The A5 B8,5 is such an great car, reliable, cheap to maintain (if you do it yourself) and stil looks great for its age
But nowhere as fun to drive as a BMW 4
the look of b8.5 a5 is the best looking generation. That’s also the reason why I bought b8.5 rs5
Nice car. It does make it difficult to justify the cost of ownership. I learned how to work on cars earle in my life, because I couldn't afford normal mantanance.
I have the Sline also, what do you use to clean your interior in between getting it detail. I also leave the dealer as my very last resort for any kind of maintenance
the dealer is very high with anything you bring to them lol. And I love Meguiars products for the inside and outside of my car! one of my personal favs is the rich leather cleaner and conditioner. it smells great and you can tell the difference when you use it!
As a mechanic who owns this car aswell i can say having it near a shop is a major game changer had the car for 4 years running no major problems at all i can tell you this the trinity of cars (spark plugs fuel injectors and R8 coils ) keep that in check always
The maintenance u just did to your car I do it my self on my Audi a5 and is super cheap and I m not a mechanic you save the 500 or 600 installation fee
Agreed. Dealer asked me to change all rotors and brake pads and price is $1700. So I paid all tools (jack, jack stand, tool set, Milwaukee power tool set, etc) for $1,100 and $420 for rotors and pads from FCP. I also used the tools to do maintenance for my RX350 too. Saved a lot of money.
Nice video I'm actually thinking of buying an A5 coupe or sportback. I was wondering are they expensive to maintain. Deciding between an 2016 a5 coupe or an 2018 a5 sportback
You should definitely get one! And the maintenance isn’t bad especially if you find another place to take it for service! If you are looking for more hp from them look at the s5. That’s where I made a mistake but I still love my A5. And make sure you check both years out before you buy. I don’t care for some parts in the 2018 it feels cheaper than the 2016.

I prefer the Jeep Wrangler and lifted it’s rlly nice I have one it’s white and black with black and a bit of chrome rims it’s a v6 and I also have a Audi A5 2.0T Quattro 2013 coupe it’s great too
For my srt jeep the Michelin super sports were 2600$ for all 4

Lmao thank you. If you do some things on your own it’s actually affordable. But if you don’t know how then yes it can get expensive very quick!
If you don’t know how to work on your car all cars can be expensive for maintenance, just watch some UA-cam tutorials

its a 2015. they are really fun cars I love mine. You don't have to take it to the dealer I do because of the records. im unsure if im going to sell it or not that's the only reason I take it to the dealer.
Nice car - where'd you find the RS rims and how much did they cost?
Not sure where you can find them. Mine came with the rs wheels and the R8 style flat bottom steering wheel.

No problems out of mine like that at all!
B8 A5s 2.0t had the oil consumption issue, needed to change piston rings to solve it I believe. After 2013, the 2.0t engine was free of the oil consumption issue.
I’m thinking of getting a5 2013 with 110 miles, what do you think, is it worth it?
It just depends on what you’re plans are with it.

It’s not bad at all to me it’s reasonable! My main two things that cost the most would be tires and oil changes.

There is zero reason to use the dealer for maintenance. Almost every car is exactly the same as far as oil changes, spark plug changes, etc
