Had inside cabin under the disco on original Mardi Gras - my first cruise - couldn’t get to sleep until 2 am, got up at 6 am to go out on deck and was hooked on cruising - lol!

We live in Orlando and we were also there to welcome her to Port Canaveral for the first time. It was amazing! Our sailing on her isn’t till October if all goes well. I had the same exact room experience on the Vista. Our TA booked us in a room right over the theater and I didn’t realize until we boarded. It was non-stop music! Even at 3-4am the staff were practicing for shows!! It was the worst cruise I’ve ever had because we couldn’t sleep from the extra loud thumping music!!
I love the cruise directors on these ships, they are soo fun. Cant wait for my Cruise, or go on the Mardi Grais myself summer 2023. You all have fun look forward to the videos.
Nah, I'm good with just the photos of the food. My tastebuds are different from yours, so I'll have to make my own decisions. Which, fortunately, I get to do in a couple of weeks, so thanks for all the great footage of things I'm seeing that I want to check out.
All standard interior cabins on Mardi Gras are small, but we knew that coming into the experience. They're 158 square feet versus about 185 square feet on other Carnival ships, and you can feel the difference, ha ha... :P
Your view of the Hubb app reminded me of how the Hubb shows up on my phone or iPad. Notice the temperature, 87 F. On my phone and iPad it shows up in Celsius. Weird eh! Guess because it’s downloaded in Canada. But My mind is in the past it thinks in standard measure.

Embarkation day is always hot, hah… with them keeping the main doors open for embarkation, it’s hard to find a cool spot on the ship. It did cool off overnight, and it’s pretty pleasant today!! :P
Funny, we actually covered that in our travel day video. $17 per day, but we did a package through GoPort that included hotel, parking, and shuttle that worked out better for us math wise. :P
No, we’ve never known them to do that. Sometimes they do put in the schedule that there is a “power hour“ at the arcade which means everything is half-price, but that’s about the only deal we’ve seen for the arcade.

From what we can tell, every single Havana cabin is going to be able to hear the music from the theater below. So I don’t think anywhere in the area is safe, ha ha… :P
We knew it was over the theater but were curious to see how that would work out… strange to have the entire Havana area in such a noisy zone… but at least we get to enjoy the evening shows twice!! :P
You can accomplish everything without a phone. Muster videos are on the TV, reservations can be made at Guest Services, there’s an Anytime Dining desk for check-in or you can do assigned time dining, they have paper Fun Times, paper menus… very manageable!! :D
We have done MSC Armonia. We loved it. We have the Seashore booked also. No Europe yet. We had plans but 2020 cancelled them. We'll get there eventually.

How was the embarkation process? How long did it take & were you tested before getting on board?
No test required, and we were onboard about 15 minutes after arriving at the terminal. We had a 10:30am arrival appointment. Woohoo!! :D

It used to be. Now it is only for guests staying in the Havana area.

I’d say the lower the better. Pretty much all balconies are out of the question, hah… unless it’s a forward balcony!! :P
Your room is too claustrophobic for me, but it's nice to see Carnival putting in a glass shower instead of those awful shower curtains.
What was the alcohol. % in those 2 beers.??
4.2% in both the strawberry and purple haze varieties. 0% in the root beer. :P
