Tell Janet she can come and do my ironing after she finishes….😶🌫️..__ 🤣😂. It’s a good job I am thousands of miles away…. Love you really Janet. Ross is totally correct and logically sound about crease dropping out with body heat. 😝
It looks great ,but you've worked that body of yours to the max for years and it's no wonder you are getting hurt more then you did the last long hard years. On the bright side you are almost done and you can kick back and enjoy the fruit of your labor real soon. It's going to be great watching you and janet enjoying life seeing new places . Just be careful so you will be able to live the life you've worked so hard to have for many years to come.
Even with fiddles, the glassware in our cabinets and on shelves would slide around, clinking and clanking with every big wave. So I cut up some 4MM thick anti-slip waffle pattern rubber sheets to fit each shelf and everything just stays where you put it. Easily removed for cleaning and it comes in different colors...🤙
Gidday Mike, we will be fitting non slip as you described in every robe I feel. After spending a month in an RV the thought of stuff rattling , sliding around does my head in.Cheers Mate, Ross.
Hey Rossco, Maybe for the interior joint covering, instead of just gelcoat, use an anti mold variety of a painted stripe as an accent to make it more interesting ?
A suggestion, flame bend the tassy oak. As you cramp it run a blow torch on it , works with many woods up to 1/2" thick, self steaming and reduces moisture content so epoxy happier and you can epoxy it sooner. Another thought for the same door is polycarbonate bent with a hot air gun, it then becomes a disply area.
One Christmas I bought my wife a delux Iron and Ironing Board. It was a Joke and I gave her the right present later, but my godness she absolutily freeked out calling me so many German words which I don't understand. I guess I hit a sweet spot ...
Bed base I think carpet might smell after a few months why not fix strips of wood under the matte leaving gaps and a few drill holes in the gaps for true ventilation.
Why not have a removable door you can use under way or higher wave action so the shelves wont ever need to be emptied. She is getting all gussied up and looks great!
Don’t bother with the steam iron, it will have very little effect. Instead use thinner strips of wood, over size and trim to width. Also your former should be over size to mitigate the non compliance of the ends of the piece.
Steaming wood with a household iron? I’ve used a homemade steam box for years and hated steaming a three foot stick in a twelve foot box. Looks like katherine is losing an iron.
Ross, I don't know why you are not the most popular boat show on UA-cam. Love the shows. It is refreshing to see a show that is so real. Great job!!
Mate, appreciate your sentiments, it feels real at the end of every day, I am buggered. Rossco.
Looking really nice Ross, your attention to detail is a credit to you 👍
Thanks so much.

Good man Terry totally agree.,
I think we missed a brilliant swear session after you cut the steam bent Tasmanian oak wrong 😂
Definately, it was quite profound, sorry but I have my dignity to preserve here Paul, haha.

You can steam wood in a thick plastic bag . Or pvc pipe.
Have done the bag in the past, went for speed ended up not getting the efficiency, though, worked out in the end, don't recommend the iron.Rossco
