincidence?
Majora’s mask kinda does explains it by the manga after reading the whole thing, even brought up the fierce deity, who is the lone traveler after hearing the rumors of a man eating monster (Mojora), the lone traveler kinda tells the monster, oh you don’t have anything or anyone to eat. But the monster kinda does feel regretful (I read the book and I didn’t get that vibe from the man eating monster feeling regret at all, it’s just me ig) and after the lone traveler played music for him, three days and nights, that’s when time was able to move in where the traveler and monster were, (Termina) thus the traveler taking a part of the armor the monster had and making it Mojora’s mask.
i'm pretty sure Nintendo had intended that every Legend of Zelda game were going to be a standalone title like how most of the Final Fantasy games are. hence, why the games are all over the place. the reason they released that book that explains the timeline and how they're all connected was for money.
Nintendo screwed up entertaining the idea of a timeline. Apart from direct connection games. Just state retelling of a legend which as time passes differs more and more.
It's not just the ocarina of Time the master sword has the ability to control time as well it actually has several forgotten abilities in skyward sword which was the making of the master sword it was originally called The goddess sword I think Fi is the goddess of time because I skyward sword you need to upgrade the master sword giving it enough sacred power to hit slabs of stone with a skyward strike creating a Time gate and in ocarina of Time putting the master sword back in the pedestal transported link through Tim. it also explains why the master sword can repair itself no matter the the damage it takes and it has the potential to be infinitely powerful if bathed in sacred power long enough
BOTW and TOTK take place at the end of all 3 timelines, but DON’T take place right at the merging. Zelda’s Time Travel Adventure is possibly right at the merging or just after.
@@thecartoonsemotion yes, of course. And at the time Hyrule Historia came out, it was correct. BUT, is it stated somewhere that OoT Ganondorf is still alive, or is he dead by the time of BOTW/TOTK?
@@Gogopowerandy OoT's Ganon finally died in BOTW, Ganondorf from TOTK was sealed in all Hyrule's history releasing his hatred and power creating monsters, enemies etc because this is he way Demise's come true his curse (OoT Ganon, Bellum, Vaati etc are a part of him too).
Beedle isn’t relevant in the slightest, tingle is also not relevant same with Dampe. Why would random people that had no relevance to link Zelda or ganon lobbed into a reincarnation cycle with them. And no it’s not people that helped link because if that’s the case many others that did way more than them would be reincarnated as well. Impa was given power and an important roll to play in SS so makes sense Impa is reincarnated. That’s the only one that’s explained tho. You can sum up the others are just being readded for Easter eggs. I mean tingle is a wtf character you wouldn’t know unless you played mm.
@@zedmiasma7304 Beedle the guy who supplies link with quest items, arrows that guy? Tingle the guy who made maps which link uses, who also upgrades your equipment? Dampe the guy link got his hook shot from?
@@zedmiasma7304 tingle is in more than one game not just MM. Oracle of ages gives link chart for exploring the sea, also upgrades equipment. Wind Waker (original releases) give link his “tingle tuner” which allows him to help link(wii u remake changed this gives u a map to his island instead). He’s in four swords and also Minish Cap in which you get the magic boomerang after collecting his kin stones.
I wonder if the Zonai is the connection between the Rito and the Zorra, since they are land-based, air-based, and water-based respectively. Pair them with the Gorons, and you have one race for every ancient element, with the Gorons representing fire.
Regarding the timeline placement of BOTW and TOTK, I've always thought the timeline was overrated. Becoming engrossed in the lore and history of the game at hand's lore and history as described in the game has always been sufficient for me.
There are 5 burning mysteries that had left us from both #BreathoftheWild and #TearsoftheKingdom: -Other religions/lands outside of Hyrule (since Sidon's wife Yona is from a different Zora's domain and possibly tied to your 'Across the Canyon'(13:14) ) - The Ancient Hero, Sheikah Tech and the history of Calamity Ganon - Link's family since we have seen his father and sister from the BOTW concept art - The origins of the Zonai since Mineru and King Rauru are the only members - Ganondorf's true desire and motives other then conquering Hyrule with Sonai's Sacred Stone. - Twinrova's whereabouts (Since we have seen Kotake and Koume made brief appearance in both Gerudo Assult and A Show of Fealty memories and their names are written in the Gloom weapons)

Hyrule Warriors marks the beginning of the Reunified Timeline. Its sequel, Age Of Calamity, is a prequel to Breath Of The Wild. I figured out the masked kids looked like the salesman by looking at their hair.
I believe The Eldin Dark Skeleton might be Volvagia, and The Gerudo Dark Skeleton could be Stallord(We never saw the rest of his body.) But I just can't figure out what the Hebra Dark Skeleton could be.
The biggest mystery of all that was never mentioned in this video and till this day I still think about… IS THE MASK SALESMAN! The guy is creepy and he has powers! How does he travel through the forest without a fairy and not turn into a Stalfos!? Where does he get his powers from!? How did he learn the “Song of Healing? Why does he magically appear and disappear at will!? Why is it that the only place where time stands still is inside the clock tower where ironically the mask salesman so happens to be there!? Why did he wanted to obtain the Majora’s Mask in the first lance when he knew that mask was powerful enough to destroy the world!? So many questions and even when you beat Majora’s Mask you never get answers.
Isn’t Sonia the goddess of time? I would assume her manipulation of time and her being one of the founders of Hyrule alongside her Zonai god husband, Rauru, would make her a goddess of time, right?
They actually have a non canon explanation of majora in the manga a beast of enormous power that eats anyone who challenges him but some traveler played a song that the beast danced to of 3 day and 3 nights then one the 4th day they beast drops dead his power was sealed in his armor and the traveler carved his armor to Majora's mask and said his power will rest for the rest of time
The traveller also ressembled the Fierce Deity suggesting he himself became a mask to be worn by a future Hero in need of divine power to counter Majora's.
Yeah, that 'debatable canon' is the sticking point, tho I think that the swordsman was the Terminan version of Link, and that when someone mentions the Link of a given era having the "spirit of the hero", they're being literal; like how all our Zeldas, it's specifically _Hylia_ operating as her soul, that Link has a similar demigod soul-- amd to go meta, that it's specifically _us,_ the player(s).
@@Xunkun Do remember that Hylia and the many Zeldas across the timeline are NOT the _same individual_ reincarnated as their own ancestor/descendant but seperate beings altogether who only share Hylia's magical powers without been her. Just saying in case that's what you were trying to suggest in regards to Hylia.
@@Xunkuntermina isn’t a parallel universe. It was a transition error in the game booklet and the creator himself confirmed that its the same universe and world just in a distance land away from hyrule. So the entire theory falls apart by an actual canon explanation given by the creator himself. The fierce deity is not a different version of link. Majora’s mask was used by the twilight people from twilight princess during rituals it even says so in the game itself. The dark magic that was exposed to the ritual mask, majora’s mask, gained magical power in some unknown way. The manga is not canon. At all.
Nintendo never should've given into the fan theories about timelines; it was made clear to me they regretted it with the way BotW and TotK treated the timelines.
They didn’t give in? It’s their timeline. They continually made sequels since the beginning. It just became hard to follow when mm, tp and ww were all sequels to oot. So fans asked for an explanation and Nintendo gave it. Auonuma said there was a master list only a few had seen. Had a timeline with possible future games and games that never came to be. Fujibayashi is the reason the timeline is jacked. All of the games he developed have gone against established lore in some form. Then with botw and totk he’s just trying to take over the franchise and put his name on it. Wish aounuma would develop again.
I think Zelda is the only licence which work where all of this is left to the imagination its fine if you can connect the the dots but its even better if it's let unexplained and up to the imagination of everyone
The biggest mystery of Tears of the Kingdom… if the first born daughter of every King and Queen of Hyrule is, by tradition, named Zelda, why is the first Queen of Hyrule NOT named Zelda?!?!
I think one of the BIGGEST mysteries is how in skyward sword they have floating islands and it reappears in tears of the kingdom. Why does it reappear so long after skyward sword happened?
Well, some believe that the Link to the Past manual, which shows one picture of the Sacred Realm, was used near 1-to-1 design the overall structure of Skyloft. I think the reflection is meant that as SS is the very start of the timeline, BotW, then TorK, are meant as the very end.
Navi the 🧚♂️ isn't really a mystery because if you remember in ocarina of time she was involved from the beginning of the game by the tree spirit in the original forest (link,s starting point in the game itself)but when the sword was returned back to the pedestal navi,s job was done so she left🤔
Left where. That’s the point. Navi traveled all over with link, so she was involved in all time lines and there’s zero explanation of where or what happened happened to Navi. Not even a single hint. Can’t say since link was sent back in time by Zelda they never met because link was sent back to RIGHT WHEN he grabbed the master sword so the deku tree is already dead and Navi was already with link. It’s the biggest mystery because there’s not a single hint at where Navi could be. Went to rest after saving the world? Sure, but also decided to disappear and not say a word to anyone not even link?
@@zedmiasma7304 her job was to help link when it was done she left she didn't show up again until she was needed once again to help link in majoras mask🤔
that maybe true but it doesn't explain what happened to Navi afterward,s did she just vanish into thin air never to be seen or heard from ever again(i wonder🤔)
@@zedmiasma7304i wonder because if link was truly sent back in time by Zelda then the curse on the tree wouldn't have happened 🤔 and the tree would of never been cursed in the first place🤔🙏

-I still think BOTW's timeline takes place in the Downfall Timeline. There is a stone slab that mentions something about Ruto becoming a sage which did not happen in the child timeline. The Zora's are apparently extinct in the Adult timeline and the old Hyrule doesn't really exist anymore. Spirit Tracks is in a completely different land. -Well the Song of Storms is clearly in the land of Termina. Don't know how it ended up in Hyrule though. -I think the Interlopers are the Sheikah or maybe Gerudo or both. -Where the hell is Link's family in Skyward Sword? Are they dead? In the Twilight Princess manga Link is apparently an outsider and hasn't always lived in Ordon Village. Makes sense since he's the only Hylian living there. Everyone else is a normal human. -6:26 I give this ghost hand a boyfriend. Since this guy will get rejected by the girl he admires I decide to give him another girlfriend. 6:57 Don't ask me what I want the paper for... I think she wants to wipe her butt with it. -I think the Rito look different in Breath of the Wild because it's another timeline. The Zora that left Zora's Domain evolved into the Rito. -Isn't Navi dead? -I think the Sheikah in Breath of the Wild are all descendants of Impa. -15:37 I actually have made this soup. I think I should make it again soon since it's pumpkin season. In the Twilight Princess manga, the old ruin house was featured as Ashei's former home before her family abandons it. Her manga counterparts knows about the Yeti couple who moved into her old house and after she learns that they aren't a danger, Ashei allows them to make the ice covered ruin house their home. -I assume the other reappearing characters are relatives of the previous one. -20:00 I don't think the Gerudo existed yet so it probably wasn't Ganon.
There are references to *all* the timelines in both Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom so it's clear Nintendo wants players to deduce the Era of the Wild takes place thousands of years after all the 3 timelines.

16:05 for the snowy house the official Zelda manga tells us why it was built who it belongs to and some backstory on it
i'm pretty sure Nintendo had intended that every Legend of Zelda game were going to be a standalone title like how most of the Final Fantasy games are. hence, why the games are all over the place. the reason they released that book that explains the timeline and how they're all connected was for money.
I must admit interesting thoughts spelling needs work but thanks for sharing 🤔
BOTW and TOTK take place at the end of all 3 timelines, but DON’T take place right at the merging. Zelda’s Time Travel Adventure is possibly right at the merging or just after.
Hyrule history and enciclopedy say there's not another male gerudo after Ganondorf's Ocarina, so Zelda traveled before Ocarina's time.
@@thecartoonsemotion see, after TOTK came out, I thought Calamity Ganon was an evolved form of Phantom Ganon.

@17:08 I think its people who aid link that are reincarnated along side him and added to the cycle of life and rebirth
I thought they were relatives of the previous one.
I have started to think that that Breath of the Wild and Tears of that Kingdom are a separate timeline or Universe.
Me too
TotK made a dogs dinner of the timeline.
Regarding the timeline placement of BOTW and TOTK, I've always thought the timeline was overrated. Becoming engrossed in the lore and history of the game at hand's lore and history as described in the game has always been sufficient for me.
The barbarian armour bares some resemblance to the guards in the past of TotK. They were Hylians.
There are 5 burning mysteries that had left us from both #BreathoftheWild and #TearsoftheKingdom:
-Other religions/lands outside of Hyrule (since Sidon's wife Yona is from a different Zora's domain and possibly tied to your 'Across the Canyon'(13:14) )
- The Ancient Hero, Sheikah Tech and the history of Calamity Ganon
- Link's family since we have seen his father and sister from the BOTW concept art
- The origins of the Zonai since Mineru and King Rauru are the only members
- Ganondorf's true desire and motives other then conquering Hyrule with Sonai's Sacred Stone.
- Twinrova's whereabouts (Since we have seen Kotake and Koume made brief appearance in both Gerudo Assult and A Show of Fealty memories and their names are written in the Gloom weapons)
The land beyond hyrule will probably be expanded a bit possibly in a port of TOTK on the next console but the main focus of a sequel to TOTK.
@@jockson7574 Let's hope the sequel to TOTk does allow us to see other races with different cultures than what Hyrule has.
Thu, continue with Link x Zelda's relationship as her now is about to be her consort.
@@jockson7574 i was hoping they will make one more sequel to botw/totk before they move on to the next new world because i would still like to explore the land regions beyond hyrule and to find kass and where yona came from.and maybe find other races too.

The real mystery is who taught the inhabitants to celebrate/party so well. Everyone looks so happy. 😂😂
What happened to Urbosa after Breath of the Wild? (Alot of Characters were brought back in TOK, Urbosa was Not one of them).
Hyrule Warriors marks the beginning of the Reunified Timeline. Its sequel, Age Of Calamity, is a prequel to Breath Of The Wild.
I figured out the masked kids looked like the salesman by looking at their hair.
There are those out there that are ADAMANT that Age of Calamity is not canon. I put its canonicity in some weird gray area, personally.
Hyrule warriors is not canon. That game did not reunify the timeline. Nintendo has never claimed it to be part of the timeline.
I believe The Eldin Dark Skeleton might be Volvagia, and The Gerudo Dark Skeleton could be Stallord(We never saw the rest of his body.) But I just can't figure out what the Hebra Dark Skeleton could be.
I also wonder what really happened to Navi the fairy after she left link alone in the temple of time it,s a mystery yet to be solved🤔🙏
I think in TOTK Hylia as the goddes of Time was comfirmed.
Yeah, that 'debatable canon' is the sticking point, tho
I think that the swordsman was the Terminan version of Link, and that when someone mentions the Link of a given era having the "spirit of the hero", they're being literal; like how all our Zeldas, it's specifically _Hylia_ operating as her soul, that Link has a similar demigod soul-- amd to go meta, that it's specifically _us,_ the player(s).
At all.
I wish they would admit that the Zonai are the aliens from OoT.. 😂😂
Nice
0:12 ah yes my favourite game twilight princess hd

I would love the kokiri to come back one day but it appears koroks have replaced them
They were going to bring them back. In botw. Too bad. I hate the koroks
Clearly, every mystery does require an answer
I think Zelda is the only licence which work where all of this is left to the imagination
its fine if you can connect the the dots but its even better if it's let unexplained and up to the imagination of everyone
I thought Breath and Tears took place in the timeline where the hero loses
I think so too.
References to ALL 3 timelines suggest otherwise.
@@javiervasquez625 So? Majora's Mask probably exists in all three timelines.
@@zachtwilightwindwaker596 So? That means ALL the timelines are canon to the Era of the Wild.

I hope that eventually, Nintendo takes the timeline into modern day. Hyrule Kingdom but with modern weapons, and technology.
What a dumb comment
"With nothing official" the timeline is on Nintendo's website and puts the 2 latest games at a converging point
The biggest mystery of Tears of the Kingdom… if the first born daughter of every King and Queen of Hyrule is, by tradition, named Zelda, why is the first Queen of Hyrule NOT named Zelda?!?!
Hyrule historia explains that tradition stars after the kingdom's foundation.
0:12 I don’t think that’s Twilight Princess HD 😂
I think one of the BIGGEST mysteries is how in skyward sword they have floating islands and it reappears in tears of the kingdom. Why does it reappear so long after skyward sword happened?
Well, some believe that the Link to the Past manual, which shows one picture of the Sacred Realm, was used near 1-to-1 design the overall structure of Skyloft.
I think the reflection is meant that as SS is the very start of the timeline, BotW, then TorK, are meant as the very end.
how did the hand fall in love though

The Goddess of Time is represented by the upside triangle space in the center of the Triforce when all 3 respective Triforce Shards are together making the Iconic Triforce sysmbol.
And what happens to me in Tears of the kingdom

The tribe banished to the twilight realm were the gerudo thats why they are nonexistant in twilight princess.
Then why is Ganondorf still there and criticizing Midna about how petty her tribes magic is?
@@ilovemydoberman80 that was after he was brought back the king midnas ancestors are talking about was ganondorf
@@ilovemydoberman80 midna is a decendant so ganondorf was already in the twilight realm before she was born and when he saw zant how strong his ambition was to over throw the royals he housed his powers in zant what ganondorf means about the pathetic is that they have power but refuse to use it to try to take over the triforce like he and his tribe at the time did aka the gerudo

Dark Link is not hard boss
Half the time I feel like MojoPlays hosts just love to hear themselves talk - a good part of these are literally explained, ironically enough, by other parts in the series you also note as “unsolved” - instead of giving us lazy clickbait, actually providing resolutions to formerly unsolved mysteries may actually help your channel. 🙄
0:11 That's not Twilight Princess🤨🤨🤔🤔
How is Zelda a descendent of Sonia and Rauru if they both died before having children
