I love these types of vlogs. Thank you so much for sharing!! Hoping you do MSC's Seascape this winter. I really NEED to see that! Loved Divina in April. We had a blast!
6:15 Funny Jay, I usually get the ship lanyard for the key card and still put it in my pocket. Makes it a little harder to lose and I get souvenir out of it. lol
Had to laugh at “Henry’s Italian Cousin “! Just did the outtakes to close out our Carnival Magic NY series and we said “There’s one of Jay’s vacuums” haha! The ship looked awesome, we’ve used GoPort as well, so easy!! Great vlog you guys!
I got off as you were getting on. Ocean cay is fantastic especially the beach party and light show. Beautiful ship but out dated. The tv's are smaller than my lap top and the internet was horrible. But it was still enjoyable. Have fun !!!!!
I booked the snooze park package from go port for my upcoming March 2023 cruise from port Canaveral . The price for a weeks parking, shuttle and hotel was cheaper than the hotel by itself.
Sailing on MSC Seaview in a couple of weeks before it heads over to Brazil for the winter! So excited to get back onboard an MSC ship, it's been a year!!
❤we love you guys 😊 thank you for the quality content! I’ve been watching you guys for couple years now and every video is always entertaining and informative! Thank you 😊
EverytimeI see comments about msc divina even being a platinum carnival member we found after 3 divina cruise s it is our favorite cruise ship going again January 2023. We always stay hampton inns.
Woo hoo, what a celebratory sailaway that was! I didn't expect MSC to have such an energetic party! Why are you at the lowest tier for this sailing? I thought MSC was status matching...are they not? Not that it will be bad for you to show us how that goes! Much love, Nancy & Anthony
Love your blogs! I have been watching a lot of cruising blogs hoping to find out what ships have steps into their pools and not just ladders. I’m recovering from several broken bones, and as a senior adult things take time to get back to normal. Swimming is something I really enjoy and don’t wanna be stuck on the ship I can’t get into the pool. I’m hoping in some of your videoing you will get close enough to a pool so I can see if there are steps. I’ve even asked representatives from several cruise lines and no one seems to know. Either way I’m gonna continue to watch you guys, because you’re great!
That’s a tough piece of information to come by, oddly enough. The only ships we’ve seen steps into the main pools on a regular basis have been the Celebrity M-class ships. Most others just haven’t seemed to bother for whatever reason. We’ve started trying to point it out whenever we see steps though!! :D
It was so good to meet the two of you on the sail away party! As you could tell, I was quite surprised to look up and almost jumped right out of my chair. After following your videos for so long, I really got a kick out of meeting the two of you! I really had a good time on Divina, hope you both did too!
What a really nice ship it’s beautiful! Looking forward to all your adventures this sailing. And Jay thank you so much for introducing Henry’s Italian cousin, he’s a real cutie 😂😂😂
You two have the best videos informative and funny…….I love it. I just booked a Christmas cruise on MSC Meraviglia and I can’t wait to go and enjoy my first MSC cruise.
Nah, we always try to make sure we've got something new about each adventure... be it a new ship, new port, new cruise line... something to keep it exciting. We love it!! :D
We stayed in almost the same exact room in Hendersonville, TN a few months ago. It was a very spacious room however I thought it odd that there was no dresser. Just a few small wire baskets under the TV. Our room was even bigger because we had 2 beds.
You two, along with the other cruise vloggers of course, inspired me to book a Royal Caribbean cruise this January. They should pay you lol. For real though, is the eastern Caribbean and Perfect Day at Coco Cay going to be warm enough to swim? I’m a baby about cold water unless it’s for water slides, and even then, they have to be worth it. I haven’t been on a cruise in 19 years so even if it’s too cold to enjoy the pools, I intend to have a lot of fun.
I work for the company that manages that hotel. They're a great group of people, thanks for sharing a little bit about your stay with the youtube world
Ouch. Seems really unfair when added into carnival equation. Divination is the older ship of the 3 or 4 in the USA now. But I did not think this ship was lower quality then Merivigilia or Seascape or similar being in this ship once.
Since this vlog is only the first half of our first day onboard the ship, we really only had chance to enjoy lunch thus far. There's plenty more food to come, don't worry!! :P
The Divina looks like a neat ship! Going to be trying our 1st MSC cruise in January on the Maraviglia, which I guess is a much larger ship? Looking forward to seeing more fun and shenanigans- especially from Ocean Cay , we have an overnight stay there as well on our January cruise..
Im just starting as a travel agent. Can you advise what the travel agent room is that you booked? Im wanting to get as much information on all these ships so i can be as knowledgeable as you all.:-) truely love watching you guys
Go port allowed our carryon suitcase to be taken to the ship!! I had my medicine, wine and first day essentials take. By port porters. Was not allowed anything except my purse on the shuttle
Weird! We always make sure to never tag any bags that we don't want carried on by the porters. We've had to surrender our carry-on bags if they were the larger rolling kind, but if they weren't tagged, then they sit outside the shuttle until we walk over and claim them so we can take them on ourselves. The normal process is that you identify your bags when you step off the shuttle, and let the porters know which ones they should take, from what we've seen. Interesting!!
@@parodeejay GoPort loaded all suitcases, even carryon, onto the trailer. All of those pieces were taken by terminal porters to the ship! We were not allowed off the shuttle while this took place, therefore we couldn’t retrieve the carryon. Could have been a boarding disaster if our cruise documents were in carryon
We almost booked one of these 4 day cruises out of Port Canaveral. The headline price was about $110! I have not tried MSC yet so interested to see what you guys think of them.
@@vitaminsea2475 yeah I know. Things change though. The main thing that makes me wonder about them is why are they so cheap? They must not be getting close to capacity
I mean they just opened it to 100% capacity beginning of Sept. So hasn't even been that long. And their still not very well known in America. I told friends I was going on msc and they were like "who?"
@@vitaminsea2475 yeah my wife has been on one of their cruises in Europe. She enjoyed it her mom did not like the food. Everybody’s different. I am up for trying one but would do a short one first which is why this series interests me.
We're leaving next Sunday on the same itinerary, it's a 7 day. But we're on the Meraviglia. So excited to see the overnight at ocean cay and what that's like.
What hotel did you chose at Port Canaveral? We have stayed at The Homewood Suites there but would like to try somewhere else! Update: I asked the question before I watched. My bad! Great video!!
Hampton Inn Cape Canaveral, which was super convenient. We’ve also done the TownePlace in Titusville which was very nice, but that was a bit further from the action, ha ha!! :P
Me and my wife love you guys videos we recently subscribed and start watching just curious do you guys have a house or do you guys live in cruise ships just wondering I know it’s not any of my business we were just curious anyways enjoys this cruise and hope you guys have a real good time
I have been binge watching your videos and will be doing my first MSC cruise soon. I enjoy your content… One thing I haven’t seen anyone cover is are there any themed nights. On MSC?
I just finished a cruise on MSC Meraviglia and used Go Port parking group that you have recommended. Our experience was not very good and did not match how you present the group or how the Go Port business represents themselves. The 5 minutes from port terminal is very misleading. It took us 2 1/2 hours to travel from the parking lot to the MSC terminal, and 1 1/2 hours to transfer from the cruise terminal back to the parking lot. It seems that they had also oversold the available parking spots and we were forced to park in a partially flooded wet grass area. You may wish to re think recommending the use of this group. ☹
Oh wow! Our transfer time was literally about 10 minutes from parking lot to Divina, and we had fantastic service. What in the world would make the ride that long? Ohhh, unless you’re counting wait time inside the building prior to boarding the shuttle, which ours was about 15 minutes there at the facility. Sorry to hear about your experience!! :O
@@parodeejay Thank you for your response. Yes I was counting the wait time in the building and on the bus. The large bus had to be filled before they would leave the lot.
I really like you two and your videos, but I have become a little worried. How is Dee connected to the travel industry? Does she work for a travel company or is she running her own business? It matters because then your reviews might be 'questionable' since it might impact your reviews. For ex. if the pizza on the last cruise wasn't very good, would you say that and therefore miss a possible future booking, or would you keep quiet?
We've never shied away from expressing our opinions, positive or negative, ha ha... we'll gladly tell you that MSC has the best pizza at sea, and Celebrity some of the worst, as is coming up in our Equinox vlogs! :P Dee is an independent travel agent with her own agency, supported by a host agency, but that has no bearing on what we say and how we act while on vacation... we've always tried to just be ourselves and report our honest experiences, because doing it any other way wouldn't be fair to our community!! :D ~Jay
@@parodeejay Thank you! Yea, thats why I find your UA-cam video's so fun. I get the feeling that you ARE like this in real life, and don't create(!) specific personalities for the video's.
