      Had to edit it heavily, lots of underlying stress going on there with the launch, and like the water, the overflow was the reflection of the day. Cheers.

    This is one of the only channels that does all the building right. Keep up the professional work so others know how to build a nice boat.

    Windows...windows...windows. Look everyone it actually has windows! (LOL) Just teasing... They do look very rich. Great work. That advice about filling all the little holes. That might have escaped me. Good thing your viewers have been carefully monitoring the work. It shows you have a loyal following!

    Oh mate. So close to launch date I am as excited as you are. When I built my 35ft cat my wife was a rock. I would get frustrated and grouchy and she just carry on in her quiet way. Helping me giving huge support and also looking after our new son. If your time aboard is even 1/2 the fun we had over the 5 years we lived aboard you both are in for a wonderful challenging time. Wish you both the very best. You have an awesome partner mate 😊😊😮😮

    Looking good rossco ..... When you mentioned putting the salt and pepper shakers on the shelf under the window, my immediate thought was "Yeh! How long are they going to stay up there?" (especially at sea). SOLUTION: Build a small stainless steel rail around the edge of that shelf. Happy 2025 enjoying you Life on the Hulls.

    Feel your pain on the bilge pump. I just used one to flush my water heater with vinegar. When done i thought id best flush the vinegar out of the pump. Ill just put it in bath tub without a hose and itll be ok. Ha! I plugged in the pump it shot water straight up about 8', hit the ceiling and proceeded to shower the entire bathroom in the ten seconds or so it took me to unplug it!

      @@LifeOnTheHulls Honestly, when we built out house, the air was blue when stuff like that happened, which it did, a lot. Enough to make a sailor blush. All is good after a nice cup of tea though :)

    Hooking a pump up is pretty simple, sure you don’t need help with the sinks and toilets?

    • @LifeOnTheHulls
      @LifeOnTheHulls  7 годин тому

      Janet was tampering with the fitting to improve the flow, funny stuff, but not so funny at the time.

      @@LifeOnTheHulls just kidding around and offering a little levity. Janet sounded pretty stressed at the time. I would say send me a ticket and I would handle all the rest of the hookups for your water system but I would think it’s completed by now. Great job BTW!

    Why have you worked for years and now put the stress of this self imposed deadline on yourself. I just can't see what the big hurry is all about ,if it takes another year I just dont understand doing this to yourself when its not necessary. It just doesn't make much sense to do this after all these years.

      I know right? I'm mustering through at 2x but pretty much lost interest. A better way would've been to up the video release schedule so that it coincided with the launch. It would've taken some planning and forsight but most of all consideration for his viewers as more than a revenue stream. But this isn't the first channel to tap into the youtube schtick. I follow very very few of them after launch because frankly most of them aren't personalities I want to waste my time investing in.

    Wow! Your boat is looking so beautiful! What an absolutely wonderful job you’re doing!
    I have a question though. Do you still have a backside after dropping the desktop?🥹 I hope so and I imagine Janet is pretty forgiving and hopefully the finish was set up enough that it didn’t get damaged. I know it can be hard working with your spouse, but you should count your blessings. I wish my wife and I could work half as well as you and Janet, but unfortunately that’s not in the cards for me. We work together, but it can be a rough and challenging task.
    Sorry I haven’t commented for a while. We have recently moved and I too have been very busy. I have just recently had a chance to catch up on your adventures.
    Have a wonderful New Year! And as always,thanks for sharing!
