- Meet Dereck & Jayde Quinn of Lapping the Island. They sold up & started traveling full time in 2018 when their youngest was just 6 weeks old. They have 3 kids and an incredible story to tell. Many have heard of 'the F350 incident' which has devastated this family. But - they are resilient and are smiling even though they are STILL without their beloved truck - which we find inspirational. These guys love the remote places with traditional history - just wait until you hear where their favourite places are! We caught up with them in a very cold and windy Exmouth, WA.

We sold everything to travel Australia in our Titanium Caravan and Chevy Silverado HD and have met some incredible people also living the 'van life' as we road trip our way around. We think it's about time you get to meet some of our traveling friends too!

Hopefully one day we can travel also. I’m only 50 years of age but , old school when it comes to technology, only sms and emails. I just started writing comments on you tube, no Facebook for me. 😂😂

I’m sure there is a newer term for it.
We frequently go up to Suffolk Park, but we camp along the way . We also have two Rottweilers that go camping with us also , this is a good thing because you don’t get the sticky beaks coming close to check your van and rig setup.
After a stressful day at work I always look forward to watching your videos and dream of doing the same sooner rather than later. 👍👍
