I am using MS 365 paid version on iPad Pro 2020... Now, word is not working properly. All my previous word doc opening as read only. I can't edit them in iPad. It is frustrating. I have uninstalled and reinstalled word app several times, it is not working. Please help me to solve the problem.
All the docs open as read-only to guard against mistake edits. Open the word app, click the document, hit the pencil (✏) icon to edit the doc. Now if you're accessing the doc through your one drive app then you'll have 2 options: first, you'll have the option of opening the doc in Word through One Drive (a redirection if Word is installed also), and secondly, you'll have the option of "marking up" a pdf version of the file when pressing the pencil icon. This is powerful because you may want to sign the document and you'll be to do so while simultaneously creating a pdf file.
