Just to add, I bought a 39mm blue hydroconquest automatic last December from jomashop, beautiful watch. Found the action of the movement very stiff to wind or set time. I returned it to them from Ireland to USA and actually got it back today after a few months.. watch is sorted, serviced, stem replaced, water sealed, new o ring etc.
Bought a few times from Jomashop and this was the first time I had to use customer service and they did not let me down.
To select another, under the grand I think it would have to be the Hamilton Ventura, just as it would be so different from anything else I own and you can't go wrong with a Hamilton..
Love the channel, keep it up.

Citizen Tsuki-yomi in any color dial (gray, red, blue in that order), which represents the moon's face with craters and shadows. It is an Eco-Drive with atomic world time, perpetual calendar and a true moon phase complication. It has day, date, and am/pm functions. Comes with sapphire crystal and titanium case/bracelet without feeling overly lightweight (100 grams). 43mm case works great for my beefy 8 inch wrist, but with a reasonable 48mm lug to lug makes it viable for smaller wrists. 100m WR makes it a worry-free daily wearing sports watch that can be worn casually to formally.

I've had 3 sub $1000 watches in my cart on Jomashop for a couple months now.
    1) Green Mido Multifort TV Big date.
    2) 42mm Hamilton Murph.
    3) Green Bulova Devil Diver.
I've been wanting a vintage inspired watch for the better part of the past 2 years, and all of these really hit that sweet spot for what I like in a unique looking, versatile watch. I love Hamilton and Bulova, and I'm very interested in trying a big date complication, so I've been going back and forth waiting for a good sale. Unfortunately for my wallet, the Devil diver and the multifort are on sale right now, so I'll have to make a decision on what or which to buy soon!

If I had $1,000 to spend on Jomashop, I'd definitely be adding the Ice Blue PRX to the collection. I've held out because of the PRX hype, but after its attention has waned a bit, it's an empirically good watch!

I went to Jomashop but I didn’t find the watch I really wanted to comment on. My favorite bronze watch out there is the.Baltic bronze aquascaphe brown with sapphire bezel, but to still qualify for your gift, I would choose bronze Hamilton field watch, but honestly, I’d way rather have a MadHacker field watch.
Aside from that I was surprised to see all the stuff Jomashop sells! Thanks

    Great video.
My choice would be the Hamilton Khaki Field Murph at $765. A great looking and versatile field watch that's easy to dress up a little with the leather strap, or dress down for a day in the mountains with a NATO. The 100m water resistance provides the 'weatherproofing' that's needed here in the mountains of Snowdonia or adventures and expeditions farther afield, and it'll survive the odd dunking when I cross rivers and streams, take a cooling plunge, or tip over canoes and fall off of paddleboards.

If I had the chance to get a watch under $1,000 on JomaShop, I personally would go for the UNIMATIC U2S-8N!
I can’t help but see the essence of a direct but brutally modern descendent of the design language of tool watches of the past, like the ROLEX Ref. 6098 big bubbleback watche’s case, and the dial and crown of a Ref. 6538 Big Crown Submariner ….. BUT not as a knock off, but a very tasteful appreciative homage of those great tools 🛠️ 😅

I know very little about Raymond Weil, but after looking on the joma website surely the Maestro Automatic Moon Phase Blue Dial is worth a mention. Retails for $1600, Joma are offering it for $600. Uniquely shaped hour and minute hands, Roman numerals, encircled by a vinyl looking texture, in contrast to the coarse texture in the centre and the layered case shape. It's luxury, it's a dress watch, but it's giving off a contemporary sporty vibe and has a moon phase. Just a bummer about that date window.

After a long period and shortlisting 12 watches down to 3, I would have to pick a dependable Hamilton! I've gone a bit left field with my pick and chosen the Khaki Field Titanium Automatic Blue Dial H70545140
Here's my logic, if I had the money right now, I am firmly in the market for a bracelet watch with a smart casual style and minimal complications. The titanium build of this watch offers me reduced weight and something different. The rich blue and contrasting numerals pop and give off a nice all round aesthetic. Automatic, obviously and at 42mm this is a perfect dimension for my 7.25 inch wrist which suits 39 - 42mm case sizes.
Finally, I am a huge Hamilton fan and this would be the first of many from their Khaki line.

The Longines hydroconquest would be my pick,I own the previous generation blue dial 39mm and find it a great timekeeper and overall very well built for the money

I’m not the first to pick it, but the Ball Fireman Night Train Automatic is just splendid.
