    After driving the Yukon for a while with the new drop it seems to ride a little rough. I actually think it may be the rear drop springs but I wanted to swap out the bump stops first and try a bigger profile tire. While I do love the look of the 24s on the Yukon I wanted to see how the sierra denali would ride on 24s. I was really surprised at the ride quality. I couldn't tell the difference on ride quality or gas mileage. The Slammed yukon is a little better but I am still not happy with the ride quality and will be swapping to a different spring soon. I should have stuck with what I knew worked in the past. There is not a good 5" Spring option on the market that I have used. If you are looking to lower your yukon or sierra I have several videos on the channel with ways I have done it. Hit the Comments and let me know what you think.......

    I think the 22s look good on the Yukon, 24s 🔥 on the Sierra

    24s on the truck look good, but I think you need a taller tire to fill the wheel well...

    I think 22” look better on the Yukon. The 24” look better in the truck. No way to get around rougher ride with smaller sidewall. 20s on my 2020 Tahoe is as big as I want to go and it rides great, but not lowered either.

    Think the tire and wheel swap was the right thing for both vehicles. ✌🏻

    Love the look of the Yukon I have a Yukon Denali I am going to lower soon but mine has 20 inch wheels on it. I was honestly thinking of putting 24s. The 22s look good on your Yukon.

    Recently dropped cateye with IHC 4/6 kit and it’s doing the same thing! Some days feels like it rides rough and some days are smooth

    IMHO, 24" wheels are too big, I like the 22's on both truck and Yukon better. Just me... to each his own.

    I have some 26 inch wheels that are the same color of your Sierra with 33s and they would look insanely good on it. For sale and im a state away

    Imo the suv looked better with the 24’s but I also like the style of the 22” wheel better, so I guess whatever rides the best is the way to go. How come you didn’t take the big ol GMC off the tailgate? Is there indentations in the tailgate? Thanks

    Try taking off the shock extenders, and use the original location! Might be that your shocks are fully extended and is not absorbing as it should! That was the problem on my nbs, never know might help!

    Great video! I'm sure you know already but some viewers may not...make sure with aftermarket wheels that they have the little cutout by the backside of the lug holes, if not then take off the little copper clips that hold on the rotor from factory otherwise wheels won't sit true.

    • @TWAMotorsports
      @TWAMotorsports  Рік тому +2

      Good info. Must wheels now accommodate for those clips

    I’m old school when it comes to wheels and tires. Give me some normal sized wheels with some tires with a taller sidewall. I have an 07 Avalanche with factory 17 inch wheels with 265/70-17 tires and I have no desire to go to a bigger wheel and lower profile tire. Plus I live in Dallas Texas and the roads around here aren’t big wheel low profile tire friendly 😂.
    But I know everyone has different styles so to each their own.

    • @TWAMotorsports
      @TWAMotorsports  Рік тому +1

      @bdtaylor1979 Рік тому

      @@TWAMotorsports I don’t know why but I’ve never been a fan of the big wheels and low profile tires. They look great on other people’s vehicles but I don’t think I would ever have them unless the car came with them from the factory. If that makes sense lol.

    • @TWAMotorsports
      @TWAMotorsports  Рік тому +1

      @@TWAMotorsports that’s good. Both vehicles look great. If I had to choose between the two wheel and tire setups I agree that the 24s look better.
